I do have an idea for the erratic group if Akamu and Oz take them on.
The terrain is weird and random so we'd establish a secure place to bunch up and cast group support (safeguard etc) then bombard the boss with ranged fire, in that case copying draco meteor would make sense.
With the officers support we could hold a defensive line to safely fire from, even if only a few rounds it'd be effective, the Blade Lineage is probably well off against an unorganized group and can pick off stragglers.
Gloomtail may want to do his own thing but this allows for him to pick off rogue sands with the option for covering fire to support.
