Right now I believe only Spirt/Oz is actively searching for help, but if anyone else wants to 'join in' or 'grab' one of the Randoms for private chats that is okay with me.(...)

Rarity: (5)(5) +*1 Rare!!
Type(s) : *Rolls* ...Oh dear.
Power: Rolling with Advantage: (99) + 50 ....Oh my.
??? the Lv ??? the *Toxicroak. This Mon and their....partner melted out of the shadows to greet one of the party, timing their appearance perfectly so that said meeting was private. The grey-haired person - hair slicked back, wearing a dark grey scarf, pitch black single-lens ray ban sunglasses, and a bizarre black suit/ninja outfit - wordlessly offers their services...all for a simple price.
Ability: Poison Touch
Item: You don't recognize it...
Moves: Unknown
Surprises!: Unknown
Checks/Reqs needed to Recruit Trainer: None; the Group simply will owe them and their boss' a Favor (Just One, to be paid back by any individual of the Group), two if this Trainer and/or their Mon perishes in the upcoming Fight. They do not elaborate on what said Favors entail - only that your group should be capable of what is asked of them.

.....Bernhard would literally and visibly flinch away massively  upon that...person melting out of the shadows to greet him. Even more so while he's vulnerable at max aka unable to cast any instant spells to defend himself! The good part however, he currently has Myra, Nirix, and Zephy (visible) out with him, plus Steleene nearby, so he's not completely defenseless. Just more defenselss than he personally likes, enjoys and is used to.

No words are needed at first, he's just sorta taken aback by...them wordlessly offering their services? The 'how' and 'why' interest him, but there are more dire things to handle and discuss first and foremost. Bern appears grateful and honored that he somehow caught the attention of a whimsical...person like this one here! (Even if he didn't really contribute much to the fight in his books. Or more like, much less than he expected and desired to)

"Well... Hello and greetings to...you. *more curious starring* Thank you for approaching me in particular and offering your...aid, I guess. It's, uhm, perhaps much needed after I have to drop out... *deep sigh, looking down, defeated* Do tell me please, can I count on you to seek revenge against that Hateful Being in my name, avange what one of the creatures that fell under its effect has done to me? The...circumstances prevent me from doing so directly, yet I THIRST for vengance indeed... Drastic violence is fair game, and I trust that you are clever enough to not get yourself actively killed. Your aid will be remembered, and you do have my word on a favour indeed. Whatever that may turn out to be..."

Oh, and is it okay to ask to see that Toxicroak for short before marching into the fight? Or is the person's vibe more of wanting to keep it secret until the actual showdown? (which will be respected) And what's Zephy's first impression/thoughts on that...person, do they seem trustworthy?

If you're wondering about when this scene takes place chronologically, it happens a little bit after your heart-to-heart with your team but before they get the chance to respond.

---

Said person notably pauses as they get a good look at you - you can't get a good look at their expressions, what with them being obscured by glasses and scarf, but your recently heightened sense of Empathy and more than modest Insight seems to suggest they're surprised to see you?

As for the 'wordlessly offers services' part, they simple pull out what looks to be a sheet of paper from.... somewhere, before handing it over for you or one of your Mons to take. Reading it, you find it is essentially a contract (including a spot to sign) of sorts that outlines what their Offer is: In exchange for a Favor rendered at a later date - or Two if they or their Partner Falls in your Service - this individual will Assist in the Fight against the Super Boss, be it offering their Mon for them to command or directly participating themselves. No names for the 'agent' or who they represent are given - they're redacted, in fact - and the lettering seems to be typed out.

Your greetings simply get an incline of their head, while your question earns a more decisive nod - perhaps even a flicker of approval, if the glint of their sunglasses is anything to go off on.

They're also fine with showing their Toxicroak - and boy howdy is it a UNIT. Big, burly, and BUFF, this pugilistic amphibian is the very definition of One Bad Hombre - this Mon is easily in the upper echelons of Elite Tier, if not actually Champion Class altogether. Similar to their Master they were stoic and affectless in their demeanor and character, simply standing by the agent's side in ever-present Alert and readiness.

Zephy is COMPETELY stonewalled when it comes to actually getting a deeper Insight into these two, and so is Myra and Nirix for that matter. Though not an natural Empath like some other species your artistically inclined Muse was usually pretty good at sussing out the character and emotions of others; not so in these two cases. The sheer disconnect they had from.... anything was unnerving beyond belief - were it not for the fact these two were standing before you the chimeric birdmouse would swear they just don't register at all in those senses of hers.

This was NOT normal in the slightest, and she conveys as such to you along with the above. "Bern....be careful. These two.....something isn't right with them. I don't think they mean harm, but...I can't get anything other than 'Business' from them."

However, this is not the end of things, for eventually the agent takes note of your missing hand and Gauntlet, so carefully concealed until they managed to discern what was up with your furitive postuure. This seemed to actually cause them to stiffen and reel back just ever so slightly, clearly not expecting this development. For a moment they stood still, as if in thought....

...Before they pulled out another piece of paper, quickly but neatly wrote something down on it, and offered it to you. It read as thus: If you are willing, they would perform the surgery necessary to Re-Attach your Gauntlet to your arm, as well as do everything they could to fine tune and even upgrade it slightly. In Exchange, they request your newest Capture Steelene the Mawile to re-coup the costs of their own equipment that is needed for the job. They can't promise it won't be a Painless or without a toll on your body - especially if you want it done quickly so you could rejoin the Fight (if you Wish) - but they can guarantee they can get it re-attached and in working order.

How can they be so sure? If asked, they wordlessly roll up a sleeve of their left arm, revealing a black-grey prosthetic arm of their own. It was not a Gauntlet, but the level of sophistication, quality, similarity to a real hand, and rugged practicality strongly suggests this arm of theirs was on similar standing design and tech level wise. Which in of itself is very surprising: the Scimitars more or less have cornered the market with it comes to prosthetics, especially their own proprietary and exclusive Magi-Tech variants, but this most foreign one display by this agent could be a peer to them.

In addition, they bring out a BIG suitcase from....somewhere on their person and open it up to show you - within it was various medical, surgical, and mechanical supplies all neatly organized and ready for use at a moment's notice. You can tell this was some sort of field kit to treat injuries of all kinds, including damages to prosthetics, though how much crossover between their tech and yours is unknown. You're fairly certain that they could fix you up from what you've seen, however, and with Zephy's own spirited aid and pointers from you it likely would happen fast and without any major screw-ups.

Of course, this is all moot if you don't trust the agent enough to help you out in this area or don't want to give away your newest acquisition. The question is now thus: are you willing to Accept their Help with your Gauntlet?
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
