Your aide doubletakes at your for such a blatant admission, looking even more nervous and now very embarrassed. The professor, meanwhile, blinks, momentarily taken aback by both your capacity for Speech and what was said, before glancing over at Randy.

"I'm married, but thank you for the kind thoughts."

He hangs his head at that, now feeling crushed on top of embarrassed, but while that is happening the scientist turns their attention towards you. Their arms were still crossed, but they were no longer so...confrontational.

"A question for you: how do you know about that. *Blinks* ...Before you answer that, another question: are you 'Sylvia'? "

Presumably you answer yes, and with that the professor huffs out a sigh before nodding back.

"I thought so. My name is Dr. Sada. Seddi has already informed me about you and the aid you offered. I offer my own thanks for that and preventing him from getting caught up in further difficulties. As for your question, that is private information. If you want to know more Seddi is authorized to share as needed, and I trust his judgement thereof."

Sylvia’s whiskers twitch slightly with the thought of “direct contact”… if the professor picks up on that, she may realize there’s more Sylvia is choosing not to say.
