(...) My brother-in-law and I broke out the Lorcana starter set I was gifted and learned how to play that last night (and so begins the trip down the rabbit hole of yet another TCG...) (...)

Ohhh, Lorcana! Have fun with it and enjoy yet another TCG, hehe! I'm not playing or collecting these cards myself (not a big fan of disney), but I got to admit the artworks of the cards and the system itself is pretty cool from what I've seen and looked into during a convention early december.

The inkwell system definitely reminds me a bit of Duel Masters using every card as a possible energy source to play more cards!

Song cards being able to be played for 'free' by tapping a character of equal or greater cost is also just clever, lol. Game feels very Disney in style.
