Almost got badge #5, but...

I've managed to beat every trainer in the fifth gym except Tiko.  Unfortunately for me, my two Water-types (Sponaree/34 and Folerog/30) are under-leveled compared to Tiko's birds; and my Mystery Gift Jerbolta has only reached 26th level.  (Using Metalynx in a Fire gym is downright suicidal, so I locked him in the PC for now.)  Is there a decent place (other than Baykal Forest itself) to train up my party so they're good enough to fight Tiko without getting torched?  Please let me know!
