Vern does chip in behind the scenes throughout the upcoming event. Pwee's head becomes a giant mortarboard, carrying cement or sand or perhaps clean water. Or even the wounded. Mostly, they work on barricades and sandbags and such.

Time: Eve of the Conflict

You and your big critters are perhaps the first to respond to the threat, as you help people evacuate the portions of the Beach the.....CREATURE has not yet moved over to yet, as well as start the very beginnings of creating defensive structures and 'slow down' measures in the large strech of the Beach the.....MONSTER was slowly but surely plowing towards. Such efforts were demanding and not a little Exhausting, but you or your Partner did not falter once - if anything you felt spurred on and on, worker harder and harder, quicker and quicker, better and better at getting the area clear and ready for those that would FIGHT this.....DEMON.

 Eventually, something started to....happen. More and more Ace Trainers, supporters, emergency responders, Rangers, and a couple of Military Officers start arriving to the Area you've been working HARD in clearing of Non-Combatants and fortying it as much as possible. Guess a few civies noticed what you were trying to do, and like a good person decided to funnel some of the incoming forces to help you too! Soon its not just you setting the stage, but a whole calvelcade of the best and worst Bayhama had to offer against this nightmarish Spawn of Malefid HATE and S p i t e.  

In short order the part of the beach would become what would be The Primary Staging Area to go and Face Off against HATEFUL SANDLOSSUGEIST. The power of cooperation is a beautiful thing, and at the very heart of every Settler's Drive to Surive their home.

While taking a small break in a sand bunker you made, you feel someone approaching. Looking up from your bottled water (courtesy of a Ranger), you find The Old Sailor Lady , Cigar absent and grim resolve plastered from ear to ear.
