[Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands

Myra is indeed with the cowboy, with a look of pure confusion and dismay on her muzzle as she stared at the Spector. What....in the world? Her Master is here....yet isn't...in such a Ghastly....detached form? She...doesn't really know how to handle....this but continue to STARE....

...and let out a 'Yelp!' as she felt something pet her on the head! No....not something.....her Master! But how??? The Spector was not near her, let alone making the motion to actually reach out and touch her! This was most strange and distressing.....yet without a doubt it was that gesture and 'touch' that convinced her that the Spector indeed was her Master Bernard. The fox would never be fooled or mistaken in anyone or anything that DARED to lay their hands on her without permission...

On Bern's end, he automatically - absentmindedly -  feels the need to greet the 'Myra' he sees 'enter his room'  by welcoming 'her' to his side and giving her a fond petting that was a tinged with a bit of ruefulness.

"Much as I'd like to try them, I think I'll have to pass on the tea and cookies for now."  Mostly because they aren't here, in a random alleyway.

"There's a few things I wanted to discuss with you.  Though I think we should start with the most obvious thing."

Seddi is being extremely vague on purpose to see how 'Bernhard' reacts, because he did bring Myra with him.  And if Bernhard is aware of what's in Seddi's vicinity at all, he shouldn't need to be specific to get a reaction of some kind out of the mage, whatever it may be.

He - in this ghastly form, that is - does indeed greet and beckon Myra to his side, where she rightfully belongs, what's a Scimitar without the magical power provided by Pokemon (Spoiler: Weak, and a Nobody + Nothing in Bernhard's book)? He gives her a gentle headpat over the forehead and golden muzzle, "Welcome back....." we whisper fondly, before... He falls to his kneees and wraps his arms around the Ninetails' neck, pulling her into a hug! Very - and I do mean VERY - uncharacteristic and untypical for him indeed, but the ruefulness over what occured at Main Street as well as the joy of being reunited with Myra win this time! "Oh dear, Myra, I'm SO SORRY... For what occured and what you had to witness there... NEVER did I mean to leave you behind, Myra, how could I ever do that. So very sorry... Be mad at me all you want, though please do not hold it against me..."

There's a long pause as he two reoncile, as Bern simply enjoys and appreciates the closeness to one of him most trusted and valued magical companions, that underwent Acrowls' training alongside him, that grew and learned with him all these years, that's by his side ever since having been a tiny Vulpix with a single white tail, until: "Please do tell me how I can and could make up to you. Whatever it may be, I shall make amends to fulfill your wish and desire. When, as well as how is still an unwritten tale - though you shall have my word that I will undergo great efforts to make ends meet."

Back to Seddi! Upon having welcomed his trusty kitsune back in his company (she is allowed to stay out of her ball is she desires to do so), Bernhard kinda has to gather his self-comppsure again for a minute or so, saying nothing. Just drinking more tea (second cup by now, Seddi would receive a "Ah well... I do believe you are missing out, but to each their own indeed...") and staring into the distance, an aura of introspection and pondering around him. Smol Spritzee lands on his right shoulder, giving her Master a nuzzle, which he absentmindedly returns.

"The most obvious thing..." As Bernhard says the following, he taps the table with a gauntet'd finger for emphasis, the voice stern yet calm. "Where. Is. That. Wandering. Hurricane. WHAT, by everything that is holy and mighty, has happened to it? *waves to a window* Take a look at the outdoors. There's no trace of it ever having been there and a massive threat to the city... In fact, the folk is jolly and eager, preparing for tomorrow's festivities. Do not get me wrong please, dear Seddi, my relief over THAT matter being dealt with is wide and far, I muuuuuucccchhhhhh appreciate it indeed... The point of 'HOW' and 'WHY' is what is giving me a literal headache. It was YOU who came to us all with the request of fighting it off - so I, perhaps and mayhaps, am right when I say that it is also YOU who could help me understanding this matter. Now aren't you?~ " *stern look as if to stare right into the cowboy's soul*

There is NO anger in Bernhard's voice, neither in his gestures, Seddi is absolutely NOT blamed or similar. In fact, Bernhard is GRATEFUL that the situation with that Malefic Monstrum is dealt with - he kinda just wants to understand. (The moment Seddi would mention or hint of Morgana, Bern would audibly and heavily choke on his tea, and Spritzee would let out an eager chirp.)
