If I remember correctly, I think you either can't trade them or breed them, making it rather hard to get those special event Pokémon. I imagine they'll be available come next season, so you could just wait for those dates to come. Otherwise, you might want to try and hit up the Breeder's Discord, as they are usually generous people when it come to gifting Pokémon. Not sure how generous they'll be when it comes to exclusive Pokémon, though....

You can definitely trade them, but they're not supposed to be breedable.
