In that case, while we're waiting on what Daxter is doing (No One assures me he's been working on his post slowly but surely), here's what happens with Platina and Kogeki's approach.
Platina's Allure
(6)(5)(1)(3)(5)(3)(4)(5)(4)(1) 5 successes
Kogeki's Stealth
(3)(2)(5)(6) 2 successes
???'s Alert
3 Insight + 3 Survival + 0 Alert - 2 Distraction! = 4d6
(5)(6)(3)(1) 2 successes
Sandshrew and Hippopotas seem to be taken a bit aback by Platina's entrance, as both of them turn to look at her immediately. Neither of them notice Kogeki sneaking up on them.
The small, blue pokemon that's swimming in the ocean does notice Kogeki however. They don't seem to be quite as phazed by Platina's stunning display, either (not that Platina was trying to wow them in particular).
"Oh? Well, I wasn't expecting even more company to show up! Hello there!"
"Wait, isn't that the bird we found on the beach this morning, Hippopotas?"
Immediately, Platina and Kogeki notice something weird, because it's not Sandshrew that says that, but...Hippopotas?
"It is! Are you doing okay? Sandshrew and I were so worried you'd been seriously hurt or something!"
And that's Sandshrew speaking? What's going on here?
The swimming blue pokemon doesn't seem to pay that any mind, and throws in their own two Poké into the conversation.
"Oh, so you know this pokemon? Well, it's nice to meet you! What brings you and your friend over there to my little corner of the beach?"

(Uh, quick question, but why would Platina think their voices are weird, since she never heard the two before? I'm fine with rolling with it, though, since it's not a big deal)
Platina, upon getting her rescuers and their onlooker's attention, gives a sweeping bow with one wing placed on her chest, giving everyone her best and most charming smile.
"Greetings! My name is Platina, and it is my utmost pleasure to meet you two, my heroes!"
Their voices seemed off to the metallic avian in a way she can't quite describe, but she tries to not let that bother her too much as she titters at their concern, covering her mouth with her wing as she does so.
"Quite so, no thanks in small part to you two. You were a Heaven sent for me, and I can't thank you enough for aiding me in my time of need!"
The somewhat mysterious Pokémon question doesn't even distract the Shiny Bird; in fact, she use it as a transition in a masterful display of Etiquette!
"Why this, of course!"
A quick flourish of her wing to her bag, and in the next moment two $100 Poke piles were place in front of both the Sandshrew and Hippopotas!
"A small token of my gratitude, for coming to me in my time of need! I wish I could afford to give you more, but at the moment I hardly have the wealth to be more appropriately generous. If you need anything, however, don't hesitate to ask for my assistance! I am in your debt, and I always repay Pokémon exactly what they deserve!"
At this point Platina turned to look at the blue Pokémon floating in the seas, cocking her head them inquisitively as she tried and failed to determine which one they were.
"Greeting to you too, denizen of the seas. Sorry for interrupting your.....play time with these two? *Shakes head* Hmm....well, sorry for interrupting you period, but I had to properly thank them for the aid they gave me. Help to save someone in need deserves great respect and tribute, no?"
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Daxter nods gratefully as the enormous canine agrees to keep an eye out. "He's... my best mate. Kept me going through some tough times. I'm not resting until we're back together again. I'll make it worth your efforts if need be. Happy to compensate you for going out of your way. Nice to meet you, Arcanine. See you around."
For the Kecleon brothers, Daxter only has a chuckle. "You rascals are working with Karen to bankrupt my team! Had to put a stop to it somehow. She's on a strict budget from here on out. She'll probably be here a little later today, but don't expect too much from her. Anyway... Hmmm. That Rock Blast TM looks a little tempting, but I think I'll save my money for now. I'll just take two apples and that tiny reviver seed if that's alright. How much do I owe you for that?"
Daxter peers at the Cofagrigus's wares. He thinks for a moment and decides, pointing at a Donut. "I've got two bars, so I'll grab that donut. Think that'll be useful for us. Thanks mate. I'll be away for a while but I'll be back soon enough. Maybe I'll be able to get something a little bigger next time."
Finally, Daxter arrives at the Lapras Liner. He pulls the Donut out of his bag and offers it to Snom. "I heard these make Pokemon stronger. Maybe you'll get a little faster and be able to land those awesome Powder Snows better? Just give it a try, love. It's covered in sugar. Can't taste all that bad, can it?"
A/N: OOC, this is me trying to encourage Snom to use her exp on increasing Dex and Fight.
When the commotion surrounding the small blue Pokemon erupts, Daxter hesitates. He's curious about the newcomer, but he's also feeling a lot more antsy about going. He looks at Ampharos thoughtfully. "Uh... We can go and check it out if you're keen on it, but I'd just as well get moving. Sooner we get moving, sooner we can get some results. That, and I'm very interested in seeing the so called Water Continent. Something tells me that I'd like it a lot more than this dusty hell. Not that I hate the town, but it's very, very dry and very, very hot. Blasted sand's always getting in my gills and making me sneeze. The weirdest damn feeling ever. We can stay back and check it out if you'd like, though."
I'm no one special. Also, here's a pupper pic:

"I think seeing what's going on over there might be a good idea, to be honest. That blue pokemon looks...special. I can't quite determine why, though..."
"Well, only one way to find out. Let's go take a look."
----------------------------------
The two kids look at each other, then at the money in amazement.
"Oh wow, that's a lot of Poké! Do you know how many apples we could buy with that, Sandshrew?"
"I think we could get...10? Yeah, 10! We'll be eating like kings for a week if you don't eat them all, Hippopotas!"
"Why are you looking at me? You're the one with the big mouth right now!"
"Oh, uh...right."
The blue pokemon chuckles. "Here, let me fix that for you two!" They close their eyes and focus really hard, and the single, ribbon-like antenna on their head stands a little straighter and begins to glow very slightly. Soon after, the kids begin to glow the same color, and big, pink cartoon hearts swap between their bodies. The glow fades soon after, and the two kids are now looking at each other and themselves in amazement.
"There! All better!"
"Wow, I'm myself again!"
"And I'm me! Yay! But now I'm hungry again..."
"Oh, you're always hungry, Hippopotas."
The blue pokemon chuckles again, then turns to look at Kogeki and Platina as Daxter, Mawile, and Ampharos walk over to see what's going on.
"Don't worry, I wasn't doing anything important. Just showing these kids my special trick since they were curious. I suppose I should introduce myself now, though, shouldn't I? Hi, I'm Phione, one of the pokemon helping to run Manaphy's Swap Service! You guys are Adventurers, right? Have you ever wanted to see what it's like to walk on someone else's paws or claws, or wanted to do a job yourself but have a bad matchup with the types of pokemon or terrain in a Mystery Dungeon? I can help with that by swapping you with another pokemon for a small fee of 500 Poké! Though I should warn you that we only provide the service if both involved individuals agree to the swap, and the effects are also very temporary. I might be able to use Heart Swap, but I'm nowhere near as strong as Manaphy is, so you'll only swap bodies for around a day in most cases if you aren't swapped back before the effects expire. Speaking of which, I do swapbacks for free!"
Mawile gives Phione a very curious look. Ampharos nods thoughtfully. "How interesting! Mawile, that name...Manaphy. It sounds familiar for some reason, yes?"
"Vaguely. Where have we heard it before, though? Hmmmm..."
Phione answers that query quite promptly. "Oh, you probably know them as a member of Team Poképals on the Grass Continent! I haven't checked in with them in awhile, but I'm due to report back with the other Phione pretty soon, actually."
"Oh, right, Team Poképals! The Wigglytuff Guild graduates, of course! Silly me, forgetting about the Grass Continent's most famous Explorers."
Phione turns back to Daxter, Platina, and Kogeki. "So, anything I can do for you guys? Or are you all ready to go on whatever adventures you have planned?"

Daxter hands the Kecleon brothers their money and leaves, giving them a cheery wave.
To Snom, Daxter shrugs. "Honestly, I can't promise that it tastes good. Where I'm from, donuts are sweet and sugary and delicious, but everything around here is kinda weird. Just take a small bite. If it doesn't taste good, no harm done. If it does, have the whole thing. Go on!"
Daxter stares curiously at the Phione. "Huh. That's... Pretty cool, actually. It'd help out if I need to take my team for underwater missions or if I need to go into a volcano or something stupid like that. And you do this with a move? Heart Swap, you said it was? That's... bloody weird, mate. But also very cool. I don't think we need anything like that for now, but you can be sure that I'll be here to use your services in the future."
He then turns to Ampharos. "Glad you made me come here mate. But I'm still itching to get moving. You two ready to leave?"

"Ah yes, quite. Apologies, Phione, but we all must be on our way to places afar, so I'm afraid we won't be making use of your services today."
"Oh that's okay! I'll be around here if you need me for anything! There's also other Phione stationed at each continent, so just give us a shout on the coastline if you need us!"
Sandshrew and Hippopotas wave goodbye to the Adventurers as they make their way back to the rest of the group.
"Bye everyone!"
"Have fun and eat lots of exotic snacks!"
Team Night Wardens and the Expedition Society get on Lapras and try to find comfy positions on her back, settling in for a longer trip to the Water Continent. We'll come back to them into a second after they've sailed off into the distance.
Espeon and Umbreon take Team Omega Seekers aside to a patch of open beach and begin laying down cards with strange designs on them in a circular pattern in the sand, explaining what they're doing as they work.
"These Entercards are what allow us to travel long distances in shorter than usual times. If you arrange them in specific patterns on specific spots, you can open up a portal to a Mystery Dungeon that leads to a completely different place!"
" Finding the correct patterns is the key, and it gets harder to figure out what cards you need to use to get to where you want to go the more remote the location gets. We're going to a spot we're very familiar with, though, so this isn't going to be hard at all. I place this card here, move this one slightly to the left, tap this one...okay, stand back everyone!"
Opening the Magnagate!: Magnagate - PMD: Gates to Infinity
The cards begin to glow, and then a mysterious light draws a circular pattern connecting all the cards together! Then another, and a third! Once the two ends of every circle meet, the middle then begins to glow, the light starting to swirl and turn a colorful shade of light blue! The portal creates a pillar of light as the energy swirls, beckoning everyone to jump in.
Reference Picture:
"Alright, here we go! Everyone step into it on the count of three! One..."
"Two..."
"Three!"
"Three!"
There's a flash of light as the five pokemon step into the portal simultaneously, and then they suddenly find themselves in an entirely different place!
Waterfalls surround the pokemon on three sides, cascading down stone walls that form a straight corridor. The ground is wet, and the pokemon create small splashes with every step on the submerged ground. A light current draws the water away from the party and down the corridor, but there's seemingly no end to the downpour.

Undersea Tunnel: Telluric Path - PMD: Gates to Infinity
"Welcome to the Undersea Tunnel! This is the Mystery Dungeon Espeon and I had to go through to get to the Sand Continent from the Mist Continent. Looks a bit straighter than the last time we were here though..."
"Quite a sight, isn't it? We have some time to kill, so I wouldn't blame you if you want to take a look around. Magnagate Dungeons are quite unlike anything you'll see on the surface! I'm sure this is all very exciting for you, so how about you take the lead, Kee?"

Meanwhile, Team Night Wardens and the Expedition Society have a rather uneventful seafaring ride to the Water Continent. It takes a good portion of the day to sail from one continent to the next, but Lapras is able to swim at surprisingly high speeds, and the group reaches their destination with around half the day remaining. Everyone disembarks at the docks, and Lapras gives them the introduction to the local area.
"Welcome to Lively Town! I'll be here at the docks if you need to go anywhere else."
"Thanks Lapras!"
Ampharos turns to address Daxter, Rowlet, and Snom (who's decided to nom on the donut during the trip. The snack didn't last very long once she decided she liked it, and *rolls* Snom gains 6 exp), he strikes a pose, and exclaims, "Welcome to my hometown, everybody! Follow me, I'll show you around!"
Fortunately, there only seems to be one way off the docks that leads to the bustling settlement, so there's little chance of Ampharos getting lost this time. And what a lively place it appears to be indeed!
Lively Town: Lively Town - Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
As Ampharos and Mawile lead Team NW to the Town Square, Daxter sees a large variety of shops present, as well as a large variety of pokemon. Some of the shops look familiar, but some seem to be completely different to what Daxter is used to seeing in Sahra Town! The town seems to be divided into two layers, and the majority of the shops are in the upper layer's main square.
- A Snubbull is having a conversation with a Murkrow in front of the ever present Kecleon Shop near the entrance to the Lapras Travel Liner's dock, staffed by both a green and a purple kecleon as usual.
- a Duskull behind a counter at the large building in the lower square is having an argument with a Meowth. There's a sign above the counter that says 'Duskull Bank', but it seems to have been hung over another sign that isn't readable from here.
- Many different pokemon walk in and out of the ever familiar Café Connection at the opposite end of the main square. Seems like it's much busier here than in little ol' Sahra Town!
- Another Hawlucha's Slam School can be seen near the town's exit.
- Cofagrigus's Glorious Gold seems to have a branch here too, right next to the Kecleon Shop.
- A Klefki is juggling countless keys at another shop, trying to organize them and making quite the racket in the process. A sign on the storefront says Rockin' Lock. It's next to Hawlucha's Slam School.
- Several Krokorok can be seen running around the town, dropping off packages of...something at various buildings, mostly in the lower level of the town.
- A large, blue building can be seen over the tops of the buildings on the north end of the town. A large telescope can be seen protruding from the top floor's domed roof.
"I'll meet you at the base, everyone. Feel free to look around town if you like, Night Wardens. The Expedition Society's headquarters is to the north when you're done. We need to head there so we can figure out where these weird storms are appearing and which locations we're going to check out first."
"Until then, Mawile! So, Team Night Wardens, anything strike your fancy? Must be quite the sight compared to dusty and dry Sahra Town, no? Allow me to be your guide! If you have any questions at all about my home, I'll be more than happy to answer them!"

With a massive and obvious interest Ziggy-Kee watches and listenes what the two Eeveelutions are doing... He cannot help but to smile to himself and even wag his bushy tail a bit as he does so. Pride is still radiating from every hair of his black-and-white fur coat; ' Guess 't was right t' follow Arcanine's advice an' STAND UP for what I wish for, haha...', he thinks for himself. ' These Magnagates sure are SOMETHING!!1' His respect for Espeon and Umbreon as well as the awe and honor or being able to work with these two is skyrocketing to heights that a smol crittercoon like himself would have never guessed to even exist.
He does not hesitate to step into the activated portal, anticipated and thrilled of what adventure is about to unfold! ( ÒωÓ)و☆
Still processing the fast travel and all the noise from the crashing waterfalls around (and the feeling of wet paws and a moist fur), Kee suddenly stands still, staaaaares and smiiiiles at Espeon, takes a deep breath and then strikes a pose that basically DRIPS with excitement and eagerness. "Heck, it's so 'xciting Imma might pass out on the spot, ahaha! If ya trust me enough t'lead tha leading part to dear-me, I shall do do an' bring us safely through this Undersea Tunnel, yeah!!" In a more serious tone Kee adds " Though since ya know this place and say that this Magnagate Dungeon 's quite different from any mystery dungeon we'd 'xplore on tha surface, do tell an' wan us if we come across any oddities that might pose a threat, k? K, thanks! *cough* Onwards an' down that corridor we go then!~"
(There's only one way to go right now, which is down the corridor - so that's where Kee opts to head.)

(I'm so, SO sorry, Dragonstrike. Life....got busy for me, so I was unable to post until now. Still pretty busy, tbh, but I'm not going to skip out on this game anymore!)
Phoine's Swapping pitch was highly intriguing to the lil' metallic birdy. The ability to switch bodies with somebody you trust? Fascinating! Bit odd too, but mostly fascinating. Being able to fundamentally change who she was, even if only temporarily, opened up so many possibilities for her! Though she'd have to be careful to pick a proper 'swappie' - she couldn't just let anybody waltz around in her esteemed body. And the thought of potentially Swapping hers with a Male was.......well, it filled her with an odd sense of trepidation. Or a Genderless Pokemon, even. Hmm, okay, there was DEFINATELY a lot to ponder over about this service and it's worrying implications.....
(Un)Fortunately, Platina didn't have much of a chance to inquire further about it before her Team self-appointed guides/co-workers shuffled them off to their appointed place of depature, much to her disappointment. Shoot, she submerged herself too deeply in her mind again! That was something she'd really need to work on fixing, if she was going to be a vigilant, productive member of her Team! Oh well, their will other times she can sate her curiosity about Swapping with another Pokemon. 'All good things come with time and patience', as her....parents often said.
She did make sure to wave and bid farewell to Sandshrew and Hippopotas before she left and wished them well, however - it would be rude not to return their own, especially since they saved her and inadvertidly opened a whole new world of possibilities for her to explore!

"My my, how interesting. How did you even conceive such an idea, let alone find ways to make it reality? You must tell me when we have the time and chance, Lady Espeon and Lord Umbreon...."
That is what the shiny bird had to say as she observed the pair of foxes went to work making the Entracard pattern that would take them to the Mist Continent, looking highly curious and a bit awed the whole time. The power to traverse anywhere, so long as you knew the right pattern and had the know-how......it greatly appeal to her the wanderlust that nestled within her spirit! Oh how it would have been a boon for her and her dear friend.....but that was then, and this is then. Dwelling on the past was fine, but it would not do for her to lament possibilities beyond her then, or in the present too, for that matter.
It also somewhat irked her, much to her chagrin - it made her magnificent ability to fly look poultry by comparison, and that bugged her no matter how silly it was to feel like it.
The portal's rather Flashy appearance nearly caused her to collapse into a pile of glittering feathers from the shock, but with an extreme amount of decorum she did not, and with that very same energy she boldly stepped into it with her newfound friends......
.....and the next moment, she was there in the Mystery Dungeon. Her very first trip into one, in fact! An exciting prospect.....where it not for how water logged it was. Even before she had to register her surroundings she grimaced when she felt water lapping at her talons, looking down at them and around with a odd sort of unsurprised disgruntlement.
".....Oh. Of course this place would be predominantly Water in its theme. *Sighs, covering her face with a wing* This will be..... problematic to deal with, but I must carry on none the less."
Kee's enthusiasm did cheer her up a bit and gave her something to focus on, and she easily consented to his Leadership. She was too new to the group to take charge of it, in her opinion, and for now she wanted to focus on getting adjusted to the Adventuring lifestyle than worry about multitasking that and governing a group of Pokemon.
" Lead the way, Star-Eyed Kee. I'll try to keep an eye out for anything suspicious or dangerous too, though I can not guarantee I will do a good job at it. *Looking a bit bashful* Vigilence has.....never quite been my strongest Trait, I must admit."
For now, she's content to follow along with the group on the ground, as she didn't want to exhaust herself too much by flying around. She was a young bird made of Steel, and it was not yet easy for her to keep herself airborne with all that weight!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
