Marcus's workspace is just as messy as it was before, though he clears a space for Kee to put down the materials he found.

"Weave the Monferno hair into a ribbon to attach to the stone, huh?  Yeah, I think that'd work.  I'll need a day to craft the item, of course, but I think that should be doable.  I'm definitely interested in seeing what combining the hair of a Fire type with a rock that absorbs sunlight might do, too.  Good idea."

As for the pearl, Marcus's eyes go wide when he sees Kee pull that out of the bag.  

"...you snatched that from a Spoink?  Well, I hope they're not going to come after you looking for it, then..."


"...anyways...you're not the first pokemon to bring me one of those pearls.  After a Spoink's picked up one of those, nobody but them can use it, really.  Not sure how that works, particularly since it doesn't seem to benefit them in battle in any significant way, but I do know it's very hard to use those as materials.  I've not quite figured out how to do that yet.  Psychic powers are...weird.  Don't quite understand them.  If you could figure out how to reactivate the pearl, though, desync it from the Spoink that you got it from, and if I can figure out how to craft with those kinds of materials, I could probably do some interesting things with it.  It is a bit big, though...gonna be tricky to make an accessory that's realistically wearable for smaller pokemon.  Maybe if I ground it down into powder...hmmmm...I'll think about it.  Or if you were to evolve and become bigger and/or taller, then maybe it could be turned into an Accessory.  Or failing that, some kind of item to hold."

Kee's hYPed!!1 and eXiTEd1!1 to hear that it's possible for the craftsman of a Cubone to create that Accessory for him! There's more tail-wagging and more smiling-widely from the furry crittercoon of a raver/punk. "Thank ya Marcus, thank ya!! Am certain it'll come in handy durin' further adventures of mine then, hehehehe!~"

As for the Pearl... Ziggy Kee just shrugs unamusingly when Marcus expresses concern over Spoink possibly coming after him. "If they'll come to get their precious pearl back, so be it then." Doesn't seem to be scared of that happening at all. He ponders a lot about what's told to him about this Pearl however, carefully rolling it between his paws on and on. "Got it. Ya're right on it bein' too big for a proper Accessory now; I mean, it's bigger than I am... *light chuckling* ...for now, that is. Am gonna keep it though, an' see what I can further do with it. Can't find mahself b'lievin' that a beautiful thing like this bein' useless, haha..."

I'll flash forward to this to keep things moving.  You can assume that the prior events won't affect it.  If Pyra and Kee also want to join this conversation, they can.

I don't especially want to, and Kee's answer would be more or less akin to what Kogeki said (as in, 'continue with their stuff while keeping their eves open for more hints into that direction'). But I think I'll wait with progressing Kee's actions until that conversation with Delphox is done.

Woops, I missed this part completely! Hmm.....I believe Pyra would elect not to join the meeting, as she doesn't really want to interact with Boss Delphox unless absolutely necessary since their mere presence seemed to irritate them from what she recalls from her first meeting with her. No need to raise their ire and make things worse for herself/her friends, especially after Kogeki's most recent faux pass with their daughter , so for better or worse she'll leave that meeting to the spiritual ninja and Dax.

With Pyra:

"...yeah, you're a lot like her in some ways, all right...look, I can't make any promises.  I can try to talk to Ponyta about this but...well, it's hard for her to let go of the past.  And I gotta watch out for her.  Wish I could say more, but...*sigh*...it's not my story to tell.  There's always two sides to every story and disagreement, though.  I think you should keep that in mind."

Blitzle then turns and leaves without saying anything else to Pyra.

With Kogeki:

Braixen's just standing in a corner, pacing.  Once she notices Kogeki, she just turns and silently stares at him, very similarly to how Delphox does.

Once he's done speaking, Braixen simply replies with a short, "...is that all?  Apology accepted and all that, but I'm a little busy right now.  Have a lot on my mind, so if you're done, I'd like to keep thinking without being bothered."

With Kogeki, Daxter, and Karen:

Delphox continues to stare while Kogeki is responding to her question.  When Kogeki starts talking about his skill with a weapon, however, that stare changes to a raised eyebrow and a curious look.

"Well, I do hope you continue to do good work for the Guild, then.  I've already assigned Team Stripes the job of investigating the depths of the Hall of Magic further, so there's no need for you to worry or bother me about that.  And as for your weapon...well, I'm hardly worried about that currently.  However, I don't know if you're aware of this yet, but there's another rumor that's been circulating recently.  A rumor that seems to suggest that a group of humans may have come to the Sand Continent recently.  You wouldn't happen to know something about that, would you?"

[no one]

Upon the Guildmaster asking them what they'd like to do from that point onwards, Dax just shrugs vaguely.

"Well, we don't actually have any more leads about this 'boss' that the Monferno mentioned, so all we can really do is continue going on missions and stuff. We might hear more about it if we bust more criminals, so we'll keep an eye out for them. Not today though, we actually have a few errands to run in Sahra Town, so we're not going on any missions today."

When the Guildmaster asks them about humans in the Sand Continent he begins to grow nervous. They probably weren't supposed to tell anyone about that. How did she know anyway?

"Oh? I'm assuming that doesn't happen much around here. I don't put any stock in rumours, because it's so easy for anyone to start them. We could look into it if you'd like us to?"

[Spiritmon]

With Braixen:

Kogeki nod his head. "Okay then. See you other time I suppose." Kogeki then leaves Braixen to her thoughts and go do his thing with Delphox meeting.

With Delphox:

Kogeki raise a eyebrow and then speak to Delphox. "A group of humans? Coming to the Sand Continent? Don't know anything about it. Like my friend here don't put stocks in rumors. But we could check those rumors if that's your desire Guildmaster."

"Also, thank you for letting me use my weapon Guildmaster."

Kogeki try his best to not make the same mistake he did once. He keep a cool head while talking about it. Marcus warn them to not speak about their true identity. They need to be careful.

[Dragonstrike]

Karen follows Daxter and Kogekis' lead.  "Yup, we can keep our eyes and ears open for information if you need us to.  More likely than not that we'd hear something, I think."

Delphox stares at the three pokemon before her for a moment, assessing what they're saying to her before responding.  "Very well.  If you wish to look further into the rumors, talk to one of the mailmons.  It was one of the Pelipper that first claimed to have seen the lights descending from the skies near the Sand Continent.  I have no more I wish to speak with you about, so you are dismissed if you have no more to say.  Though if I were you, Kogeki, I would be careful about who you show that weapon to in the future.  Such things are not commonplace here.  Revealing such an item at the wrong moment might cause a lot of assumptions to be made."

[Spiritmon]

"Understood. We will get any information about those rumors. I will be careful about my weapon skills too. But those human rumors, the coming of those human would be a good thing or a bad thing?"

[Dragonstrike]

"It has come to be seen as an omen of things to come.  When humans arrive, disaster tends to follow them like a wild Mandibuzz stalking a free meal in the desert.  If there are indeed humans on the Sand Continent, I would suggest you keep a close eye on what's happening around you."

[Spiritmon]

"So...they usually mean trouble. Alright. Find the humans and keep a eye what happens around them. Understood." Kogeki keep his cool while talking about it. "Daxter. Karen. Guildmaster. If you excuse me, I need to sell a few things from our last mission and do a few meetings. Maybe do some training later too."

"Speaking of which Daxter, if you desire a friendly training between us, just tell me. We can go to the training room later if you want." Kogeki said those words and then off he go to open the treasure chest with Pyra.

[Dragonstrike]

Kogeki heads to the Gastrodon Shop to meet Pyra, where the two slug pokemon happily greet them.

"Well hello again!  What brings you to our shop today?  Do you need information?"

"Or do you have a Treasure Box that needs to be opened?"

After a brief explanation, the blue Gastrodon nods.  "Treasure Box, huh?  Alright then, I can open it for ya in a jiffy for 150 Poké.  A small price to pay for getting whatever goodies are inside that box, right?"

Karen, meanwhile is still with Daxter after they finished speaking with Delphox.  Something's clearly bothering her.  "Um, Daxter, could we find somewhere quiet to talk for a moment?"
