Breeding will relatively cost less time.
Probability wise: Using radar chain, the default shiny rate is 1/1024. that would mean you'll have to work with an easily breaking chain, 1/1024 probability for shiny and probability for HA.
Breeding with masuda on the other hand yields 1/171 probability for shiny. since the chance of passing HA from female is 60%, that too would mean it's a 6/10 probability, grand totaling in 6/1710 or 1/285.
With that in mind, you have a 1/285 chance on getting a shiny HA devimp with breeding as opposed to a lower than 1/1024 chance of shiny HA Devimp with radar chain
