On the strange handheld device:

It's at this point that Seddi's inexperience with his undemonstrated until now skill bites him in the rear end.  He was trying to interface with it using his Spiritual Technomancy, but the strange workings of the device are just too confounding!  Akamu and Sylvia would see him fiddling with the handheld, trying to turn it on somehow, only to suddenly bring a hand up to his forehead in response to the onset of a killer headache.

"...okay...lesson learned...don't try that on complex devices without Leaves next time.  Owowowowow...what even is that thing made of...???"

Surely, that headache will go away on its own if he just gives it a moment, right?

Seddi's intention is to have Rabsca set up Safeguard (oh, the irony...), Light Screen, and Reflect just in case the protections are needed, but Confused as he is, there's a non-zero chance that he doesn't even grab Rabsca's Pokeball in the first place...

...Nobody knows HOW, but you ended up with Sylvia in your hands, hoisted into the air over the table everyone was sitting in like Frikitiki held up Cindba the Litleo in the hit movie The Pyroar King, shouting at the top of your lungs:

"BY MY DECREE, USE YOUR AWESOME POWER TO PROTECT US ALL!!!"

Luck Dice (Sylvia): (6) YES.

What happened from there was you ended up squishing the sunny esper a bit too hard in a ticklish/sensitive area, causing her to let out a squeak and a subsequently a small glimmering burst of light from her gem!

*Rolls...* 3 Successes, 2 Fails, Snake Eyes....

*Ping!* A Safeguard sprung into existence?! 
*Zing?* You're Trapped in a Semi-permeable (Air) Barrier with Sylvia?!
*Fwop* Sylvia grows in size and ends up completely smothering you beneath her!?!  + 1 Difficulty to any Checks involving Movement or Figuring out WHAT is going on!

If Sylvia is ticklish then any movement on Seddi's part is going to be hilarious - well, more so than they are now anyway!

Akamu is just left sitting their with Lani, both probably wondering what in the heck is happening now....

Sylvia is similarly flabbergasted, having *no* idea what just happened. ...Seddi? What just happened?

And yes, she's quite ticklish in the underbelly. Which isn't normally an issue, but... She's got a lot of underbelly now.
