It's interesting how some aspects of our characters converged (without us planning them) and others are wildly different.

Agreed. One example is Oz and Bernard be both Scimitars, both be Sky Scimitars, and both have some kind of magical aesthetic: Bernard be a wizard/mage and Oz be Witch like.

I tell this on the message with Phantom but: What is the odds?! What the hell?!

Culturally you are still Magi/Scimitar , but after all but being declared Dead or Lost and abandoning your groups you’re practically the equivalent of a Apostate or even a Heretic to the Scimitars. Taking on a new Identity and fully embracing the life of a proper wandering Witch all but cements that change. Of course if the wrong Scimitar finds out about this…we’ll that would be interesting, yes?

To be fair, Oz has no intention in go back. She does miss her grandparents and all, but it's uncertain is they are even still alive at this point in time. They are sweet people. Oz parents on the other hand? Yikes. I wonder if they could still be considered "human" at this point on time. Knowing them, they probably already have a new son or daughter in their family as a substitute to Oz.

Got me thinking if they felt anything with their daughter dying. Maybe there still something human on them, but that not something Oz will want to find out. Besides, she already have have her own family with her sisters, so it's not something Oz will miss. And be free from her family and outside of Sky Scimitars, she can pursue the art of medical healing and her dream in be a medic. As Phantom marvelously put in her message:
