Vernon is trying to determine how dangerous his involvement in this incident will be, and might text Seddi as someone who usually knows what's going on.

Akamu and Vernon would both get a prompt response from Seddi.

Yup, I heard.  Oz and I are on our way to one of the ransacked Centers now.  Gonna see who we can help and if we can find any clues indicating who these varmints are.

Vernon, if you're uncomfortable with potentially putting yourself in harm's way, stick with other trainers.  Safety in numbers as they say.  Government isn't expecting all civilians to go above and beyond with helping, so help out where you're comfortable with helping.

If any of y'all find out anythin', keep me posted.  I'm likely gonna be in the thick of things for a bit.
