You find a life guard and tell them to look for the girl's father as you want nearby and keep her from running off, much to her displeasure. The old man was skeptical at first, but surprisngly the girl was honest about things, if thoroughly sulky. "Daddy says lies are bad. Don't break your word, or your word breaks you!" is all she had to say, much to the cooing approval of your own cuddlebug. Your Smore, feeling a bit of kinship, decided to sneak and share a Rage Candy Bar with the lass, much to their surprised and delight. ....They didn't even mind the bit of dragon blood on it, much to your possible slight horror and disgust...

Eventually, though, a Pokemon approaches where you were - a large, tall, and most venerable looking Florges you've ever seen, looking worried and tired. Then -

"Daddy!"

- the girl manages to dart past you and slam into the giant flower with a hug, startling them (him?) for a moment before they light up and trill a note of pure happiness, lifting the girl up and twirling them around.
