Big Gloomy Dragon is now Confused:   -2 Accuracy, Take 1 Damage Upon Missing with an Attack, lasts 1 full Round upon infliction, then Roll Insight – 2 per Action to Snap Out [3 Successes Needed the follow Round!] 

Rar....rar......oh it's acking everything. Why was this mere whelp so damn tenacious and strong...? Still, it must Fight. It will defend what is his until the bitter end! Rarrrrr.....!

Having kept a Keen Eye on the literally looming threat before you, its easy to tell that the BGD is on its last legs - a few more good hits and he's going DOWN for the count! Heck, you could try to make a Catch to end things early - the brute is Confused and weakened as he'll ever be without Fainting and further Statusing it (not too conducive to making a Loyal friend or sell, that route) !

....This last round all but confirmed your suspicion that something was not right about this Fight. This Big Gloomy Dragon practically SCREAMS 'Legendary Threat' , yet it's getting clobbered by your Draconic Fighter. To fair its giving just as good as it was getting too - if it weren't for this match up playing HEAVILY into Lani's favor and triggering a bunch of positive Pseudo Mods it'd be a hell of a lot more dicey. Still, what gives?

.....Last and certain not least, you catch the BGD starting to eye you with angry condemnation. Before, it was content to ignore you in favor of dealing with the Strange Dragons that were INTRUDING in their territory, but after seeing you erase all the wounds of its foe? It considers you a fair and PRIORITY target now, your Gut tells you. Oh boy - better be prepared to Dodge, Hide, Run, or get Lani to Clash for you!
