After you temporarily Ball the dog’s remains for proper disposal later you hear a “Hey!” and see a young officer run towards you, looking worried, harried, and roughed up.

“You need to leave the area ASAP! A rabid Houndoom is in the area, and we don’t want anyone to get hurt!”

Bit too late there, buddy.

Regardless of how you handle the cop he’ll give you a booster shot against possible rabies and you’ll be let on your way - so ends your 2nd /Morning Encounter!

Darren says to the cop "Problem dealt with," and

tosses the ball containing the Houndoom to the cop as proof. Through sheer unfortunate luck, *ponk* splat.

Darren grimaces at the officer's misfortune, before righting the mistake. Mareepish grin "Sorry, officer." Time to make like a Wimpod and bug out.

The Officer’s ‘Doom’ was not butchered, but getting a few kilos of dead dog appear right on top of you is still messy in the sense of being forced to the ground!

“Wha - OMPH!”

After that is dealt with - and the officer gives you the stink eye and is a bit rough with the shot - you vamoose!
