The main benefits of taking the deal is immediately putting an end to the Super Boss' BS and turning back the clock on all the henious shit it pulled, as well as the Boon, Heals, and (for Seddi) a way to neatly solve things while advancing his own research path nicely. The main drawbacks are you're character's immortal SOUL is now on the hook as collaterol for a whoooole bunch of stuff, and failure to get any of it done before dying or fucking it up is implied not to be in your PC's short or long term interests.
