EraMemory: I don't know what you should do. To use the method with higher probability to give a shiny sounds most logical. On the other hand, I think doing the same (when shiny will not come) will be boring, and changing actions should break the boredom.

Meet Atreyu, inspiration drawn from the Neverending Story. I've actually not yet finished with a perfect breeding of this (was only trying to work up from 4IVs) but it popped out earlier than expected, perhaps to compensate for the ridiculous time I spent with the others, so heck with it.

It's so adorable - my honest congratulation to obtaining it. What do you mean by "That was fast", how many eggs or rather boxes did you have to hatch for this one?

Less than one box. Like I said, it was an unintended product; I had only planned to set up a proper 6IV/5IV parenting line, while working with 4IV parents, but this popped out early.

I actually got a shiny gierger in my first run. I trade it to someone who would appreciate more, so It hopefully has a good home.

Now soft-resetting for Urayne shiny. Urayne fight is relatively easy, but the LONG ASS cutscene really torments your soul before you receive the proper Urayne.

I've literally been breeding all day today for a shiny Geigeroach! On top of that I'm prepping for a Nuclear playthrough so your Nuclear shiny luck is killing me right now xD I envy you!
