Seddi continues to lean casually against the tree, but there's a sharpness to his gaze.  An attentiveness.

Cunning.

"Looks like you're packing some serious firepower yourself.  Bet you've got some real interestin' stories you could tell, same as me."

Seddi doesn't ask for any specifics and moves on to answering Dodger's questions.

"Like I said yesterday, I don't have a death wish.  There's a few reasons I'm considering signing on, though.  The loot is one, I'm not gonna lie.  The target being a chief subject of my long term research goals is another.  If this thing is going to hit the city in a month if nothing is done, I also reckon it's better to be proactive about it and find some competent help instead of sittin' around doin' nothin'.  And you, friend, look competent.  Just like a few other interesting individuals I met yesterday.  Some of whom are tentatively interested in helpin' out.  And one who's committed to fightin' it whether she gets help or not, rewards be damned."

Seddi shrugs.

"If that ain't enough to convince ya I mean business though, I wouldn't blame ya.  I'm sure most would say I'm crazy for even thinkin' about this.  In my experience though, you don't get very far in life without takin' a few calculated risks.  Didn't get to where I am today by playin' it safe all the time."

Rodger just chuckles at your glancing 'blow' , smile still as sharp as ever. Your answer, though, puts a stop to both, a small frown now directed your way.

He holds your stare, the force behind it enough to pin you in place as he mulls it over....

*Snicker*

"....Pfffft Bwahahaha heh!"

Dodger laughes, closing his eyes, slapping himself on the knee , and holding his high! Immediately he's back to the Dandy Man you first meet, all groove and fun as he wipes away a tear and gives you a grin, this one warm and friendly as it can be.

"Yup, I had you pegged like a nail struck with a Tinkaton's Hammer! You really are something else, aren't ya partner?"

The groove meister turns towards the sun, staring at it thoughtfully, his pompadour bouncing in the breeze as he taps one foot...

"....Could probably take the job all ons my own, Truth be told. *Shrugs* Don't wanna, though. Too much risk without resorting to means I rather not, and even if I come out smelling like Roserade the suits and circus would Houndoom to Insomnia's End. That, and I was hope'n that critter would mind it own business for s'most part - I'm with the voodoo folk on dealing with the Malefics: Respect them and Don't. Live and let live, and giving each other our own space with the occasionally check up and offering, ya know?"

*Sighs, bowing head*

"....Unfortunately, this mean motherhubber don't want to play house no more, if it was playing nice at all to 'gin with. Even for a sprite like it, that fellow is hateful: whatever caused it to become so filled with Spite to work itself up into a Wrathful God....well, S'not sure if I really want to know. Might get me angry if its stupid 'nough, heh..."

The Wilds Dandy turns to face you once more, a simple yet true smile as he steps forward once more.

"My mood s'would be stellar with honest and good mates like ya and the ones you're talking up, though. Always ready to groove with some rocking company. Together, working and twerking on something like that...."

Rodger Dodger sticks out his hand.

"*Cheek, Daring Grin!* I'm down for Hunting some of the Most Dangerous Game."
