You manage to get a *SMACK!* across the face for your trouble by their trunk, almost knocking you of it entirely, but in the end they simply settle down into a only slighlty grumpy mood, completely disinterested in the rescue take you offered. Your PC takes 2 Lethal Damage, and is Concussed - essentially Confusion, but you need to treat the Lethal Damage first before you can cure it like Confusion; Cruz has successfully been Calmed without causing a mess. 

Considering this was a HIGHLY dangerous and Disobedient Mon, everything turned out remarkably well in the end. Now to deal with this painful headache, ow ow OW....!

Reminder: Treating Lethal Damage doesn't restore HP, but just eliminates the Lethal Damage decreasing your Max HP. In this Case if you treat his injuries with a Super Potion he would have 7/9 HP (2 HP Heal = 1 LD Removed) .
