*Facepalm* Great. Another fight until the death. Why I not surprise. Cant complain since that adventure would not be interesting without some good fights...I just hope I dont die like last time when I was in the blink of life and death.

It ain't a fight to the death, but something bad will happen to Arial if Melchior falls in battle! The Spirit didn't say he wanted to kill people, only make them suffer, after all.

At least the encounter has a difficulty of Low, I guess?  This shouldn't be super duper difficult.

Felicia can talk, actually.  She has to use Assist to do so, but she can!

Jessie and James' Meowth is a rather...special case.  Mostly because he can't use moves since learning how to talk.

There's also a reeeaaallly expensive Surprise! for a pokemon learning how to speak without losing their ability to use moves.

The 'Pokémon Can Fully Comprehend and Communicate Using Human Language Surprise' has a 'Floor'/Minimum Cost of 200 XP, but that price is only for naturally Smart and/or Brainy Pokémon , like Slowkings and most Psychic types. If your Pokémon is a feral beast or not so smart, the XP cost rises accordingly. Having Insight Surprises on a Pokémon can make the PCFCCUHLS Surprise cheaper, and having high enough personal Insight on a Pokémon will have them learn how to act more Human like automatically, but that takes a Loooooot of Insight Surprises.

I could say that Melchoir can learn Assist as a Surprise, though, but I'm not sure how much XP that would cost him yet. He's a Cat Pokémon like Felicia and Delcatty, the two most promenient users of the Move I can name on the top of my head.
