The Tentacles of PURE HATE are CUT, completely and utteredobliterated. Akamu and Darren take 2 Extra Lethal Damage - Needs 6 HP worth of Healing to remove 1 tick of it, and each tick cause + 1 Pain; their are other effects, but not in this instance

Ecclessia, who was indeed successfully Released (missed the Lola's arms, HATE!) rather than try to Bite the tencacle opted to Catch her Trainer and speed on over to Seddi's side. Her usually surely attitude is completely missing - oh no, she is abundently clear on WHAT is Threatening everyone is will put her attitude aside for it to be Dealt With.

Darren lands right on the edge of the sandpit, and already the HATEFUL flow of it was draging him down and in.

Fotuna dodges the Move thanks to her Dark/Flying typing!

Said Raven wastes no time - she swoops over to GRAB Darren before the HATEFUL Pit can drag them UNDER.

The HATEFUL Pit can't hold onto Darren and he's WRETCHED free, taken to the skies by the Witch of Fortune!!!

The HATEFUL MAW looks ready to unleash yet ANOTHER Devesating Move, but Seddi and the others have just enough time (1 Action each) to DO SOMETHING about it! What will it be?!?!?!?

Seddi braces himself as the very ground quakes beneath everyone! 

But after all is said and done, he smirks.  His plan worked.  Now for Part 2:  Recall his partners and vamoose with the goods!  He signals Fortuna to drop Darren off with him. Time for everyone to leave!

"Akamu, start runnin'!  Sorry, Flutter Mane, but you lose.  Glinda, Teleport!  Get me, Darren and that critter's Pokeball outta here!"

If Flutter Mane is no longer in the vicinity, then maybe the magic will stop.  He'll have to come back for Akamu once Darren's been delivered safely to the Center.
