Here's a lil' something on one my favourite fakemon in Uranium : all hail Glavinug ! (pun intended)
For the most part I agree with what @Reeveelution said in this thread, but then hey, why not compile everything we've got on this pokemon into a proper guide?
So, Glavinug. Good offensive stab combination resisted by water types, ok bulk with 95/80/115 defensive stats, disserved by a terrible secondary Ice type and thus weakness to the Rocks. Special attack is good, not going to lie, but its Speed is a huge letdown and is most probably what is going to hinder its playabiity.
Three excellent Abilities in Natural Cure, Swift Swim and Snow Warning, granting the sea beauty some much needed versatility. Movepool is shallow, consisting of stab attacks and very few coverage options, but it does get reliable recovery in Recover though. It kinda wishes it had Scald. Glavinug is definitely not a bad pokemon, but not the easiest to splash into a team either.
Elegant as a Slug
Glavinug
Snow Warning
Choice Specs / Life Orb / Choice Scarf
Timid nature / Modest nature
252 SpAtk, 220 Spd, 20 HP, 16 Def / 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd, 4 Def
(30 IV in Special Attack) / (30 IV in Special Attack)
-Blizzard
-Hydro Pump / Surf / Coral Break
-Hidden Power Electric
-Sludge Bomb / Dazzling Gleam / Taunt
Snow Warning disrupts weathers otherwise more threatening than Hail, while making the accuracy of Blizzard perfect. The choice for a Water stab is up to you: Hydro Pump provides serious firepower but has poor accuracy and few PP; Coral Break is a Water-type variant of Psyshock with 80 BP; Surf is the middle ground option and is a nicely spammable move in general. Hidden Power Electric hits for a least neutral damage every pokemon that resists Glavinug’s stab combination (Daikatuna, Electruxo, Krakanao, Leviathao, Baitatao, Gyarados-M, Glavinug, Blubelrog, Brainoar, Vaporeon and Tubareel). The last moveslot is there for rounding up coverage and is literally the only options left in Glavinug’s shallow offensive movepool.

The choice of item defines the EV spread here. Using a Choice Scarf is only viable to catch your opponent off guard, as even with full investment in Speed, Glavinug’s low Speed BS of 70 greatly undermines its Revenge Killing capabilities. Thus, maxing out the damage output with a Modest nature is preferred. 4 EVs in Defense leave Glavinug with an odd final HP stat, allowing it to switch into Stealth Rock 4 times.

Choice Specs and Life Orb require the blue spread. 252 EVs in Special Attack for greater damage. A Timid nature and 220 EVs in Speed are enough to outspeed all positive-natured 65 BS Speed: slow heavy hitters like Flareon and Glaceon, Seikamater without a Quiver Dance boost, and offensive Metalynx. This spread also allows Glavinug to outspeed a plethora of defensive pokemon like Blubelrog, Umbreon, Vaporeon, Brainoar and Tubareel; and a couple 70 BS Speed that won’t invest much/at all into Speed like Haagross and Gargryph. You can then proceed on Taunting them to your heart’s content if holding Life Orb. 20 EVs in HP produce a final HP stat that’s divisible by 4 + 1 HP, and the rest is put into Defense.azer

A few calcs (don’t worry about the pokemon’s names, I computed the stats correctly)
Bulky Attacker
Glavinug
Snow Warning / Natural Cure
Life Orb
Modest Nature
252 SpAtk, 196 HP, 60 Def
-Blizzard / Ice Beam
-Hydro Pump / Surf / Coral Break
-Hidden Power Electric / Taunt
-Recover
Blizzard and Surf for stabs, HP Electric for coverage, Recover for recovery.
70 BS Speed is too slow to make Glavinug a classic 252/252 sweeper, so here we're capitalizing on its more than respectable bulk, hence the 196 EVs in HP and 60 in Defense. But we're still on a offensive set, so Modest Nature all the way. We're not bothering ourselves woth trying to get an HP stat divisible by 4 + 1 HP since we're likely to be slower than our opponent. And we're running Life Orb anyway.
I like to think that one day the meta will adapt and we'll see more sets running different EV spreads than the classic 252/252/4, or at least something different than full speed pokemon. That's why I consider investing in bulk over speed on offensive pokemon an ok idea, but if that bothers you too much you can easily pour some HP EVs into Speed. The point of this spread is that you can tank neutral hits much more easily.
Snow Warning is the preferred ability to inflict maximum damage with Blizzard, deal chip damage with Hail and disrupt the enemy's weather shenanigans, whereas Natural Cure makes Glavinug a good status absorber.
Calm Minder / Special Wall
Glavinug
Natural Cure
Leftovers
Bold nature / Calm nature
244 HP, 252 Def, 12 SpDef / 244 HP, 252 SpDef, 12 Def
-Ice Beam
-Coral Break / Surf
-Calm Mind / Toxic
-Recover
Being slow, an Ice-type, and weak to Stealth Rock doesn't exactly contribute to extending Glavinug's life expectancy, so choosing Natural Cure as its Ability lets it cure a Toxic poisoning or other statuses. Snow Warning is definitely a no here, as this Glavinug wants to stay as long as possible on the field, and Blizzard's only temporary accuracy would work against it.
If running Calm Mind, Coral Break allows Glavinug to hit specially defensive pokemon harder, making it a decent mixed setup sweeper. Bold nature and investment in Defense maximise Glavinug's overall bulk.
If choosing to make your Glavinug a special wall, Calm is the way to go. Surf has a better accuracy and more base power than Coral Break; Toxic cripples pokemon it can deal with otherwise.
This set deserves to be mentionned, but make sur Glavinug is not the only pokemon on your team that can tank a hit, as its Ice typing leaves it with an awkward matchup against a lot of opponents. Cocancer can sponge Electric and Rock-type attacks directed at Glavinug, while Dunseraph eats Fighting and Grass attacks like it's nothing. Glavinug also makes up for their double weakness to Ice.
Rain Sweeper
Glavinug
Swift Swim
Life Orb / Damp Rock
Timid nature
252 Spd, 252 SpAtk, 4 SpDef
-Rain Dance
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Recover / HP Electric
Glavinug sports the highest Special Attack BS of all Swift Swimmers so it is worth considering when building around this specific weather. Timid nature and 252 EVs in Speed allow Glavinug to reach 134 Speed, which is enough to outspeed by one point neutral natured, BS 81 pokemon under normal conditions. That includes ofensive threats like Luchabra, Baariette and Dermafrost. Adamant Gyarados, which fares decently well against rain teams, is outsped by one point, meaning it won't be able to Taunt your Rain Dance or Recover. Glavinug can then threaten it with a x4 effective HP Electric.
Setting up a Rain Dance might be a little difficult for Glavinug due to its common weaknesses and lacklustre physical bulk. Therefore, our majestic sea slug enjoys team support like Reflect from Prankster Antarki, and likes Wallbreakers like Mega Electruxo or Theriamp to deal with bulky Water-types before it can sweep a weakened team.
All in all, Rain Dance Glavinug is not a bad pokemon, but needs more team adjustment to show off its full potential than the Choiced versions do. Using it as an offensive Suicide Lead with Damp rock might be an option, but you won't be able to prevent the enemy lead from setting their hazards.
Other options
Heal Bell : would provide team support in healing your other mons' statuses. Foregoing a stab move would be the best thing to do while keeping Toxic and Recover/Rest for longevity. Weakness to Stealth Rock prevents Glavinug from switching in as much as it would like to though.
Rest : in conjonction with Natural Cure means the ability to heal yourself completely, but you're going to have to switch out if you don't want to wait the two turns of sleep, thus offering the opponent many a setup opportunity.
Reflect : Glavinug would gladly boost its staying power but does not really have room on any set for Reflect...
Hidden Power Ground : rounds up coverage against Steel and Poison types. Tracton and Haagross are the main threats you want to surprise with it.
Icy Rock : Hail abusers are too few in Uranium for Icy Rock to be efficient. Snow Cloak users are... well, Snow Cloak users ; and the only Ice Body users are Titanice, Colarva and Frosulo, none of which can reliably take on a defensive role. Besides, Glavinug would much rather hold its Lefties or boosting item.
Summary
Glavinug's greatest asset lies in its ability to fire off strong Ice move while tanking moderately powerful special hits. Its abilities let it perform different roles on a team, but its slow Speed tier keeps it from shining against popular picks. All in all, Glavinug would make a solid Uranium UU, as its stats aren't honestly that bad, the meta may just be a bit too aggressive for it. Just my opinion. You guys tell me what you think of this
