[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Flygon looks away from the crowd for a second and down at the pokemon addressing him directly.  "Ah, Omega Seekers and Night Wardens.  Good timing.  The Guildmaster has called an urgent meeting.  All teams that are members of the Guild need to send at least one representative to attend.  That, and the fact that the local kids found an unconscious pokemon on the beach this morning that nobody can identify seems to have gotten the whole town in a bit of a stir.  You should go in. We're just waiting on..."

Flygon's interrupted by the sound of one of the townsfolk in the crowd yelping in surprise.

"Hey, watch where you're going!"

"Oops, sorry!  Didn't see you there!"

*B U M P*

Another pokemon cries out, but they sound a bit angrier.  It's clearly one of Machamp's Machop workers.

"Hey, watch it!  Or are you trying to do this on purpose?!"

"Whoops, sorry again!  I'm just trying to find the local guild!  It is this way, right?"

"...*sigh*, what is it now?  Move aside, everyone, move aside.  NO.  FIGHTING."

The crowd parts to let a pokemon through to the front of the guild at Flygon's command, though some of the townsfolk seem to grumble about it.  Flygon peers into the crowd to see who is causing all the ruckus.  "And you are?  You're not here to cause trouble, are you?"

The pokemon is tall, yellow with black stripes on his neck and ears, he has a tail with a red orb on the end, and he's wearing a badge (though it's a different shape to the Adventurer Badges).  He walks forward and waves hello.

"Oh, goodness, no.  I'm here for the emergency meeting.  You may already know me as..."

He strikes a pose!




"The Dashing Wanderer!"

The Dashing Wanderer!: Wandering Ampharos - Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

Flygon just gives the Ampharos a skeptical look.  "Uh huh.  And how do I know you're here for the meeting and not just bumping into everyone you see?  Or rather, don't see."

"Oh, do I really have to spell it out for you?  Fine, fine."  He points to his badge.  "I believe my second in command is already here.  She should be wearing the same badge as me.  Steel type pokemon.  I assume she probably told you I was coming?"

"Well, now that you mention it...yes, there is someone here who fits that description.  Though all she told me about her superior was that I would 'know him when I see him.'  *sigh*...alright, you can go in.  Omega Seekers and Night Wardens, you should head inside too.  Make sure this Ampharos gets to where he needs to go."

Ampharos looks down at the small pokemon nearby.  "Oh!  I didn't see you there!  Silly me!  Are you members of the Guild here?  This is the Adventurer's Guild, right?"

Flygon facepalms.

Humm. Urgent meeting - That immediately catches Ziggy Kee's curiosity. "Weird, given how none 'f us r'ceived word of tha Guildmaster callin' for an urgent meetin'." He shrugs. "But nah, we're here anywae, so!~ Urgent meetin' first, goin' on adventures next, yesss! ( ÒωÓ)و☆ Uh, once havin' made sure that this unconscious 'Mon found on tha beach is fine an' alright, that is, if I may do so. That poor creature!!" For some reason can emphasise a lot with that creature - being left alone somewhere unknown must be scary as heck.

Oh, and concerning Ampharos the Dashing Wanderer, Kee can't help but to mimic the pose they strike just for style and fun. Sheriff Flygon gets a confident nod when he asks them all to 'make sure this Ampharos gets to where he needs to go', before he outright jumps onto Ampharos' right shoulder. "Yesyes, smol big me 'ndeed IS a member of the Aventurer's Guild, a proud one too! *cue smug expression* C'mon, we've got an urgent meetin' t'attend, hurry, let'sa go inside! Onwardsssss we gooo!~"

It's somewhat fitting that Kogeki's the one to receive the free Linking, as he's the one who was holding on to the Link Box before it was delivered!

"Alright, just follow my lead.  If you want to use those two moves in succession, you must first strike swiftly, then hit your opponent where they're least expecting it immediately afterwards!  Like this!  Hiya!  Ya!"

Hawlucha suddenly strikes at his student with two moves in rapid succession!

It doesn't affect Kogeki...

"Just like that!  Now then, you try!  Not on me, though.  Use the targets in the back of the shop.  Make sure to practice regularly.  Using Linked moves can be very tricky if you aren't used to it.  It can throw off your rhythm in a battle if you're only used to using the moves individually."

Kogeki has linked Quick Attack -> Shadow Punch. (make sure to note this down in that exact order on your sheet)

Ampharos shudders.  "Ooooo, icy reception.  Remind me not to wake you up in the morning.  And I thought our astronomer was a real grump if you catch him on the wrong side of the bed.  Well, never mind that.  If you could just show me where the emergency meeting is, I would greatly appreciate it.  I have the most terrible sense of direction if you couldn't tell."

"...oh, we can tell.  We can tell.  Meeting's in the Grand Hall.  Just follow these two teams, and try not to get lost on the way there."

Both teams head into the guild, with Ampharos following closely behind.  Just what kind of news awaits them? 

After the doors close behind him and Ampharos is out of earshot, Flygon mutters to himself, "...that pokemon has the worst sense of direction I have ever seen..."

(Feel free to react to anything prior if you haven't yet, everyone.  Wanted to get this out of the way since I'm feelin' the groove atm.  The emergency meeting itself will be a separate post.)

He doest as Hawlucha tell him trying to mimicking what he told him. 

"Hmpft." Kogeki was not interested in in say anything more towards Amphraros. He was more focused in meet the Guildmaster and see what so serious about the meeting.

[Dragonstrike]

(No One told me he can't post soon, so it's time to auto Daxter!)

Daxter, Team OS, and Ampharos are swiftly greeted by Floette when they enter the lobby.  "Oh, there you are!  I was just about to send word to you that we're holding an urgent meeting!  Sorry about the delay, but it takes longer to deliver messages outside the guild, ya know?  Oh, and you brought Ampharos!  Wonderful!  Come on, quickly, quickly!  The Guildmaster isn't going to wait all day!"

Floette leads everyone to the Grand Hall, and it doesn't take long to notice it's completely packed when they enter.  All the Teams are chatting amongst each other, wondering why this meeting was called and why certain pokemon are present.  Floette begins showing everyone to their assigned seating, so everyone hears a bit of gossip on the way to their tables.

At one table, Liepard and Torracat of Team Slink are eying up a red eyed Absol and a Magneton sitting at a table in the corner.

"That's kind of a weird pair, don't you think?"

"Oh, you don't know?  Those are some of the most esteemed members of the Air Continent's Rescue Organization.  Word is that they helped stop a meteor from destroying the world.  Exciting, no?"

"A meteor?  Really?  Hah, as if..."

At the next one everyone passes, Team Stripes's Lurantis and Barbaracle are talking with a female Espeon and a male Umbreon.  Arcanine seems to be more interested in silently watching the party as they walk past with Floette and Ampharos.

"So you're telling us that you Teleported here from the Mist Continent on short notice?"

"Well, kind of.  We used a complex series of Entercard sequences, and that opened a Magnagate to a mystery dungeon that connects two distant points along a ley line that crosses both of our continents..."

"...ley lines?  Entercards?  Magnagates?  Mystery Dungeons, I understand, but those other fancy words?  A bit much.  Can you put that in laymon's terms for me?"

*rolls eyes*  "...suuuuuuuurrrrrre.  Basically, we stand where we know the entrance to a dungeon that connects to where we want to go is, we place our magic cards to unlock the entrance, and then we go through the dungeon to reach the other side, like going through a tunnel.  A very maze-like, dangerous tunnel."

"...I still don't really get it, but whatever you say I guess."

A little further into the room, some of the pokemon from Poliwrath Dojo seem to be excited about seeing a Wigglytuff and a Chatot!

"Oh wow!  Is that Wigglytuff and Chatot?!  I didn't know we had celebrities attending this meeting!"

"Isn't calling them celebrities a bit much?  They're just the leaders of another guild on the Grass Continent, after all."

"Haven't you heard?  Wigglytuff is supposed to be craaaazy powerful!  And Chatot's his right hand!  The two of them must have some crazy awesome stories to tell!  Isn't their guild, like, super duper secretive though?  There has to be a reason for that, right?"

"That big pink fluffball is crazy strong and secretive?  You sure about that?  He's going around and calling everyone here his friends even though he's never met any of us before!  How'd a guy like that get an invitation from the Guildmaster?"

Ampharos doesn't seem to bat an eye at any of the conversation, as he appears to be looking for someone...

"Ah, she must be here somewhere...where oh where..."

The group walks past the table where Team Artificers is sitting.  Chimical gives the party a sly grin, his snake tail hissing tauntingly, but he turns back to facing the table when Porygon-2 and Solosis address him directly, the Team discussing something in hushed tones that can't be heard over the din of all the other pokemon in the room.

Floette continues to usher everyone through the room, bringing them to the two tables closest to Delphox's chair.  "Your tables are right over here!  Everyone get comfy!  The Guildmaster should be starting the meeting shortly!"

The sound of a book slamming shut is heard, and a pokemon wearing the same kind of badge as the Electric pokemon walks over from one of the tables at a brisk pace.  It's hard to tell what's more striking about her: the intense look in her red eyes as she stares right at Ampharos, or the large jaws with huge metal teeth that seem to be sprouting from her head!



"There you are, Ampharos!  You're late!  Tsk, I shouldn't have left you at the Kecleon Shop to make sure we got a good seat...what took you so long?  You didn't spend all that time looking for a new Looplet, did you?"

"Ahahaha!  Sorry, sorry!  I really did think I knew where the guild was located, honest!  Though I suppose the facilities being based almost entirely underground did throw my sense of direction off a tad bit...and unfortunately, it appears the Kecleon on this continent didn't have any Looplets in stock today.  I suppose I'll have to make do without one for the time being."

"Well, whatever.  You're here now, and we can always look for Looplets another day.  Though you really shouldn't have lost it in the first place...that's impressive, even for you."

Mawile turns to face the rest of the group, a very curious look in her eyes instead now.

"And I suppose you all helped my friend here find his way?  I'm Mawile, chief archeologist of the Water Continent's Expedition Society.  And this here is..."

*poses*  "Ampharos, the Dashing Wanderer and our organization's fearless leader!"

"And may we ask what your names are?  It appears we'll be at neighboring tables, so this would be a good time for introductions."

"Ah, silly me!  I forgot to ask for your names earlier!  Yes, who do we have the pleasure of speaking to this morning?"

Daxter looks at the two pokemon carefully before responding.  "Daxter."

(Windos's character and Audino haven't arrived yet, btw. They'll be entering a little later.)

[Spiritmon]

Kogeki cross his arms and tell the two in from of him. "Kogeki. Kogeki "Anubis" Kuraymami. Ninja of the sand and sea." He look around the other tables and said. "Some important figures today it seems. I wonder what this is about. Also Dax, have something to show you." Kogeki then show TM Rock Tomb. "Are you willing to trade something for this TM?"

Holy damn, so many various Pokemon!! Ziggy Kee can't help but to give everyone a very curious and interested look as Floette guides them to their assigned tables, overhearing their conversations and greeting everyone who greets him with a sly yet friendly grin. He's not at all shy or overwhelmed by all the strong, evolved and experienced Pokemon around here! If anything, it makes Kee want to become a famous respected adventurer even more.

uh, so the members of Team OS are getting one of the two tables c-closest to Delphox's chair? Closest to the GUILDMASTER'S chair?! (╯✧▽✧)╯ Every single hair of Kee's fine black-white fur is brimming with pride as he takes seat with way too much style and grace.

(･ω<)☆ "'Ndeed, 'ndeed, me an' my fellow team members gladly helped out!~ I'm Kee, proud apprentice of this fine 'dventurer's guild under Delphox's wing! Adenture and treasure is what I seek!" He lowers his voice a little, "Dontcha mind my fellow teammates bein' somewhat grumpy t'day, k?" Another wink, (>ω^)☆, "Glad an' happy t'meet tha Expedition Society!"

Well, if Kogeki's not up for talk with them, then Kee will GLADLY keep them occupied and get to know them! He seems to be in a good mood regardless. "So, ya came from the Water Continent ya say? How are things over there, is it far away?~"

This is the first time that Teams Night Wardens and Omega Seekers have interacted in any significant capacity in a week, and it's a bit awkward at first, given that Daxter wasn't expecting it.  The two teams are sharing a table however, and there's little else to do while waiting for the Guildmaster.  The Charmander looks at the TM, thinks it over...

"Eh, sure.  Karen bought this Rock Smash TM the other day, but none of my team's members are able to use it.  Sound like a fair trade?"

"Oh yes, it's quite far from here.  Aside from the Mystery Continent, it's the northernmost land mass!  The Air Continent is actually a little bit farther away though.  That's basically on the opposite side of the map!"

"What do you mean by how are things, though?  We haven't really had any strange occurrences recently if that's what you mean.  Well, besides the one thing...I'm pretty sure it's not related to this meeting, though.  I do wonder what the Guildmaster called so many reputable organizations here for..."

Mawile doesn't have to wait long to find out, because the sound of a door opening and closing soon after is heard, and Guildmaster Delphox walks out of her room to sit in her chair at the head of the hall.  Cacturne also walks up to the front of the room to stand beside the Guildmaster's chair.  The chatter in the room goes quiet as everyone turns to look at her.

She surveys the room, making sure everyone is present, then begins.  "Thank you all for responding to my summons so quickly.  I know that some of you have your own matters to attend to on other continents, so I will try to make this brief.  Guildmaster Wigglytuff, this news will likely be of interest to you in particular."

The large, pink pokemon's ears perk up at the mention of his name.  "Oh?  Did something happen that is bothering my friends here?"

Delphox frowns.  "You may remember that I requested the aid of Team Raiders some time ago to look into a particular matter for me.  For those of you in the room who don't know, Team Raiders is a Master Rank Exploration Team from the Grass Continent.  They readily accepted my request and set off after gathering supplies, but I'm afraid I haven't heard from them since their departure.  That was almost two weeks ago now."

Wigglytuff gasps, and the rest of the gathered pokemon start murmuring amongst themselves.

Strange Happenings: I Saw Something Again... - PMD: Explorers of T/D/S

Mawile and Ampharos look very thoughtful.  "A Master Rank team vanished?  How could that be possible?"

"It is rather troubling.  They're supposed to be the best of the best, after all.  I don't think there's a single Team in this room that might match up to them in rank.  Except..."

"...that's exactly who Delphox has summoned here today, isn't it?"

"...it appears so.  Some of the most prestigious Teams from around the world are present today.  That certainly explains a lot..."

"Quiet!  Quiet!  That's enough yacking from all of you!  The Guildmaster's not finished yet!"

The murmuring dies down, and Delphox continues.

"Wigglytuff, have you not heard anything from Roserade recently?  I know the two of you are acquainted with each other."

Wigglytuff shakes his head, looking very, very sad and on the verge of tears.  "No, I haven't.  She would have told me if she was in trouble."

Chatot does his best to try and comfort the bigger pokemon.  "Guildmaster, are you okay?  Should I go see if there's a Perfect Apple in the kitchen?"

He nods, and the bird quickly flies off in a hurry.

"This is worrying...a Master Rank team vanishing is a very serious matter, regardless of the organization they work for.  Rhyperior, Roserade, and Gallade are all extremely capable pokemon.  We can only conclude that something must have gone terribly wrong.  I had requested that they look into the cause of several strange storms that had been popping up around the borders of the Sand Continent recently.  I do not know where their search took them, only that they were investigating uncharted islands in the oceans between the continents.  Ampharos."

Ampharos stands at attention.  "Yes ma'am?"

"Your Expedition Society has a complete map of the world, yes?"

"We do, though we've had to start remapping it again after a certain...incident.  We have most of the world's Mystery Dungeons and landmarks charted, though without our most skilled Expeditionists, progress has been slower than we were hoping."

"Hmmmm...it's better than nothing, I suppose.  Do you have the...what are they called again?  Those orbs I asked you to bring."

"I have them right here, Guildmaster."  Mawile digs through the bag at her side and pulls out some glowing blue orbs.  They almost look a little bit like Wonder Orbs, but they're much more sparkly.



"We only have a few spares at the moment, unfortunately.  Connection Orbs are rather difficult to make.  They should be helpful for anyone trying to pinpoint a location, though.  I assume that's where you're going with this, correct?"

"That is indeed what I intend.  How many of them do you have?"

"Five, not including the ones the members of the Expedition Society carry."

Delphox grimaces.  "Then we only have one for each continent.  I suppose that means we'll have to send only the best teams our Guild has to offer.  Members of the Rescue Organization, Paradise, Expedition Society, and Wigglytuff Guild, I do not wish to trouble your organizations with the burden of searching for Team Raiders and disrupt your normal operations.  I do, however, wish to request that you aid this guild's Teams in the search however you are able.  The vast majority of my guild's Teams will lead the search here.  I will personally be organizing their efforts.  As for the rest, I would like each of you to aid one Team from my Guild in searching your respective Continents for clues that might lead us to Team Raiders's location."

The crowd begins murmuring again.  Who would get to go to these other continents with the most prestigious Teams in the world?  Who does Delphox consider the guild's best?  Is this the fault of those humans that appeared recently?

"I said QUIET!  The Guildmaster still isn't done.  Shut your yaps and listen up!"

Everyone goes quiet once again, not wanting to provoke Cacturne any further.

"Thank you, Cacturne.  Now then, I have four Teams in mind for this already.  Obviously, our two highest ranked Teams, at Silver, will both be going.  Teams Artificers and Stripes, you will be heading two of the searches."

Chimical hisses in pleasure.  "Asssss you wisssssh, Guildmassssster.  We ssssshall do our best to pleasssssse."

Arcanine just nods.

"As for the other two teams, I wish to send Teams Omega Seekers and Night Wardens."

The crowd starts murmuring again, with many individuals turning to look in the direction of the named teams to see how they react to the news, and Cacturne gives Delphox a look of absolute disbelief.  Mawile and Ampharos look at each other before looking at the two Teams sitting at the neighboring table.

"Guildmaster, are you sure that's wise?  They've not even been here for two weeks!  They couldn't possibly have enough experience with Adventuring yet for a mission like this!"

"I am certain, Cacturne.  Or did you forget the report they gave us last week?"

"I certainly haven't, but that could have easily been a fluke!  They were clearly in over their heads!"

"My decision is final, Cacturne."

"Hmmmm...very well."

Chatot returns with a huge, perfectly shiny and round apple and flies it over to Wigglytuff immediately.  The pink guildmaster seems to calm down substantially as he snacks on the excessively large fruit, and it's a stark contrast compared to the moody, skeptical look that Cacturne is shooting at Teams NW and OS.

"Artificers, Stripes, Omega Seekers, and Night Wardens.  You are each to team up with the members of the Teams from the other continents and begin searching for Team Raiders as soon as possible.  In addition, I have one more request for each of you."

More murmuring from the crowd, and this time, Cacturne doesn't tell them to stop.  Delphox takes a deep breath and continues regardless.

"Braixen has run away.  I need you to find her."

The crowd goes silent in shock.

"She likely caught wind of my announcement earlier in the week.  I believe she's run off with some group in an attempt to be a hero.  Foolish girl...she could be on any of the other continents by now.  I need to know that she's safe, and this...frankly reckless action of hers is worrying me.  I do not know how long she has been planning this for, but it was long enough that she managed to slip away without me noticing.  Whichever Team finds her and returns her here will be rewarded appropriately.  Understood?"

Wigglytuff stands up and break the silence, his voice projecting much more loudly than most in the room are expecting.  "On my guild's honor, we shall find Team Raiders and Braixen!  YOOM-TAH!"

We're in this together!: One for All, All for One! - PMD: Explorers of Sky

Magneton floats forwards while Absol lingers in the background.  "YOU SHALL HAVE OUR AID AS WELL.  ABSOL'S NATURAL ABILITIES SHOULD PROVE USEFUL."

Espeon walks forward.  "Well, if you need to get anywhere quickly, know you'll have the best Magnagate researchers from Paradise at your call.  We'll need to make a quick jaunt back to inform the others and see what other forces we can muster for this search."

Ampharos is the last to stand.  "I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not think humans are to blame for these disasters.  Far from it.  I've had the pleasure of working with one of them, in fact.  And I'm sure you all remember that they and their partner were responsible for saving us from being turned to stone all that time ago.  The Expedition Society will assist, Guildmaster Delphox, and we will get to the bottom of the true cause of these storms!"

Delphox nods.  "Excellent.  Now, before you all set out, there is one more matter to address.  It has been brought to my attention that the mysterious pokemon found unconscious on the beach this morning was caught in a storm recently.  I'd like those of you who will be traveling to other continents to meet with Audino and this mysterious pokemon and find out if they know anything that might lead us to Team Raiders.  They should be waiting with Floette outside.  The rest of the Guild's Teams are to stay here so that we may begin organizing our search of the Sand Continent.  Mawile, if you could please hand me one of those Connection Orbs.  Make sure to distribute them to the other Teams as well."

"At once, Guildmaster."  Mawile walks up to Delphox's chair to hand her a Connection Orb before returning to her seat.

"Alright, slackers, meeting ajourned.  Let's get busy."

The room quickly gets louder again as the various Teams start organizing themselves.  Mawile and Ampharos turn to address Teams NW and OS.

"Well, that was certainly eventful.  Looks like we're all going to have our hands full, aren't we?"

"It definitely looks to be that way.  I can't help but notice that the Guildmaster didn't mention which Teams were going to which Continents, though.  I guess that means we have to work it out ourselves.  So what are you three thinking?  One of your Teams could come with us to the Water Continent, see the Expedition Society."

Daxter's not quite sure what to make of it all quite yet.  "Water Continent, huh?  There's a lot of Water there, I guess?  Maybe my Team will go with you.  It'd certainly be a nice change of pace compared to this barren place.  What are you guys thinking though, Kee?  Kogeki?"

This is the first time that Teams Night Wardens and Omega Seekers have interacted in any significant capacity in a week, and it's a bit awkward at first, given that Daxter wasn't expecting it.  The two teams are sharing a table however, and there's little else to do while waiting for the Guildmaster.  The Charmander looks at the TM, thinks it over...

"Eh, sure.  Karen bought this Rock Smash TM the other day, but none of my team's members are able to use it.  Sound like a fair trade?"



"Oh yes, it's quite far from here.  Aside from the Mystery Continent, it's the northernmost land mass!  The Grass Continent is actually a little bit farther away though.  That's basically on the opposite side of the map!"

"What do you mean by how are things, though?  We haven't really had any strange occurrences recently if that's what you mean.  Well, besides the one thing...I'm pretty sure it's not related to this meeting, though.  I do wonder what the Guildmaster called so many reputable organizations here for..."

Mawile doesn't have to wait long to find out, because the sound of a door opening and closing soon after is heard, and Guildmaster Delphox walks out of her room to sit in her chair at the head of the hall.  Cacturne also walks up to the front of the room to stand beside the Guildmaster's chair.  The chatter in the room goes quiet as everyone turns to look at her.

She surveys the room, making sure everyone is present, then begins.  "Thank you all for responding to my summons so quickly.  I know that some of you have your own matters to attend to on other continents, so I will try to make this brief.  Guildmaster Wigglytuff, this news will likely be of interest to you in particular."

The large, pink pokemon's ears perk up at the mention of his name.  "Oh?  Did something happen that is bothering my friends here?"

Delphox frowns.  "You may remember that I requested the aid of Team Raiders some time ago to look into a particular matter for me.  For those of you in the room who don't know, Team Raiders is a Master Rank Exploration Team from the Grass Continent.  They readily accepted my request and set off after gathering supplies, but I'm afraid I haven't heard from them since their departure.  That was almost two weeks ago now."

Wigglytuff gasps, and the rest of the gathered pokemon start murmuring amongst themselves.

Strange Happenings: I Saw Something Again... - PMD: Explorers of T/D/S

Mawile and Ampharos look very thoughtful.  "A Master Rank team vanished?  How could that be possible?"

"It is rather troubling.  They're supposed to be the best of the best, after all.  I don't think there's a single Team in this room that might match up to them in rank.  Except..."

"...that's exactly who Delphox has summoned here today, isn't it?"

"...it appears so.  Some of the most prestigious Teams from around the world are present today.  That certainly explains a lot..."

"Quiet!  Quiet!  That's enough yacking from all of you!  The Guildmaster's not finished yet!"

The murmuring dies down, and Delphox continues.

"Wigglytuff, have you not heard anything from Roserade recently?  I know the two of you are acquainted with each other."

Wigglytuff shakes his head, looking very, very sad and on the verge of tears.  "No, I haven't.  She would have told me if she was in trouble."

Chatot does his best to try and comfort the bigger pokemon.  "Guildmaster, are you okay?  Should I go see if there's a Perfect Apple in the kitchen?"

He nods, and the bird quickly flies off in a hurry.

"This is worrying...a Master Rank team vanishing is a very serious matter, regardless of the organization they work for.  Rhyperior, Roserade, and Gallade are all extremely capable pokemon.  We can only conclude that something must have gone terribly wrong.  I had requested that they look into the cause of several strange storms that had been popping up around the borders of the Sand Continent recently.  I do not know where their search took them, only that they were investigating uncharted islands in the oceans between the continents.  Ampharos."

Ampharos stands at attention.  "Yes ma'am?"

"Your Expedition Society has a complete map of the world, yes?"

"We do, though we've had to start remapping it again after a certain...incident.  We have most of the world's Mystery Dungeons and landmarks charted, though without our most skilled Expeditionists, progress has been slower than we were hoping."

"Hmmmm...it's better than nothing, I suppose.  Do you have the...what are they called again?  Those orbs I asked you to bring."

"I have them right here, Guildmaster."  Mawile digs through the bag at her side and pulls out some glowing blue orbs.  They almost look a little bit like Wonder Orbs, but they're much more sparkly.



"We only have a few spares at the moment, unfortunately.  Connection Orbs are rather difficult to make.  They should be helpful for anyone trying to pinpoint a location, though.  I assume that's where you're going with this, correct?"

"That is indeed what I intend.  How many of them do you have?"

"Five, not including the ones the members of the Expedition Society carry."

Delphox grimaces.  "Then we only have one for each continent.  I suppose that means we'll have to send only the best teams our Guild has to offer.  Members of the Rescue Organization, Paradise, Expedition Society, and Wigglytuff Guild, I do not wish to trouble your organizations with the burden of searching for Team Raiders and disrupt your normal operations.  I do, however, wish to request that you aid this guild's Teams in the search however you are able.  The vast majority of my guild's Teams will lead the search here.  I will personally be organizing their efforts.  As for the rest, I would like each of you to aid one Team from my Guild in searching your respective Continents for clues that might lead us to Team Raiders's location."

The crowd begins murmuring again.  Who would get to go to these other continents with the most prestigious Teams in the world?  Who dioesDelphox consider the guild's best?  Is this the fault of those humans that appeared recently?

"I said QUIET!  The Guildmaster still isn't done.  Shut your yaps and listen up!"

Everyone goes quiet once again, not wanting to provoke Cacturne any further.

"Thank you, Cacturne.  Now then, I have four Teams in mind for this already.  Obviously, our two highest ranked Teams, at Silver, will both be going.  Teams Artificers and Stripes, you will be heading two of the searches."

Chimical hisses in pleasure.  "Asssss you wisssssh, Guildmassssster.  We ssssshall do our best to pleasssssse."

Arcanine just nods.

"As for the other two teams, I wish to send Teams Omega Seekers and Night Wardens."

The crowd starts murmuring again, with many individuals turning to look in the direction of the named teams to see how they react to the news, and Cacturne gives Delphox a look of absolute disbelief.  Mawile and Ampharos look at each other before looking at the two Teams sitting at the neighboring table.

"Guildmaster, are you sure that's wise?  They've not even been here for two weeks!  They couldn't possibly have enough experience with Adventuring yet for a mission like this!"

"I am certain, Cacturne.  Or did you forget the report they gave us last week?"

"I certainly haven't, but that could have easily been a fluke!  They were clearly in over their heads!"

"My decision is final, Cacturne."

"Hmmmm...very well."

Chatot returns with a huge, perfectly shiny and round apple and flies it over to Wigglytuff immediately.  The pink guildmaster seems to calm down substantially as he snacks on the excessively large fruit, and it's a stark contrast compared to the moody, skeptical look that Cacturne is shooting at Teams NW and OS.

"Artificers, Stripes, Omega Seekers, and Night Wardens.  You are each to team up with the members of the Teams from the other continents and begin searching for Team Raiders as soon as possible.  In addition, I have one more request for each of you."

More murmuring from the crowd, and this time, Cacturne doesn't tell them to stop.  Delphox takes a deep breath and continues regardless.

"Braixen has run away.  I need you to find her."

The crowd goes silent in shock.

"She likely caught wind of my announcement earlier in the week.  I believe she's run off with some group in an attempt to be a hero.  Foolish girl...she could be on any of the other continents by now.  I need to know that she's safe, and this...frankly reckless action of hers is worrying me.  I do not know how long she has been planning this for, but it was long enough that she managed to slip away without me noticing.  Whichever Team finds her and returns her here will be rewarded appropriately.  Understood?"

Wigglytuff stands up and break the silence, his voice projecting much more loudly than most in the room are expecting.  "On my guild's honor, we shall find Team Raiders and Braixen!  YOOM-TAH!"

Magneton floats forwards while Absol lingers in the background.  "YOU SHALL HAVE OUR AID AS WELL.  ABSOL'S NATURAL ABILITIES SHOULD PROVE USEFUL."

Espeon walks forward.  "Well, if you need to get anywhere quickly, know you'll have the best Magnagate researchers from Paradise at your call.  We'll need to make a quick jaunt back to inform the others and see what other forces we can muster for this search."

Ampharos is the last to stand.  "I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not think humans are to blame for these disasters.  Far from it.  I've had the pleasure of working with one of them, in fact.  And I'm sure you all remember that they and their partner were responsible for saving us from being turned to stone all that time ago.  The Expedition Society will assist, Guildmaster Delphox, and we will get to the bottom of the true cause of these storms!"

Delphox nods.  "Excellent.  Now, before you all set out, there is one more matter to address.  It has been brought to my attention that the mysterious pokemon found unconscious on the beach this morning was caught in a storm recently.  I'd like those of you who will be traveling to other continents to meet with Audino and this mysterious pokemon and find out if they know anything that might lead us to Team Raiders.  They should be waiting with Floette outside.  The rest of the Guild's Teams are to stay here so that we may begin organizing our search of the Sand Continent.  Mawile, if you could please hand me one of those Connection Orbs.  Make sure to distribute them to the other Teams as well."

"At once, Guildmaster."  Mawile walks up to Delphox's chair to hand her a Connection Orb before returning to her seat.

"Alright, slackers, meeting ajourned.  Let's get busy."

The room quickly gets louder again as the various Teams start organizing themselves.  Mawile and Ampharos turn to address Teams NW and OS.

"Well, that was certainly eventful.  Looks like we're all going to have our hands full, aren't we?"

"It definitely looks to be that way.  I can't help but notice that the Guildmaster didn't mention which Teams were going to which Continents, though.  I guess that means we have to work it out ourselves.  So what are you three thinking?  One of your Teams could come with us to the Water Continent, see the Expedition Society."

Daxter's not quite sure what to make of it all quite yet.  "Water Continent, huh?  There's a lot of Water there, I guess?  Maybe my Team will go with you.  It'd certainly be a nice change of pace compared to this barren place.  What are you guys thinking though, Kee?  Kogeki?"

With Daxter:

"Sure. I could use some Anti-Dark type move. Rock Tomb for Rock Smash then."

About Braixen disapearance:

Kogeki was silence most of the time. But when Delphox talk about giving a reward in rescue Braixen, Kogeki in a way wanted such reward in do such thing...Although, this would only make things even further, like some kind of competition to other teams. 

Thats why Kogeki himself was kinda surprise about his own words.

"I can't in the name of the rest of my team...But for me, reward is not necessary in Braixen disapearance case. This, is our job." Kogeki involutary look at Team Artificer. "It is not our job as a adventure Guild to help Pokemon in need?" Kogeki then look to the Guildmaster. "Consider the job done Guildmaster. Team Omega Seekers is on the case. We gonna find them." Then Kogeki direct his gelid eyes toward Cactune. "Both Braixen and the missing Team." After saying such words, Kogeki return to be silence. 

He dont want to go play that stupid game of competition the others members of the Guild too. He will do his job and thats it.

And now answering both Daxter, Ampharos and Mawile. "Well, to be honest I dont know yet. Me think we should check that "mysterious" Pokemon who appear in the beach. If that Pokemon is in this place, a extra pair of hands is pretty good."

While our story's main teams are talking with the members of the Expedition Society, a certain Shiny bird is waiting impatiently just outside the Grand Hall's entrance.  Floette's trying her best to defuse the situation, while Audino is trying his best to stay out of the disagreement.

"I'm sorry Drilbur gave you the wrong impression with the summons, miss.  The Guildmaster doesn't intend for this meeting to be very long, though, so I'm sure she'll..."

The doors to the Grand Hall suddenly open, and the chatter of all tge pokemon inside interrupts whatever Floette was about to say.

Walking out of the room are four pokemon: Chimical, Solosis, Golett, and Porygon-2.

Team Artificers: Competition Mode - Sonic Mania

"Well, that wassssss interessssting.  Which continent do you think we'll be traveling too, Sssssolosssssisssss?"

"I'm not sure, but whichever one the boss decides on, I'm confident it will be to our benefit."

Golett silently follows behind, but Porygon-2 seems more interested in looking for something.  When its eyes meet the little bird's, it immediately floats over to talk to her.

"YOU MUST BE THE ANOMALY THE GUILDMASTER MENTIONED.  SHE SAID YOU MIGHT HAVE INFORMATION THAT WOULD BE OF USE TO US."

"Oh, Team Artificers!  I take it the meeting just finished?"

"IT HAS.  YOUR SERVICES ARE NOT REQUIRED CURRENTLY, FLOETTE.  I WISH TO SPEAK TO THE BIRD."

Porygon-2 looks at the smaller pokemon expectantly, seeming to wait for some kind of response.

Ziggy Kee remains quiet whenever it becomes more loud in the room from the various Pokemon murmuing and chattering, prefering to not participate in speculations and rather continue what Guildmaster Delphox has to say. He's all ears, every hair of his fur still brimming with pride over being seated that close to their guildmaster...

...But being asked, from the guildmaster themselves, to team up with a different high-ranked team and travel to a different continent for an important mission - THAT KINDA NAILS IT, Kee can absolutely not hide a sly and wide smile as everyone in the room looks at him and Kogeki. He looks like he's going to drop dead right here by the table out from PRIDE over being entrusted with such a task, as well as EXCITEMENT over the adventure to unfold!!1 Holy damn, such a HONOR to be tasked with such a, uh, task!! ( ÒωÓ)و☆

"Water continent sounds kinda perfect for ya, Dax, so you should tot'lly go. Take dear Karen with ya, an' enjoy that change of pace of hopefully lot an' lots of water 'round 'ndeed!~ K?"

And now answering both Daxter, Ampharos and Mawile. "Well, to be honest I dont know yet. Me think we should check that "mysterious" Pokemon who appear in the beach. If that Pokemon is in this place, a extra pair of hands is pretty good."

The deltadoggo of a ninja gets an encouraging nod from Kee as well, being curious and interested about that 'mysterious Pokemon' - are they, or rather, have they as well been human once? Could that be? Whether or not, they're worth meeting and getting to know for sure. "Gimme one moment please b'fore we'll go checking 'em, will ya K'geki? I'd actually like to ask that Espeon an' Magneton if we could come with 'em to the continent they come from. 'Magnagate? Paradise? Heck, sounds excitinggggg!"

Since Kogeki said he doesn't know yet, then Kee gladly taked the initiative and zigzags over to Magneton, Espeon and Absol in order to ask them whether they and Team OS can team up for that mission.

Porygon-2 looks at the smaller pokemon expectantly, seeming to wait for some kind of response.

To say the Shiny Bird was irritated with the misunderstanding was an understatement, as was the fact that the Leader of this Guild foisted responsibilities upon them they never agreed to in the first place. Still, they were not one to blow up at a Leader's followers (unless they were the ones to cause a problem), so they were doing their level best to keep their temper in check. Judging by their tone, it was.....delicately achieved.

"With all due respect, Floette, while I am grateful of this 'Adventurer's Guild' aid, that does not obligate the Guildmaster to Order me around like one of their followers. If they had just sent out a  proper request, then I....."

At this point Team Artificers (As she would soon learn) would curtail the end of that potential argument, causing the metallic avian to focus on the lot with a keen eye. Hmm....from what they tell at a glance they seemed to be a rough bunch, but had a sense of competence and experience that excluded them from simple brutes or low-ranking grunts of the Guildmaster. Nothing too extraordinary, but reliable followers were what formed any good organization or Guild's ranks, so they wouldn't hold that against them. Everyone couldn't be as unique as they were, after all.

The strange duck thing, however, did it's level best to anger them with their frankly rude and impersonal demeanor, prompting the glittering fowl to look upon them with narrowed eyes. Okay, perhaps they overestimated this 'Team' , if it's apparent Leader thought that was the best way to start a conversation. Didn't anybody teach this....creature proper manners, by god? They tried not to let it get to them, though, and pushed on ahead carefully.

".......My name is Platina. Please use it when addressing me. Now, if I may have your name in turn? And what is it you desire to know specifically?"

They punctuated this by fluttering their wings and tilting their head at them just right, sending out a small shower of their characteristic sparkles that framed their pose perfectly. Perhaps if they wowed them a bit, their Leader and their group would start treating her with the proper respect and dignity they deserve? For their shakes, they better.
