Small retcon then: When Syliva approaches Seddi and Akamu (@Dragonstrike and @Redstone) at their table, and while she is replying to Seddi's inquiry, she is keeping her psychic presence on full shutdown and her fur still on end, though she makes no comment about this.
However, if Akamu reaches for that ball (to show Seddi, presumably) regardless of whether they've noticed her, she will attempt to halt them with as fierce a psychic vocalization as she can:
