If it's true it's probably just a bunch of bug-fixes, but I too am hoping for the post-story stuff. As to the rumor part, I too am curious as to Key's source.

Hearsay certainly. And I'm not sure that it was supposed to be public information yet. And I heard it in passing only. Unverified source. So I figured it could have just be wishful thinking, or a knowledgeable source that spoke out of turn.

Anyways, I too would be interested in Angelure town. But mostly Baitatao and a way to more easily hatch eggs with slow steps. And also a way to breed egg moves onto genderless pokemon...

That sounds pretty unreliable sadly, I wouldn't trust that rumor then. :C

Tsk, rumors that are not only vague, but compelling enough to want to put some stock in them. The possibility that its a potential leak that could get punished for revealing said tidbit of info is also....vexing...


I just wish the dev team were a bit more transparent with the progress they are making on the game down here on the forums, and not confine it to the Discord and/or keep such info so cloak and dagger. My enthusiasm for the game itself has mostly waned by this point due to the incompletion of the project, since its hard to sustain interest during the long stretches of time between updates and with zero/minimum communication. Not that I don't appreciate all the hard work the team had put into the game, but eventually even a fan like me slowly becomes apathetic to the fate of Uranium, especially when I have no idea how or when it will be fully fleshed out and completed.

If that's the case, I'm feeling lucky and thankful that you're sticking around in the first place still. The Forum wouldn't really be the same without you, dear... *carefully clenches one of your sleeves*

There aren't any announcements on Discord either, or at least none that I have spotted from lurking occassionaly. IF there's be however, I'm sure it'll be shared on this board as well; if not I'll just ask for it or do it myself!

Progress in FanGames always takes looong, sometimes more or less depending on how big and capable the team is, how busy they are with life, and so on. We can be lucky that we have the full Main Game for Uranium at all! Although I'm not actively playing anymore as well, I'm shyly positive that development is still ongoing in the background (give me my Baitatao please!). In the meantime it's usually the community and the fans who keep things lively, but seeing how the forums have so quiet when still remembering how active it was not TOO long ago - it's a pretty weird turn.

You know I like you guys but I still don't understand why you're so reluctant to go on Discord and keep in touch with the community there. You're already on your computer so what can a couple clicks cost you in opening a second tab?

There isn't any ETA for the next update, but if you were there on Discord you'd know that progress is being made : Narshyl is trying to help however he can amibu and L with the sim; L just teased a new "Release Box" functionality that may or may not be operational in the next update; I'm still trying to add stuff here and there on the wiki... So yeah, I find it a bit unfair to blame the forum's decline in activity on the staff when all you have to do to get info is open a second tab and lurk, at best...

Ok people I'm finally done completing the movepools!
-All TMs and Tutor moves have been added to the mons' pages.
-Have a look at the first evolutionary stage of the line for egg moves, as evolved pokemon may have some unlisted egg moves. (I'll harmonize the lists of egg moves between evo stages some time, but not now.)
-Moves that can only be learnt by prior evo stages aren't systematically listed on the evolved mons' pages. Some day I'll look for these moves but that's not what I'm doing next.

In the meantime, if you do notice some that can only be learnt by prior evos and that aren't listed on the final evo's page (usually they'll be levelup moves, as members of the same evo line tend to learn the same TMs and Tutor moves) ping me @shademonkey and I'll add them. Even if you're able to add them yourself, ping me all the same, I'd like to know ;)

On a side note, when the sim is fully operational and the competitive scene finally takes off I'll expect you to show up from time to time in UCC to take part in the writing of competitive guides, Windos ;) If I remember correctly that's what you were most interested in, right?

Interesting that you say this. You seem to know far more than I do-which on my end is basically nothing at all. I had heard about a sim of some sort. Maybe the release box you spoke of was the update item for discussion-or part of it anyway. I have no way of knowing. Sorry to be vague LordWindos. I think you know about my past heavy involvement with the League. You might have even been one of our Gym Leader candidates at some point. So you might then be able to conclude that I have better things to do that worry about timelines. I just wanted to know. And I figure if I heard something that others might have as well. I don't generally put stock in things without verifiable proof if proof is deemed necessary. Such was my reason for my original query in the first place. In the old days, the forum was the best place to find out current information. Lately however, I agree the forum has been bypassed for Discord. 

I feel that Discord is sometimes too fast paced for me. I like hands on posting sometimes better. I maintain a presence there because of my former involvement with the League, as well as other reasons.

Just out of curiosity, I inquired of a more knowledgeable source than I...

And I offer what amounts to speculation only.

It appears some of this may stem from the fact that the Anniversary of Pokemon Uranium is August 6th or around that time.

As such, the 'speculative' talk is that there will, at a minimum be some sort of Mystery Gift to commemorate the Anniversary of Pokemon Uranium. 
Furthermore, this 'release box' we mentioned is a special feature made for breeders that allows one to delete an entire box of breedjects at once-without having to do them individually I assume. I can see people accidentally deleting whole boxes of pokemon here... we'll see rofl.
Furthermore, the battle sim you all seem to already know about. I was unaware of the specifics of the sim, but Narshyl explained it to me a bit better. I think Narshyl does work on the Sim program. 

here is a summary of the sim specifics if you don't already know them (I didn't):

-It is ranked or unranked (I think,) but on ranked there are not a lot of players in Ranked right now for the ranks to be accurate
-you can create teams using pokemon you don't own, but they will probably end up being level 100
-you can import a team of your own in the battle simulator
-this is accessible by going into the pokemon uranium lobby and clicking on 'Battling' and then "Battle Link'
-Never give your Battle Sim ID out to anyone. Period. This is not the same as your in game 023456 id. If you give out your battle sim id, then others can play using your name.
-The Battle Sim seems to be temporarily down at the moment. It needs to be restarted by L or someone. But hopefully will be working soon. 

--The above may or may not have anything to do with the speculative minor update if there is one.  But the above are at least what is being talked about most unofficially on Discord. Hopefully or all of it is true. A new MG would be nice.
