Impressive, though he could easily finish it off with his next pokemon the weird guy has caught his intrest, it certainly looks like it is at least concidering coorperation. Be it a permanent addition to the team or a second odd creature to have the professor examine, surely it wouldn't hurt to try.

Sending out Lani he would speak up with an offer:

''You impressed me and I like your determination, why not join me. Surely some real fighting partners would be better for training then some defenseless lizard. You got potential and I can help you reach it if you accept!''

Holding out an Ultra Ball he would await a response, ready to signal Lani to jump in with a sky uppercut (6+4+3+2=15) should it suddenly decide to attack him anyway.

The bruising buster lets out an grumble as it eyed up your own premium brawler, the look in their eye become intrigued and, dare you say it, impressed as it listened to your offer...
