Back at the guild, the team is greeted by 3 faces this time at the end of the day.

Job Done!: Mission Clear! - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX

The first of which is Silicobra, who seems to be ecstatic that the team seems to have found the X-Eye Seed.

"You found it, yesssssss?  Give it to me, pleasssssse!"

The second is Mincinno, while the third is Sheriff Flygon (who's got a very tight grip on the very groggy Monferno).

"Thank you so much for defeating that messy criminal!  I don't know what he was after, but I can rest easy knowing that those who do wrong will go punished!"

Flygon seems to be similarly grateful for the help.

"Let me thank you for your assistance as well.  Been a lot more outlaws lately, and I'm finding it difficult to wrangle them all myself.  You bunch continue to stay on the good side of the law, and we'll get along just fine.  Alright, come on then, ya scumbag.  Let's get you to your cell."

Monferno just silently glares at the party as Flygon begins to lead him out of the guild.

Team OS receives 250 Poké and 3 Tiny Reviver Seeds to split among themselves as they deem fit as rewards.

Neither Pyra or I have much to say to the Quest givers, so let's move to what she does after all that!

To put it briefly, Pyra would only want 1 Tiny Reviver Seed out of the Total Quest Rewards, for reasons already stated earlier. She's not greedy (yet), but she recognizes that having some emergency Healing Items is very much a good thing (if only to stop her friends from worrying about her too much). She DOES, however, want to Sell those Gold Scarves ASAP for the group and bring the Poke back for them to divvy up (or save) as it pleases, and would offer to run that errand for everyone (kuz she's that helpful!). While out doing that (or afterwards, depending on where the place is), she also try to find/remember a/the place where Treasure Chests can be opened up, just to the group's Chest pried open for the group to dig into (if they're not closed by now). Lastly before diner and bedtime, she'd pay a visit to Cofagrigus to show off her Gold Bars, gushing about her discovery and how very pretty they are, as she wants to share her newfound appreciation for the rare metal with the enthusiast that got her into it!

When Kogeki get teleported he almost puked his morning lunch. After a few minutes he finally talk. "...I think I never be used to this teleportation thing." Kogeki approach Floette and ask. "I need some water please. A single  cup of water would be cool. Still need to get used to use those badges for teleport. I feel like a Ursaring grab me and shake my head like a ragdoll."

Kogeki would like to sell the Gold Ribbons they found inside the dungeon, and check out what is inside the Treasure chest along with Pyra anyone else.

After Kogeki get water and Flygon thank them Kogeki talk something with him. "No need to thank us officer. Just doing our job. Also...That Monferno talk about someone he work with. He probably work with a partner or maybe someone who is his boss. We didn't find anything else inside the dungeon, but maybe it could be wise send a few more experience Guild members to the Hall of Magic again too when possible. Maybe in that place might have clues about Monferno partner/boss we might have missed."

When that was done and Kogeki sell the items, he said to Floette. "Floette, is by chance the Guildmaster is available? I have something important I need to ask that I forget to ask him/her?"

(Is the Guildmaster master male or female? I kinda forgot that since we been doing that exploration thing for a while)

Silicobra receives a graceful one-claw-salute by Ziggy Kee in return for their greeting, accompanied by a very wide smile. "Ohoho, we 'ndeed found what ya've been looking for! (･ω<)☆~" He disappears into his brimmingly full guitar bag and returns with a seed of a dull-green and polka-dotted shell carefully in between his jaws.

(I couldn't find artwork of that Seed in particular to embed it here, sob... Dragon, where did you find this describtion of an X-Eye-Seed?)

Just as carefully it is then given over to Silicobra. Kee can't help but STAAAAAARE at that seed regardless though... "Hey Silicobra, mind 'f I ask what this seed actually does 'n what's so special 'bout it? I mean, just looking at it kinda makes me feel dizzy, haha!" He's more curious than ever about that.



(Concerning the received Tiny Reviver Seeds, I've still got 2 and my bag is full, so if anyoneelse wants to keep the remaining two after Pyra took one, just do so.)

Dax breathes a sigh of relief once the group returns to the Sahra Town. Such a strange feeling, to feel relief upon returning to a desert. Especially for a water type. But it has been a long day, and Dax wouldn't mind a little rest. That would still have to wait though, because the group has some rewards to cash in! Selling the scarves should make the group's pockets feel a little heavier, and he'd definitely be interested in seeing how much money the group made with their finds for the day. However, he realises that there is something that might be more important.

"Uh, I'm with Kogeki. That dumbass monkey was working for someone, and I think Guildmaster Delphox should know about it. Will she be accepting any visitors at this time of the day? If Monferno was working for someone, then a bunch of other criminals may be, and that would mean that criminals are organising. And organised crime is never a good thing. Let me know about my share guys, I'll trust you to divide it up fairly." he says, leaving the group to talk to the Silicobra and Minccino clients.

After speaking to Guildmaster Delphox, Dax would also like to meet up with Lumia and the unnamed Klink. Those two just switched to a civilised form of living, so it'd be nice to check how they're adjusting.

All the shops are closed (or closing) for the day by the time Team OS returns to Sahra Town, but Floette's happy to remind Pyra that the pokemon staffing the Gastrodon Shop are more than capable of opening Treasure Boxes in return for a small fee.  She's also who Daxter ends up speaking to regarding the newly recruited pokemon.  "You should definitely take that Treasure Box to the Gastrodon and find out what's inside!  It could be a lot of different things!  Tell me what you got later, alright?  Hearing about what our teams do and find in the field never gets old!  And as for your new friends, it's gonna be a little bit before they're fit for visitors.  When I saw they'd arrived, it looked to me like you guys had done a real number on them!  They should be awake by tomorrow morning, I think, and I'll be more than happy to arrange for whatever tasks you need them to do once they are!"

Silicobra hisses in pleasure as they describe what an X-Eye seed does.  "Well, they caussssse your eyesssss to crossssss like sssssssso, then you can't tell apart friend from foe.  It'ssssss quite a usssssseful item.  Ssssssssome prefer to usssssse them for purposssssessss other than battle, though, if you know what I mean...."

The sheriff and Floette are both startled to hear that Monferno was apparently more than just a lowly thief.

"Organized crime?  In MY town?  If you lot hear anything more, report to me immediately.  I'll squeeze all the information I can out of this monkey, but this is very concerning.  I don't think this ruffian was likely of much importance, but you be careful on future jobs.  I've got a careful eye on the town and the nearby areas, but I can't do much of anything to interfere in the nonsense that goes on in Mystery Dungeons.  If he is indeed part of an organization, then that's the most likely place where you'll run into trouble if you've stirred the pot.  Alright, you lowlife, time to get moving!"

Floette blinks a few times as Flygon talks, then seems to snap out of it as the sheriff leaves with his capture.

"...huh.  Well, maybe I don't like hearing ALL the news about what you run into.  Don't worry about talking to the Guildmaster about this criminal too much, though.  I'll tell her personally and work on organizing a more thorough investigation, alright?  You guys should get some rest and focus on doing a good job tomorrow.  If you still need to speak to the guildmaster, though, I can arrange an appointment tomorrow morning.  Fair?"

"Sounds fair. I might call with the Guildmaster tomorrow morning. As for rest...yeah, that would be great."

Hummmmmmm..... Kee's not quite sure whether he can follow Silicobra's words, and equally not sure whether he likes these words of them. But one thing's for sure, now he's 100% more curious about these so-called X-Eye Seeds. Giving Silicobra some sort of sly smile: "Hmm, now that sounds kinda odd - yes could be useful in battle 'ndeed, hehe!~ Thankies for tha info, an' enjoy your good stuff brought by us then! (･ω<)☆" He waves and winks as the sandy snake wiggles away.


Some rest and calm downtime would be right up Ziggy Kee's alley now, but before that: Dinner Time! ....R-right? He hasn't eaten anything since Lapras has been carrying them all to the Hall of Magic, and it's starting to show.

Does that include the Gastrodon Shop? If so, I guess Pyra will save what she planned to do for tomorrow then; otherwise, she'll take the Treasure Box to them ASAP to get it opened (and let's assume that the group gives Pyra enough Poke to pay for it to be opened in that case, m'kay?). In any case she'll give Floette a nod and her characteristic smile before stepping back and letting the rest of the group chat and voice their own concerns and curiousities.  She doesn't really give one lick of a Berry about her group's newest members right now, so she feels not a twinge of sympathy for the grevious harm everyone inflicted upon them. Much the same could be said about the threat of organized crime in Sahra, but she does carefully keep Flygon's warning to them in mind for the future.

Silicobra's explanation of the X-Eye Seed DID cause her eyes to narrow briefly, and privately she vowed to torch any X-Eye Seed see got her mitts on so that their wretched influence affects no one. Her short time being Confused instilled a deep loathing of all things that affect the mind or thought process (along with a healthy disdain/distrust of Non-Kogeki Ghosts), and she rather ardently believes in the sanctity of the mind for all (one of the few true morals she has). In other words, those Seeds and Items like them are going to be toast if she gets to them first, for NOBODY deserve to have their thoughts and perception of reality and those around them so foully corrupted, hazed, or manipulated.....

All that aside, the brimstone imp is ready for Dinner too, and then it's straight to bed to her if nothing else pops up! Though she doesn't show it, she is quite tired from today's events, so filling up and then resting is now at the top of her to-do list.
