[Meta thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure : Celadon City Vandels
Hmmm...so could I send Arbok over to Emily for healing as part of the summoning of fresh pokemon, get the fresh pokemon buffed in preparation, and use a Full Restore on Mew?  Sounds reasonable to me based on the restrictions...

I'd suggest spending a couple of Super Potions on Mew instead, and save the Full Restore for latter on in the match, as reduced healing effectivenss doesn't matter much with 1/2 * Infinity is still Infinity. Other than small suggestion, everything else checks out fine with me, mate!

Ah yes, right.  6+3+3 = 12.  Welp, sounds like a decent plan to get things started...time to type this up...

One more question, actually. It's a potentially cheeky idea I had last night.

Could Yang, Kingdra, and Mew actually start attacking Buzzwole now?  Kingdra's a Sniper and Hydro Pump and Bubble Beam are long range, Aura Sphere is long range and never misses (despite being resisted. And Focus Blast is long range too), and Thunder could, in theory, strike anywhere in the range of the rainstorm Yang can summon (and with terrifyingly increased accuracy in the rain as well.  Plus, Buzzwole is technically Flying right now, so it should also do increased damage)

Was just an idea I had last night since there's a very small window of opportunity to give a couple of orders before Buzzwole lands, and Reiner and Co. know exactly where the big bug is headed currently.

Well yes, you COULD attack them now, but you would have to forfeit the chance to do any boosting/weather summoning moves with Yang/Kingdra/Mew, and Buzzwole in turn ALSO gets the opportunity to attack anyone of your members in turn; essentially, it is a psuedo combat round where Reiner's Pokemon goes first, but the Ultra Beast still has a chance to get a hit in. Boosting and Healing alone doesn't prompt the eldritch abomination into attacking until the first Round, so that is the safe of the two options in regards to using your chara's Pokemon moves.

*Rolls Dice*

Initiatives:

Buzzwole: DEX (*4) + Survival (5) + Roll (4) = 13
Mew: DEX (*6) + Survival (3) + Roll (5) = 14
Kingdra: DEX (*5) + 3 + (5) = 13
Yang: DEX (*5) + 3 + (1) = 9
Breloom: DEX (*6) + 3 + (6) = 15

Breloom goes first, then Mew, then Kingdra, then Buzzwole, then Yang

Nice roll out you have their, mate!
