[Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands

I kinda dont like the desigh direction in Violet/Scarlet (and most in Sword/Shield) and to me honestly, I see videos in the internet and seeing spoilers of the dlcs, Terapagos dont strike me a powerfull being. No even in his final form. Again, most Legendaries of the last 2 generations in general, doesnt strike me the dominating Aura most Legendary have (Eternatus as a solid exception of course. That Undead Dragon desigh and its final form as a Dimensional Hand is pretty epic in my opinion and show a dominate aura as a god of Death). Koraidon and Miraidon give me someway a more epic aura, with both giving me vibes of apex preadators of the past AND future.

Ogerpon though...I like the story of Ogerpon and the plotwist in the Oger be good instead of evil, but...Errgh I dont know, again the art style direction I not a big fan.

I think my problem with gen 8 and 9 is art direction. Its not like art desigh in Pokemon was always perfect (*cough* *cough* Garbordor) but I be feeling a decline in quality you know what I mean?

Don't forget the Treasures of Ruin, the foreign relics that became embodiments of destruction due to a king's greed!  Extremely metal lore.

Terapagos and the Loyal Three aren't exactly supposed to be intimidating pokemon at a glance tbh.  Underestimating their power is a bit of a running theme with SV's DLC stories.  The 'raidons are definitely supposed to be intimidating apex predators though, given how the main story of gen 9 ends!

It's fair if the art direction isn't doing it for ya.  The overall style of the series has definitely changed a lot over the years.  I do like that Game Freak seems to be trying different things with the Legendaries, but not every type of story and design is going to appeal to everyone.  And a lot of the awesome lore needs to be dug up from obscure one-liners stated in the games, either by NPCs or hidden away in the pokedex.

Now that is a loaded line of text if I ever read one.  Hmmmm...
