Awww, and I was all ready to see Gaspar get creamed too
Kidding, it's a 'friendly battle' and all, so this makes some sense in character
There is ONE important piece of info Arial still needs, though...what's Cooler's ability? Sheer Force (since you can choose to NOT activate it in Pokrole if you don't want to, unlike in the games. That extra damage is killer if applied properly, particularly if you start getting reckless...), or Torrent (moar Water! Max soaking power in the rain! *Blub*)?
Another thing to note about Transform is the book explicitly states it also copies the target's Attributes (I think the Skills and Specialties are implied to be copied as well? They are tied to individuals instead of groups in the base rules, after all), so would Gaspar be using Nelly's stats instead of Arial's in this case?
And yes, this is a very important question since Mew can do this too, so...
I was half thinking of letting that happen, but I recall I'm deliberately trying not to be a Killer Gamemaster despite the difficulty of my campaign. Its hardly fun having your counter getting wasted because you forgot to que up some attacks afterwards!
Cooler's Ability is Torrent, and his Surprise is + 2 Vitality, since Nelly picked this one up from a trainer looking to make a good trade as a Totodile. She believe she got the better end of the deal, and I'm inclined to agree!
Hmm.....given that Pokémon in our campaigns drawn their Attributed prowess from their Trainers rather than themselves primarily unless Wild/Special, letting them auto copy an STRONK being's stats could be problematic.....but then again Reiner is hardly a weakly himself, and Arial's Gasper has a Choice Scarf to limit what he can do with the move. Up until now I've been having it just copy the Moves, Abilities, Surprises, and Stat Changes, so changing the way it works now would seem odd. Still, you make a good point with the rulings in the book AND this change would make the move more in line with how it works in the base games, so going forward Transform will also duplicate the Opponent's Attributes as well. However I still can keep the Attribute secret myself, so as to not give more intel to you guys to exploit ruthlessly!
So Gasper Cooler would have + 2 VIT and + 1 STR and DEX, with the afformentioned moves and Torrent and Nelly's own stats backing it up. What a beast!
Incredible. This will save us in the future I sure.
Windos, I will have to delay a bit about my post. I have no idea how to proceed now. It will take a time to make my next post. Sorry...
If you want to Dynamic Punch 3 times, go for it! Nelly's got a 14 D6 base accuracy pool for Brawl based moves, so using it 3 times isn't a problem. However, you could also use Waterfall (which is powered up by Torrent and Rain), Crunch, or Ice Fang up to FIVE times this round as well and still be able to crit the last hit if you aren't pained (nor using Ice Fang, since it has a -1 accuracy penalty)...hmmm...
Something else I'll note for you: Blaze, Torrent, Overgrow, and Swarm have an awesome additional effect in this campaign. On top of giving you +1 more damage die for every pain you're experiencing, you can also trigger the ability once per encounter to do the move's maximum damage guaranteed to your target (remember when Valarie's Typhlosion did that to Reiner's Kingdra with Burn Up and Blaze at 1 HP? Yeowch! Even at -2 damage, that STILL hurt!).
So yeah, that's fun. As long as I'm correct in thinking the other threshold type abilities work the same way, that is..

With Choice Scarf he could conceivably pull of 4 Dynamic Punches per round, but like you said spamming Waterfalls/Crunches/Ice Fangs has its appeal.....
Keep in mind that if trigger that part of the Ability, its other effects immediately go away for the rest of the Encounter, and I'll be rolling for Recoil damage equal to the max amount inflicted on the opponent. So using Torrent can be a boss killer, but it can also cream you if you are not careful!

Um guys, would it be a good idea to close down the thread for the night, and give each of you time to formulate your own thoughts on what to post next? Don't want to pressure you or anything, so some down time might what you need....

Yeah, I'm still thinking about how exactly to phrase things with Weavile and Erika...I have a general idea of what I want Reiner to say, but nailing the specifics is proving a little more difficult than anticipated...

You could always list the points you want to get across to them and the way you want them interpreted, and I can meet you halfway in the middle in that case. Otherwise, I'm down with letting you think about it for so long as you please mate!

He already has in Round 1.
Nelly has 4 Dex (Cooler has 5 due to DD), 5 Fight, 3 Brawl, 2 Vitality (Cooler has 4 due to his Surprise, giving him 9 HP and 4 Defense instead of 7 and 2. Gaspar copied this surprise too, which is awesome), 4 Strength (Cooler has 5 due to DD).
Just apply those stats to the move you're using.
Unfortunately, you don't know how many levels in Evasion Nelly has yet, so you're going in blind if you want to use that maneuver.

Hey Windos. I would like to ask something regardless Xenoqueen Nuclear moves. How it would work the moves Protobeam and Fission Burst? How it would be the power, effects and acuracy?

Proton Beam would have an BP of STR + 4, and would lower Sekemt's STR by 2 the first time she uses it. Powerful move, but one that'll eat into ya if you aren't careful! Those Rads are also a problem, since it dose out 35% of them on the target by default, so its a real quick way of nuking something to perfection if you are into that as well.
Fission Burst, on the other hand, is a STR + 15 move that is obviously not only Lethal, but puts out a crapton of Rads on everything it hits (Including Allies and you boy!) that survives (75% if I remember correctly) AND essentially can level a city block (or MORE, depending on the power of user/location you are at) AND more or less permenantly irradiate that area without Hazma or YEARS of heavy decomtamination/covering it all in a thick layer of Rad Prof Cement.
Its essentially a alternate, discounted version of Genesis Supernova, which means its the sort of attack you don't use unless shit has hit the fan H A R D , or you literally have nothing left to lose.

Unless Damp is in effect
Then it's waaaaayyyy less scary. Still kinda scary, but definitely not to the extent an unchecked one is.
