That was absolutely and utterly intentional, and Bernhard takes some glee in having triggered THAT reaction from Citrine. Good luck in explaining that situation to your fellows and superiors then - you don't run, and even less interact, and even LESS less make business with none else than The Untouchable Breeze, the Master Mythical-partnered Sky Scimitar Alchemist Council Member, and Acrowl's former but still highly-valued personal apprentice. 

Modest Encounter 2

After some thorough sweeping of the soaked and drenched streets you find a troop of Rattata, lead by a few Raticate and what appears to be some....tall, lanky, and robbed rat creature leading them through the downpour to somewhere more dry and safe.

Said creature takes a quick notice to you and halts the entire troop, their and dozens of beady and wary eyes digging into you as they take your measure...

 A troop of Rattata, lead by a few Raticate? Now if that doesn't sound like an all-you-can-eat buffet for Myra~. That tall, lanky, and robbed rat creature however is what spikes's Bernhard's interest and curiosity - though more in a morbid sense of 'I wonder what body parts I can extract from it to use for alchemy' than 'I wonder what sort of creature that is', and it couldn't be even more far from 'I wonder if this may be a new Pokemon companion'

Dozens and dozens of beady eyes don't impress or falter the Stoic Magus, not in the slightest. For a split second though, there's sort of a... smile on his face, one that means NOTHING good. In his tone of voice adressing the troop of rats, some amusement rings back. "Looking for a place more dry or safe, don't you?~ Well... You're in luck - or perhaps Y O U   A R E   N O T. "

With an overly dramatic snap of his Gauntlet'ed hand - compare Igor in this scene - Bernhard would trigger Myra's Drought Ability. She remains within her Dusk Ball however, we'll handle this via Evocation Spells from both Myra and Spritzee (the latter having his premiere of Bernhard using moves as spells from. If Morgana sure did know how to pick that particular Spritzee [a 'Mon from her very own fairy kin after all!], Bern cannot help but to be quite curious about how things go and what effects the unique moves proove to have).

Bernhard's Will should be at max (5/5) after two Encounters thanks to Zephy's Ever Spirited! plot device, so +2 XP and +1 dice for the next roll is it. Whatever that roll turns out to be, that is - this Bonus Encounter takes place AFTER all previous Encounters are handled after all, since it's just resting from a, again, busy day.

B.E. # 2 - Bonding and Sketching with your Mons!

All alchemic ingredients Obtained! Bonds with Pokemon maintained and slightly incremented - all is well between you and them, though Myra is still a little down about getting scolded.

Zephy's Blizzard , you say? Okay then!

Sketched learnt and used - Nirix now know's Zephy's Blizzard. As in a Blizzard that is at Mythical Grade. Oh boy! Don't you love Sketch shenanigans and some of your Partner's whimsical Potential rubbing off on your other Mons? he he he!

Magical Crafting Ingredients added!~ We're taking some MORBID JOY upon bottling up that toxic (kitsune) sludge in some of our most sturdy vials. If Bernhard wouldn't feel utterly confident in his alchemistic skills, he'd have quiiite the reservations using this ingredient. But it's BERNHARD we're talking about it here, so...

We'll notice Myra being in sort a down mood, and we cannot let that pass. We're taking some extra time to brush her golden fur, reassure her that she's a good girl and a highly treasured magical companion - without the emotional bond, care or love a Trainer would do however, that's not what Bern is. "You surely did grow so, sooo much since I've picked you up as a young Vulpix; I do remember the image of you having just a single white tail still. And yet, there's more room for you to grow, to strive for more, further hone your skills and talents... Not a moment I do regret having taken you into my care, dear Myra. Not ONE moment."

On the note of ZEPHY's Blizzard - that plays into my hands, huehehe! Striving under and mastering Hail Weather kinda fits Bern's kuudere nature, I like that quite a lot! May heaven and Arceus have mercy on Bernhard and Zephy unleashing some serious icy powers; the latter isn't half Articuno for nothing.

Last but not least ... ~

....Morgana is currently unavaliable for contact - she sent you a brief message telling you this much in the evening, telling you something 'revelatory' come up that requires her maximum attention and much consideration and reflection, in an unusually plain and serious tone. 

...Well drat and hoo boy. Your friend is in a mood right now - a not one well disposed toward company, it seems. Arceas has mercy on what poor bastard she'll use to lift her spirits or take it out on once she is over with it. No night-time rondevus for you, Rome-magi !

Hmm... Ah, over these news Bernhard stops sitting there at the table in agony and self-pity - instead he sits there in, dare one say it, disappointment? Sorta???? Part of him is reliefed, a different part of him frustrated, and both of these parts of his are having a match made in heaven over which one outweights the other in the end. He lets out a deep sigh, then proceeds to bury his face in his hands for a good minute or so, having to let the message from Morgana sink in first.

He utterly trusts that whatever it is that she calls 'revelatory' enough to overpower the feelings of her having been thrilled and Tinkled Pink over Bernhard's(!!!) forwardness, Morgana is able to handle it. Those news of her being in a mood are what spike his curiosity and interest - Who- or whatever it was that caused that mood, it better have a decent burial insurance. And not value its life nor soul all too much. Bernhard's not quite sure whether he EVER experienced Morgana out of all people(!!!11!) angry and furious. ...And quite honestly, he'd rather NOT experience it. E V E R .


Well then... Morgana would receive TWO responses back.

The first one is aaaaall business and work - because meeting up with her tonight was scheduled as a BUSINESS meeting, about time you get that into your thick skull, you lost cause of a Scimitar Magus. What made you think anythingelse?? There were important things to be talked over, information and updates to be exchanged after all. All before he'll be off for the voyage through Sutalör.  ...Let's not think about the fact that Morgana is fully capable of hunting him down wherever and whenever, as proven when the party met in full the first time. No hiding spot is safe... *shivers*

.... Over having DARED hitting 'send' on that message, Bernhard desperately needs another cup his finest blend of darjeeling. Or rather two cups, while we're at it. ...And a few sugar cookies to go with it, yes please. Who cares how late it is, teatime is anytime in his books. Thankfully Zephy's not around (still out cold in her unrestful sleep), even SHE would be suprised how vividly he's able to blush and not calm down for half an hour or so. He'll strikly refuse to give any insight shall his other Pokemon-Companions give their oh-so-composed-and-stoic Master weird or concerned looks.

No night-time rondevus for you, Rome-magi !

With his evening's plans crossed, the Magi would spend his remaining night in a peaceful manner then. Reflect on the day and himself and his actions and words, overthink everything that happened today back and forth (please don't), observe the weather outside from the window, turn in for the night early to catch a good amount of and plenty of sleep - he'll gently craddle Zephy onto a pillow next to his own, the Icy Rock and enigmatic Card still in her clutch. He keeps a tight watch over her until he himself is off into the evergreen fields of dreamland... To be the very first one Zephy'd see as soon as she 'wakes up' from her coma. A couple of sugar cookies and some water are prepared beside her too. She may not feel or notice it, but until Bern falls asleep, he finds himself all gently stroking her cheek with the back of his natural/non-gauntlet'ed hand. ".....I do happen to miss you and your antics, dear Zephy ", he'd softly whisper to her.



Bernhard's mind wanders; so do his body and soul; ever wander, always wander, in union, further and further away away away...
