I'm guessing that doesn't work though. Vernon is sidling down through the stands in an attempt to get closer to Munchlax in case he needs defended.

What about "Do you have a name, or something you are called? If we're going to, uh, deal, we should know each other, and I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage." I'm guessing this guy is from the other campaign, so I really don't know exactly what it is, other than the obvious Beliaddon inspiration! And Vernon certainly wouldn't.

"Am I choosing a cost, or something to receive?" If a cost, Vernon will select Transformation. If a gift, Vernon will select Transportation. If no answer, he'll tempt fate again with a coinflip between the two xD

....That's both helpful and not at all. Which seemed on point for a demon that was, all things considered, being remarkably kind, considerate, and patient with a couple of randoms that somehow managed to Summon Them.

Considering the Choice was both Gift and Cost, and I figure that Vernon would probably feel the need to get things to a conclusion of some sort before they spiral completely out of control, I'll treat the demon's answer as effectively Null. So....you end up simply letting chaos reign by letting the demon choose .

Boy, you certainly adore painting a bulleye for Fate, eh?

It seems the demon at least thoroughly enjoyed leaving the decision to It, a wide toothy grin stretching from horn to horn, crinkling their eyes in a manner that was somewhat cute yet looked rather off for what you think should be expected from infernal spawn.

Following that is usually the rules being updated to accommodate and/or ban whatever was pulled.

Accidentally Summoning and Bargaining with a Demon - who you soon learned was a Malefic Monstrum Known As Beliaddon - and coming unscathed indeed sufficiently qualified for a 'Above and Beyond' Spectacle Performance.

You have Learnt the Name of the Demon _______ Beliaddon , and with it can Use It. Only Iron knows what the Name Is - not even I the DM Knows. It is the First Thing They Thought To Call It When They First Beheld It. For what, you are not entirely certain - a question to ask for your Magi friends. Keep it secret, keep it safe, keep it well. In exchange, it has Taken a part of Your Name and made it Theirs - Effects ??? , Fortune Down* , Fire and Darkness, ???, ???, Partially Claimed.

Vern also lost all but 3 Will, and will not earn XP for the next Three Encounters, including this one.

Earnt the Star Prize Award from competing in the Bronze Spectacle Category - you automatically are qualified to compete in any future Spectacle, regardless of Rank or other Factors (Like Silver and Above, or even as a Judge if you wish) . You have also been awarded $3000 Poke, the equivalent prize money for taking First or a Best Of in the Bronze Spectacle.
