Shame the old Easter bunny Mr. Cottontail could not come back this year.

It would definitely be awesome if old MGs came back around at some point for sure.  (I missed the Easter Jackdeary due to an error on my part, unfortunately, so it's also partly selfish :/ )

Haha me too I lost my original save data so I lost the OG halloween and christmas MGs plus christmas Fafurr... But.... I due have an extra Easter Jackdeary if you want it!

Really?  Oh wow, that'd be spectacular!  Want me to breed you a particular pokemon in exchange for that?  I'd be more than happy to take the time to do that! Can't do any trades or breeding tonight, but I can tomorrow!

...plus, it'd give me some incentive to clean out my boxes on my original save...hehe...

Of course dude! I have an extra and you seem like a swell enough person so I can hand it over. I can trade tomorrow but it would be around 7:45 pst I have a busy day tomorrow with work and the schools... As pokemon to trade if you have an extra of the OG halloween and christmas MGs I would really   that or christmas Fafurr. If not I'll take a Snopach I need it for my pokedex again after completing it already before...   nothing special just a standard Snopach.

I read on the wiki that this new Easter mystery gift has a shiny form? If you want to shiny it you can just save in front the mystery gift handler right? Its not set as soon as you download the mystery gift into the game?

Yup, just save in front of the delivery guy before collecting the MG, and reset without saving if the pokemon isn't shiny.  The menu sprite is all you need to look at to tell if the pokemon is shiny.

Just bear in mind that the nature and ability are random for this year's bunny, too.  Shiny ones aren't likely to have a perfect nature and ability combo, unfortunately.  Thankfully, it's no different from a normal Sheebit aside from the sprites, so that doesn't matter a huge deal in the long run.

It's not too late for you Phantom, you can always make a new save and claim another mg :p

But I'm lazy...But I really would like to try my luck this time...
Probably a dumb question, but how do I make a new save file again?
EDIT: Nevermind, I simply backuped the old one and then renamed it.

Noo don't do that unless something happens to your save, that's duplicating

Whoops. Well, now I did start a New Game simply from the Menu and it worked to perfection.
Sorry for my dumbness on that and thanks for helping, I never saw need for more than one save file until now ^^;
