[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

When Daxter reach the training room, Kogeki has been doing a last phase of his training process. He stopped his physical exercises and was now doing some breath training. A sharp body need to have a sharp mind to properly work. His hands was close to one another, like he was doing some praying, and he is trying to maintain the balance in his body with one leg. 

Kogeki felt Daxter/@no one familiar Aura and he stop for his training for a second. With one Quick Attack, he appear right Daxter face, his paw almost hitting his face. But Kogeki stop in the way, not actually causing any damage, but problably startling the aquatic Charmander. "Gladly to see you accept my training invitation Dax. Are you ready for some old fashioning training friend?"

(Since we didnt decided the terms, I will put the terms here)

1 - No heal items allowed. Healing moves or held items with healing powers (if have any) is allowed.
2 - Its a 1x1 fight. No partners to fight along with ya.
3 - Its banned the use of Will Points to either ignore pain or add a extra dice to your moves.
4 - To avoid reaching Primal State by accident the first one to reach 1 or 2 HP its the one defeated. I prefer to avoid us getting any Primal points in this stage of the game, thank you very much.

"Alright then, love. We can look into it later if you can't find anyone to help you. Maybe you can think of someone who might know more in the meantime? I'd stay, but Kogeki's been asking for some sparring for a while now. Doesn't seem fair to keep him waiting does it?" Dax says, taking slow steps backwards before turning and running towards the Training Dojo. Reaching the dojo, he decides to seek the master of the dojo. If he remembered correctly, the master was a Poliwrath, so it'd be best to try and seek that guy out.

"Hi. One of my friends was here, and we were gonna train together. A sparring match or something like that. Is he here?" Dax asks the Poliwrath once he finds him.

Once Poliwrath takes him to the training room, and Kogeki does his ninja shit right into Daxter's face he takes a startled step back before firing off at Kogeki.

"Watch it mate! One day, you'll sock the wrong Pokemon in the face and they're gonna use you as a mop in return. And yeah, I'm ready when you are. Master Poliwrath, what rules would you prefer us to fight with?"

A/N: Those rules work for me, but I asked Poliwrath for rp purposes just in case Dragon wants us to do something different.

Karen goes off on her own into Sahra Town to see if she can find Pyra and Kee, then!

When Daxter arrives at Poliwrath Dojo, the dojomaster himself gives the Charmander a quick nod and a gruff grunt as a greeting.  "Yeah, he's here.  Let me show you to where he is.  Very impatient, that one.  Don't think you should keep him waiting."

The dojomaster chuckles a little when Daxter scolds Kogeki for that feint, but he's quieter while Kogeki's lists the terms of the 1v1.

...and then he laughs.  Guffaws, even.  "Gahahahahahaha!  You think that wild pokemon and other teams will take it that easy on you, little ghost?  Gahahahahaha!  You want to practice fighting, it better be until fainting!  I doubt you'd last more than two moves against this weird looking Charmander if you gave up fighting at half your strength!  Gahahahahaha!  Don't worry about fainting, though.  Cofagrigus supplies the Guild with an ample amount of Reviver Seeds and Apples in exchange for setting up shop here, so I've got plenty sitting around for training purposes.  I'll give you both one Reviver Seed each, and whoever uses theirs first, loses.  No sense in putting one of you out of commission for the rest of the day, right?  Or if you really want to make this interesting, I could give you two or even three of them!  Gahahahaha!  No taking those out of this training room, though.  Anything you don't use, you have to return to me.  It's Guild property.  When you're ready, I'll referee your little duel.  Heh.  Reminds of the old days..."

Kogeki didn't said much about Daxter scold. "Well, I just wanted to see how you would react about this speed Dax. I not exactly a powerhouse such as Kee or Pyra, but in terms of speed, I pretty good. A ninja must adapt to the weapons he have on hand before train in what he lacks."

Kogeki simple close his eyes and patience explain his reasons to Poliwrath. "I no fool Master Poliwrath. I very aware of the Wild Pokemon and Guild members lack of restraining in their power. But let me ask you: If someone of your dojo suddenly begin to devour other Pokemon just because they can, you would do it? Just because other Pokemon don't take easy on other people, should I do the same? If a Guild member leave a injured and almost dead Pokemon behind, or another Guild member in need, should I do the same too?"

"They are not me, and I not them. I not a fool until I, or someone who knows me very well, say otherwise."

"However you do have a point." Kogeki look at Daxter. "It would be disrespectful for us to fight without using our full strength. Very well. I accept those terms."

"Each one of us will have 1 Revive Seed, and the one who their Revive Seed first, loose. Or if you want Daxter, if things end quick in this fight we can try a match. 3 fights, and the one to win 2 of 3 wins since Poliwrath offer the Revive Seeds to be used.. Pick your poison Daxter since I invited you to this battle you can decide the terms too."

Kogeki then wait for Daxter response. Kogeki was stoic, silent and serious, as he always do around fights. Even if doesn't remember much of his human life, he is still a warrior, and he always try to be ready for a battle."

Dax listens to Kogeki's convoluted reasoning and shakes his head in amusement. "Oh don't be so bloody dramatic mate. And stop arguing with Pokemon so much more experienced than you! Seriously. Not a very healthy thing to do. Just a word of advice: Even if you disagree with something, just keep quiet and do as you're told. Might turn out much better than you thought! Glad you're open to fighting the Master's way. I'll bet he knows his stuff. I'd say we should decide on whether we do a best of three after the first round. Ready when you are!"

He pauses before taking his place in the room before turning to Poliwrath. "Yeah I'm a pretty weird Charmander. I'm pretty sure I've seen Charmander like me before somewhere, but most of the ones I know of are Fire types. Never seen my kind before? Anywhere? Really intrigued as to why I'm so different to the other Charmander. You can probably tell. Asking too many questions. I really can't remember much of anything... Eh. Screw that. Let's just fight Kogeki."

Dax stands on one side of the room, with his claws out in anticipation of the upcoming fight.

[Spiritmon]

"Well, I not arguing. I just saying my own point of view. If I disagree with something is sometimes better talk about it. And I do as told if they explain the why of do it and I agree in do it. It's my essence to question. If I wanted to do everything what they say, I would become some sort of soldier who follows every order, not a ninja."

"Yeah. Let's go. Let's see what will prevail in this match: My Phantom Speed. Or your Draconic Power. Let's see that shall we?"

Kogeki was also in the other side of the room, one hand in his back and a hand raise to show his power in battle."

"Gahahaha!  I envy you for your naïve take on things, little ghost.  I prefer to let my fists do the talking!  May the best fighter prevail!"

Daxter moves first, poised to get the drop on Kogeki!

To describe the room since I haven't already, it's a rather plain, small cave with no decorations besides one.  A mat has been laid out on the floor, and Daxter and Kogeki are each standing at opposite ends of it, while Poliwrath is observing from a distance.

Kogeki look at Daxter and tell him. "Well, I think we should begin already, don't you agree?"

Kogeki zips forward right before Daxter can react, aiming a fist at the Charmander's gut!

Daxter gasps as Kogeki's fist makes contact, but unfortunately for Kogeki, the blow wasn't strong enough to make Daxter completely lose his concentration on the moves he's about to use.  As the Riolu backs away, the lizard begins to make a low pitched, menacing rumbling sound.

...however, he coughs mid Growl as he gasps for air.  He breathes in, trying to recover, then exhales and blows a flurry of Bubbles at the Ghost!

Kogeki is almost floored by the powerful (relatively speaking) attack, and Poliwrath guffaws in the background of the battle.  "Gahahahaha!  Told ya so, little ghost!"

Kogeki stands slowly, and attempts to lunge for Daxter in a desperate attempt to turn this duel around in his favor...

...but he stumbles and misses the attack entirely.

Poliwrath is still laughing in the background.  "Well, this definitely looks like this is going to be a quick one!  Give it all you've got!  Don't stop fighting until the end!"

Kogeki felt that one strike. He stumbled in his feet, feeling almost defeat. But he refused to give before trying. "Hpmft. Not bad. Guess we indeed gonna do it that Best of Three. You tanked that Quick Attack of mine. But don't think I will just stand here and let myself be defeated without a fight."

Oh my... OH MY INDEED. Fiery Pyra ending up misinterpreting Ziggy Kee's snuggling into her arms caused him to (figuratively) sweat nervously and gasp for air, as heat continues and continues to rise up within him. He's literally feeling as if he's preparing to use Overheat. Or Burn up. Or both moves in quick succession. Thank heavens his face is currently obscured!

STILL however, oddly enough, he can't seem to find the courage to fight/wiggle himself out of Pyra's grasp, too pechaberry-sweet was it to be that close to her. She obviously enjoys it too given her humming and stuff. Awkward and 'mildly' embarassing this public display was, he wouldn't want to kill the joy she's finding in the shared affection... And before he knew, a careful smile forms on his face. Yes Kee does identify as aro ace, but he's definitely not above lowkey and dear TLC.


...And so he too found his mood being dampered to a degree once said TLC ended - yet he'd neverneverever would admit it openly, noooope!!1 - and shook himself. The mess his mind currently is is quickly put aside however as his curiosity is instantly hooked Pyra rummaging in her bag, Kee watches with amplified interest and eagerness. And as she lays out all the various Items, he GAAAASSSSPED and JUUUUMPED and started to claw, lick and nuzzle every single one of them; he displays honest and pure delight and laughs like a madman as he does so. "Looooooot, so much 'n so precious Loot, ahahahaha!~ (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Good job, Pyra-dear, good job d'finitely, this will all come in SO handy in our exciting 'dventures to come, AHAHAHAH!~~" *short break to stare at her* "Oh, ya sold 'that' (the Big Nugget) for these? That's fine, very fine!!~" In a swift (and pretty impulsive) action Kee rises up and licks over Pyra's nose/snout❤, gives her a BEAMING smile★, then pounces at the most shiny thing among the treasures: The disk conding the move Swagger.

"May I have this, can I have this, pleasepleasepleeeeeaaaase?~" He coughs, then suddenly is close to Pyra (as in, cheek-to-cheek) to staaaaaaare into her yellow eyes with deep-red bedroom eyes from the side, a most charming smile on his face and his voice mellifluous and sugary. "Oh the jooooooy~ I'd 'ave to toy with nasty foes by messin' up their minds via that p'rticular move, 's well as rise our own fighting spirits under tha just right~ circumstances... Only tha jooooooy~ of dear you lettin' dear me have the disk could possibly compare to it... Wouldn't that be looooovely~, my dearest Pyra?~"
