When Karen was excited in such news Kogeki wave his hands. "Dont look at me. I totally broken. I spend most of my money. I have zero money."

Kogeki look at the two items in front of him and ask the Kecleon. "That Orb and that accessory. What they are? What they can do? And more importantly, how much they cost?"

The Kecleon claps his claws together in delight. "Ah, I'm so glad you asked! That orb, dear customer, is a Petrify Orb! Use that, and you'll leave all of your foes in the same room positively stunned! It could be yours for only a mere 600 Poké!"

"And as for the accessory, that is a Twist Band! Wrap that scarf tightly around your neck, and the constriction will help you retain your focus, preventing the opposition from reducing your innate power! I will part with that for 1200 Poké!"

The tunnel eventually opens up into a surprisingly well lit room. Slightly on edge after the previous encounter, the party approaches warily. Marcus looks very confused at first, and decides to take a quick peek ahead of the rest of the group. His posture relaxes and he perks up a bit as soon as he sees what's ahead. The tunnel opens up into a large, square room. Numerous torches line the walls, and four more tall torches stand at the corners of a pink, patterned carpet. On the carpet lay many items, and in the middle stands a Kecleon! The tracks that the party have been following wind around the edges of the carpet and through another tunnel.

"Welcome, welcome to the Kecleon Shop! Need any supplies for your adventuring exploits? I've gathered many items that you may find useful!"
Karen squeals in excitement! "Oh my goodness, a shop?! In a mystery dungeon?! Ooh, do we have any money? We should totally buy something if we do!"

(Yes, further down the tunnel/following the tracks was the way I wished to go. Good decision to flash forward to the next room already!)

Ziggy Kee SCREECHES upon coming along a smol shop of all things down in this hidden mine!! In an instant he's on the carpet and investigates ( = sniffs and nudges) the items Kecleon is selling, his collecter's heart jumping out of eager and excitement. "Hi there Kecleon, nice to see ya here 'f all places!!1~ Those are some NOICE things ya've got... Do tell pwease, what will happen if I nom that juicy Sitrus Berry? How much for it?? An' where did ya got it from? A-all my cash's safely stored 'n Duskull's ghostly hands right now, but askin' should be fine, right?" ( ÒωÓ)و☆

With a pleading, almost flirty glimmer in his deep-red eyes: "Saaaay, could dear-me p'tentially interest ya in buyin ' some neat coal I found earlier?~ It's mine an' I like it, but I would part with some of it just because it's you...~!"

Pyra's first reaction to seeing a Keckleon setting up shop in the mines was confusion: how and why did the colorful reptile do this? Was it not a much better, safer idea to buy and sell things outside of Mystery Dungeons, where you were not subjected to it's arcane rules and the local (and often viscous) denizens?

Once she looked at the Items on display, though, that cleared away all speculation in a burst of curiosity, and she would have went over to ask the salesmon what they were if Kogeki and Kee didn't beat her to the Bullet Punch. As it stood, once she overheard the details she still was interested, but elected to remain back with the bulk of the group. She was fresh out of Poke and didn't want to part with any of her Items in her Bag to barter for them, so why bother the Keckleon for no good reason? Theft was an option, but for one she frankly didn't feel it was necessary or desirable (in her own special way), and for two Dax and Marcus would probably get upset again if their spat over Mightless Conk's stash was any indication.

(Quick Question: Is Marcus mostly by himself right now like he's been for a bit, or is he hanging out close near Karen and Dax, where they can easily overhear stuff?)

Marcus is examining Kecleon's wares with interest along with Kee, Karen, and Kogeki. He didn't bring any of his own cash with him either, but he nods to Kee when the Zigzagoon enquires with Kecleon about the value of the coal.

"Ah, the Sitrus Berry! Yes, that's quite the powerful healing item! It's much stronger than an Oran Berry! You'll feel fully restored in no time at all after eating that! Though I can't make any promises that it will continue to be as effective if you become particularly powerful adventurers! Where I found this is a trade secret, but maybe you'll find some secrets of your own one day!" Kecleon winks. "Twice the healing, twice the cost! 100 Poké for that Sitrus Berry!"

"As for the coal, I can buy that for about...hmmmm...20 Poké per piece. Not terribly common raw materials, but raw materials all the same. I'm sure I could find a buyer for it, however."

Ziggy Kee GASPS at the wording 'quite the powerful healing item'! ☆ヽ(°〇° )ﾉ He disappears into his guitar bag for a few moments, he's hear rummaging and squirming inside of it, then eventually he returns and drops five units of coal right there in front of Kecleon with satisfied huffing and an eager smile. "Deal done, ehehehe!~ Pr'cious raw m'terial for a p'recious juicy berry!"

That will leave Kee with 2 units of coal himself. He's innerly laughing and chuckling at how FAST he has found a usage for the pretty black stones he has gathered up just shortly ago!

Daxter shrugs. "Honestly, love. I don't really care for who you're growing to be. The way it's going, you might end up like those jerkbags in Team Artificers. I'm not trying to make you into what I think is good. Maybe I was, at first. But not anymore. When I see someone doing something I don't like, you better believe I'm gonna let them know. I tried to make you see things my way yesterday, and it looked like it was working for a little while, but you seemed to change your mind before I could get anywhere. I'll settle for you not treating every opponent like shit. That's probably not gonna happen either, but at least I can and fix any fences that you knock down if I'm there.

There's always a reason for someone doing something, and I prefer to understand that before I start judging them on what they've done. It's what I'd want anyone to do for me. It's pretty clear that I don't trust you to not end up like Team Artificers, but it doesn't mean I don't trust you. You've proved that you're willing to do whatever it takes to protect the rest of the team, which is pretty admirable. I trust you to have my back, and you can trust me to have yours. Just don't count on any more than that."

Kecleon's shop causes Daxter pause in puzzlement as he looks around at the absurd location of the shop. "Kecleon, mate. This is one weird place to have your shop. We've been attacked by quite a few Pokemon around here, and we saw a little lizard dude get blasted to kingdom come by something else we couldn't even see. You telling me that those kinds of things doesn't bother you?"

Daxter listens as Kecleon describes the weird looking items, and his eyes widen as he hears about the orb. He, like the others had also left his cash with the Duskull, but the orb would be a very useful item to have. His hands flex almost involuntarily when Kecleon looks away to talk to Kee, but he chooses to keep them to himself. Doesn't seem fair to just take this Kecleon dudes's stuff. He seems pretty nice, and he charges fair prices. Nope, not happening.

Pyra doesn't look too enthused by the aquatic salamander's easy rebuttal, as he all but confirmed that A) she was right about him (at least at first) and his attitude towards her, and B) he was deadset against Team Artificers and their ways, which was bound to cause problems in the future. Quite disheartening to see your worst suspensions come to light, and especially in so casual a manner....

His remark on her treatment towards their enemies earns him a small huff and terse smile- 'why should the group, let alone herself, spare any compassion or care for those that dared harm them,' goes the unspoken question. Honestly, between the two of them, he was the one that was more unreasonable and rash when it came to his dealings with opponents and adversaries. 'Guilty until proved innocent or forgiven' is at least a safe and consistent viewpoint for such foes, and unlike most others she was under no illusions as to whom deserved her love and devotion to.

The rest of Dax's comments, however, got the lil' fiendess to perk up a little. By the end of his little speech she still looked a bit despondent, but now she aura of sad but content acceptance about her as she nodded to him.

"Very well and okay, Dax. Naught I see any problems or incorrectness with Team Artificer's ways, no, nor do I care for the opinions and reasons of those not my beloved friends. Do not understand why you insist on such unnecessary kindness, to hold such unneeded animosity towards a fellow group we should not provoke. But, yet, if we can trust each other in just one area.....that will be enough for me."

Kecleon cocks his head, stares curiously at the Charmander, then shrugs. "Why should it bother me? If they leave me and my shop alone, then it is of no concern to me."
