Wide Guard does NOT Block Status/Support Moves unlike Protect or Detect (I doubled checked the Corebook to be sure!), so the seed is planted onto Nalu, overriding his Ability while out with Insomnia (Base)! Not only that, but it drives him into such a anxious mess he loses his next Action! Shoot! No Acid Spray!

GORI laughs at their plight, rubbing it in!

Nalu is too much of an angry mess to Recover! They opt to Strike out instead!

Nervous, piss off, and now more defenseless than ever Nalu is at his breaking point, and shows so by unleashing a HOT stream of Water at the annoying ape!
