Original Post linked here. Sorry again that this took me so long - a mixture of needing time to come up with the perfect response, an exhausting day at work and PC issues were the reason for that. But that makes the joy and serotonin of progress even more sweet, now doesn't it~

Bernhard would indeed summon his newest magical companion-Mon, that very creature he deemed an Umbrelong, to his side for the officials to confirm whatever suspicions they may have - and promptly prevented her with everything he could bring up to give him another long (and painful, ouch!) lick across his face as a greeting. "....Please don't. Not in front of the government's officials, I'm BEGGING you, dear Equinox...."

He lets these very officials confirm their suspisions and do their tests, for as long as needed. For that long Bern would just stand there, collected as ever, a stable position and arms crossed, waiting.... Doesn't seem like their alarm bells of ALL SORTS going off and wild faced him much...?

Only when that one official from earlier, that one looking rather pale, sweaty, and very, very befuddled, came up to him once more, Bernhard would turn his attention towards 'em, curiosity having gotten the better of him. He gave him a look™ and a glance™. You better have important reasons to keep a Magus of his position wait, my dear man...

And what they had to say caused Bernhard to stare them down into the very abyss. Stare into their very soul, for long enough to make things awkward and uncomfortable.

....Then he turns his gaze towards Equinox, who likely reciprocates his look with a curious (fond?) look of her/their own.

...THEN Bernhard slowly, painfully slowly, turns his look around, and continues to stare at that official with might and a death glare. With quite the unimpressed(!) and non-chalant(!!) expression, not even a frown or so was noticable - only Bern's corners of mouth twitched a little. Damn, how is able to keep THAT cool and collected over having received the news of now having a hecking NUCLEARMON among his rangs is a thing and achievement on its own.... Only a slight "Hmmm...." escapes him.

Someone award Bernhard with an oscar please. Hey Oz, way for you to learn from Bern in terms of self-awareness and self-confidence.

It takes quiiite a while until he speaks up again, voice calm and clear. He lets out a deep sigh at first, complete with hand on forehead and everything. "Well, of course you may ask WHY I am having a...stable, you say?..... Nuclear Type Pokemon among my companions, permission given and answer happily provided from my side. Thing is, you see... Ah, fate and fortune perhaps? A streak of luck (or misfortune, depending how you interpret it)? Coincidence? Me having been at the right place at the right time, I guess?~ You see...." He gives Equinox a gentle headpat, with the gauntlet'd hand.

"The question that is bothering dear me is LESS so 'why is it among my magical companions' and much MUCCCHHHH more so 'whhhhyyyy, by Acrowls and Arceus name, was that creature walking down Main Street yesterday like it totally owned the place'. That is the utter truth, go take out a polygraph if you wish. Perhaps~, mayhaps~, if you want to put it THAT way, it was of utter luck and most fortunate that it crossed mine and my signature partner's (Zephy's) path as we were just released from the local hospital... And mayyyyhaps~ and perrrrhaps~ *trilling these words* it was of evern MORE luck and fortune that it promptly took a liking on me and...especially a particular liking on my signature partner indeed. *light cough of embarassment, then another deep sigh* I do dread thinking of the possibility of what could have happened if it would be on the loose and all free to conceive offsprings. Let's not...think of what a DESASTER that would be, please? Okay? Fine, thank you."

Then a tiny smile and utterly confident smile forms on Bern's face, one that tells that he's somewhat pleased with himself. "Well, if you want to put it THAT way, my dear man... Lucky you that I was around to deal with the situation. Lucky and of utmost fortune for you and the whole city of Bayhama, is it not?~~ ...Now go. Do your calls, I shall wait in anticipation~~"

While Bernhard waits, he every now and then throws glances at that very creature, that Umbrelong he named 'Equinox'. Ponders, thinks of this and that. It pleases him that the officials seemingly trust him with such a power and might of a Nuclearmon among his ranks... Yes it does trigger his 'you flatter me so~'-senses in a way. And heck yes, he WILL do everything in his might to tame and handle such power and creature. Have Equi behave and listen to him at best. With enough time and proper discipline it shall work indeed... Or so he hopes and wishes. Time will tell. Hmm.... Now he does undestand WHY her Special is locked out of his gauntlet though, indeed. And why her licks burn and cause pain... Makes sense. Still not optimal, but he prefers to be safe than sorry in this case.

With glee and a polite "My utter gratitude~" Bernhard accepts the box, it being lined with lead causes him to be somewhat hesitant to open it. Nox helped however, and promptly deemed its content her/their/its own - Bernhard only managed to get a short glance at the brightly blue gemstone. But what he DID saw, he actually....was both afraid and fascinated of... The officials were not lying on helping him empower Equi even FURTHER, if that wasn't necessary in the first place (BIG and MASSIVE questionmark here!)

Bernhard was THAT pleased that he actually let Equinox nuzzle his face, a pleased expression in it now. "You like this gemstone, don't you?~ How sweet and dear...~ It is indeed just for you. Please do take good care of it, will you?~ Hehe...~" She receives another gentle headpat.


Before we'll go - and have Nox retreat into her (for now a Poke-)ball - he turns towards that government's offical that actually handed him the box with the [b]Radiant Topaz[/b] (I like that name a lot!). Giving them a deed and grateful bow. "My utter gratitude for that treasure. Pleasure to make business with you and your people indeed - more so on this fine day of the Festival. ...Oh, and concering your words of 'unknown origin' of my Umbrelong, dear Nox here - I shall look into that further. Perhaps LEARN about their origin. (Read: Contact Sylvia about it sooner than later). ...If you could, if possible, prepare the necessary paperwork for me to officially be this radiant creature's Master and Wielder, I'd be pleased to sign and handle these for you." He actually lets out another sigh, it's unsure whether it is out of stress of what will be or of pride of having such a creature among his companions. "Too late to go back now, I fear... Umbrelong chose me, and I answered this call. Well until then, have a great day, sayonara and goodbye for now until we hear from each other again~"

And off Bernhard goes, still in a good mood. He's feeling empowered, strong - and confident that is he remains careful and attentive on what he does, he will be fine handling a stable Nuclearmon. ... About that part however:

A portion of said Energy can later possibly be Extracted and used by a competent Scientist or Magi....if they are brave and Skilled enough to do so without consequences. 

....let's not think that far yet. Bernhard IS skilled and masterful, no doubt he is, but he's not crazy nor power-hungry.


Equinox now sits on 4 Happiness and 3 Loyalty to Bernhard! This pleases me to no end. And yes I knowwww I haven't even added her to my charasheet yet. I'm so sorry, busy or exhausted, had no proper time to do so yet... Tomorrow is my free day though, I'll make sure to find some time for adding her properly!

Most would consider dating and courting Morgana to be pretty insane , dear…

Meant more as a joke and lighthearted than serious, but in a weak attempt to defend myself here, she fell in love with Bernhard FIRST, lol. Not his fault she interpreted him being polite and kind to the fine lady among the Scimitar Council as initiating courtship. (Well, not that he objected later on....)



...If Bernhard wouldn't know better, he'd be utterly terrified and massively afraid of Morgana letting out a, how you put it, 'a mirthful chuckle', for it STILL had a bad vibe to it and very literally spelled 'you are doomed, poor creature, for you caused the WRONG person to laugh. At the same time, it was pure and blissfull music to his ears, hearing her laugh like that; paired with a most indulgent smile (damn, has it always been such a sweet and beautiful sight!?) for him aaaaaannnd to top it with her cupping his face and planting a kiss~ on his very forehead.....

.....................Congratulations, you had Bernhard melt~away~ in pure bliss. Figuratively, he's now a lovestruck puddle of unidentifiable colorless goo lined with a gauntlet and a skyblue Scimitar robe. Morgana quite LITERALLY had him in the palm of her hand, may Arceus have mercy on what she'll DO with him.

Her words of...her 'hardly can afford or accord missing spending a wine-fine moment with him' rang back in his mind. Combined with 'during these most momentous, fabulous festivities' even more so.... Actually... Uhm... Oh come on, Bernhard, when was the last time you........ Way too long ago, probably. But, oh boy, does he remember every splendid and precious moment shared with her, how could he EVER forget....~

....Oh dear. Oh well. Oh no, perhaps....? Or more like 'Oh yes'???

He leans a little into Morgana, a tender~ smile on his face and an even MORE tender and sensual tone in his voice. He whispers to her, makes sure his words reach ONLY and SOLELY her. "Well then... Well spoken and put into words, my dear and lovely Morgana....｡.:*☆♡ .......... How about...we go and have our VERY OWN and UTTERLY PERSONAL festival?~ Just the two of us, in complete privacy and of utmost class and discretion indeed....~~~♡ Not a single sould shall know, nor WILL know, not ever... Do not worry or be afraid, my dear chosen fae lady and beloved (he swallows the 'utterly forbidden'-part)  darling, for you do know I'll be as GENTLE~ as ever and take good~ care of you... As I ALWAYS do..."

He lets out a sigh suddenly. Bernhard is looking TIRED, WEARY. Afraid of what will come in terms of the voyage through Sutalör, you could say perhaps. "Before wanderlust does sweep me off and and into places far and wide once more, before I no doubt will be utterly entangled in adventure, events and no doubt danger, before I again shall see and find out what Miss Fortune, Lady Luck and Father Fate have in store for dear me and my trusted magical Pokemon-companions, I.... *gentle nuzzle*...do desire to be as CLOSE to you as I can or could ever be once more. One last time, let us not regreat a thing shall I not make it out in once piece...."

And THEN he...leans in and places a featherlight and eversoft kiss on Morgana's very lips. One that shall take her breath away, and shall leave her yearning for more. *indulgent smile* "Tell me thus only, my dearest and beloved....~~" And NOW he goes even further by (damn Bern, what has gotten into you today, what sort of tea did you had again for breakfast? You sure it wasn't spiked with pheromones?) picking her up to carry her bridal style in his arms, allowing her to wap her deinty arms around his neck or shoulder. He gets out that red rose she gifted him yesterday (yes he kept it), and gently puts it into Morgana's hair in the color of brilliant rubies that shinned just as bright, ".....Do you consent?~"

Course of Action:
....You already, know, Windos.  Bernhard going full Romeo, GO! A PM is headed your way. 

Nox seemed both confused and indifferent to your pleas, simply winding back-and-forth by your sides and brushing their/her head against you every so often. They/she are not in The Mood ® right now, though, so no amorous behavior from her thank Magic.

You posturing and thinly veiled and domineering disdain and judgement works WONDERS at making the official you're speaking to shit bricks (metaphorically!) and the rest sweat harder. The sheer PRESSURE you exude, Magically and by the very way you carry yourself as a Powerful Scimitar, is more than enough to make these fickle politicians bend over backwards to try and appease your apparent DISPLEASURE. After all, a Nucmon roaming Bayhama free before you 'intervened' to fix their shortsighted failings is ground for the government to get reemed by other regions, let alone the public and their own allies!

So it should come as no surprise they pretty much decide to 'leave the matter settled' and scarpered to rightfully fulfill the Boon you most definitely deserve, really not wanting to Rock the boat and/or risk what would count as censure from a High Council Master Scimitar. Though Sutalor's government and the Scimitars are on paper separated, their close ties and deeply interconnected relationship makes high ranking or important people have a lot (perhaps undue) weight no matter which side they're on.

In other words: the officials are thanking their lucky Stars you're being so reasonable and calm about things, when you could probably make their lives hell and/or extort them over this. Ah...sometimes being a bigwig yourself can be fun and satisfying like that....

Don't have much more to add about the Gifting Scene, though the officials are more nervous and much more overtly groveling about things. Well, sans the gift giver, who had remarkably regained their cool and was doing their damn best to keep some decorum and standing with you.

On a side note: were you not who you were then the officials likely would have confiscated your Nucmon for public safety. Thank Magic you're high enough on the Totem Pole and have a strong reputation that you're being entrusted to 'handle' it while the government is turning a blind eye to several international laws an 'unauthorized' person like you are violating by doing so.

Indeed Nox does, almost earning you a saucy Lick to the face you stop by a quick and firm headpat. From how excited she was getting about such a WONDERFUL gift...Zephy is going to have her work cut out for her later.

Your decision to officially undertake investigating Umbrelong's origins and get the proper paperwork to fully and legally own them/her is meet with quick and relived nods from all involved. Letting you take care of things is SO much more convenient for them and less likely for it to (perhaps literally) blow up in all of your faces. ANYTHING to appease you and head off public/international concern and backlash were top priority here, oh DEFINATELY!

While leaving Nox tries to lead you somewhere quiet so they/she could thank you more 'thoroughly' , but some firm denials and reminders of your girlfriend gets them to ultimately concede to leave things be with a huff and grumble. Lovely as your new and all too real Nuclear Option is, their personality and strong affectionate habits were going to be the death of your or your dignity yet. Not helping was your Partner's mental giggles and jeers to 'indulge' the lox a little. Zephy, not helping...!

Most would have not reciprocated and instead tried running screaming for the hills and whomever could ward off the Fairy Queen, but I suppose you are 'built different' as the kids like to say these days.


Even IF you knew better your Fair Lady's moodiness is Infamously Legendary worldwide, so fickle, Strange and horrible it can be. Your Bond and closeness does a lot to shield you from the worst of it, but at times you too have much to be concerned about if her state of mind or action are particularly....bold or eccentric.

Not that is the case here, as your transformation into a besotted puddle of well Loved Magi proves no end of fond amusement and utter joyful content for Morgana.

"Oh wow, ho you, how dearly so fondly I adore what you plainy state and stare ~"


Speaking of which : you rather UPFRONT suggestion visibly takes the Fairy Queen aback, looking at you with no small amount of wonder and amazement at you being so Bold and thoroughly charming and heartachingly poetic...

...Your Kiss cuts off any immediate response from her. A long and intense kiss despite your gentleness, as once she got over the shock she grabbed you with both hands and pulled you in tightly, emboldening the simple Kiss into a searingly passionate one that takes both your breaths away. When she pulled away Morgana was panting, her pale checks flushed pink and her eyes literally shining with Love and amorous Intent most Pure and Potent.

"Oh you devlish, magical rogue. I accept your accord, my dear Bernhard."

Then, still holding you close with one arm she makes a gesture in another -

*SNAP]~!*

- and you're suddenly in your bedroom in the Mageocracy Embassy.

On the bed.

Liberated.

Everything is ready suiting both your preferences.

And one stunningly beautiful woman, with whom you love with all your heart, straddling you with a most Fae and Hungry L O O K ...

....and the rest, as they say, is history.

When you wake up after your.....joining with Morgana, you find yourself resting alone in bed, a wonderfully prepared lunch/dinner for you off on your dining table, and Zephy grumpy yet silent about it all.

As you go to check out the meal you find a Note with a Pink Rose beside it. Opening it, it simply read:

"Thank you for the most wonderous time ~<3 May we ever and ever have many many more."
