Despite the headstart and the boundless energy all children seem to posses it was trival for you to catch up and scoop her up before she ran into REAL danger. Not that she made it easy, what with her wriggling like a Wurmple and repeatedly kicking you in the shins. Ow.

"Let go, meanie! Daddy will cast bad spells if you don't!"

From there its relatively easy to get her to a life guard and dump the sugary brat off with them to watch, if you want to be done with this ASAP. However, that comment of hers....given all the frankly magical malarky happening you wouldn't put it past you for Fate to throw you another curve ball if you can't resolve things personally. Hm...

Darren will stick around to explain things to her dad; he doesn't need any long-term repercussions for a good deed. (if it would be a separate encounter, can happen off-screen or as a minor encounter)
