On a different topic, how do you think I'm handling Taylor so far? Not doing her a grave injustice, I hope...

You're doing great so far (and it doesn't feel overly cheesy yet, either, so have some bonus points!).  

If ya need some justification for why she didn't let Reiner in on the plan to save Lucy, though, I maybe have an idea or two, depending on where Lucy was being held captive.

Nope, for I already have a rationale for why Taylor didn't pick up Reiner. Whether or not he likes it is another matter entirely, but its a pretty reasonable one I believe.

Butch and Cassidy? Who are they?

Another pair of Rocket Grunts from the anime.  They appear to be more competent than Jessie and James and are kinda sorta rivals to them (their plans don't backfire on them as often/spectacularly, nor do they have the same money management issues), but somehow, J&J are still the highest ranked grunts in Team Rocket.

They haven't made an appearance since the Sinnoh arcs, but they've been in the anime since the Kanto arcs.

Sorry for not posting anything so far today, but I've been researching the game thread about Riza and Taylor for most of the day in order to give them the most authentic/accurate reactions possible, so bear with me a bit longer please as I finalize my findings!

That's one of the reasons I have given up of the Pokemon anime. Why the hell a leader of a crime organization can be so stupid to give two highest position since the only thing they do is screwed things and be defeat by a eternal 10 years child and Pikachu instead of focus in capture OTHER pokemon. It anger almost as Ash eternal looser.

Thanks for the support, mates! Unfortunately, making my posts for Iron's game has sapped me of my creativity juices and energy for the time being, so I'll have to delay making posts for another day. I'm sorry about this, but rest assured that I WILL be making posts on the 21st! Third time's the charm, right? ....Right?

On the subject of the Jessie & Jame + Cassedy & Bunch, I'll say right now their all HIGHLY competent and skill members of Team Rocket in the CCV Universe, with J&J and Meowth being some of the top agents in the entire organization, and both groups essentially having carte blanc to operate as they please most of the time, so long as they their schemes/plans continue ranking in the Poke/Pokemon, which is a very rare privilege that Giovanni gives out only seldomly and often only temporarily. If you guys are interested, I can type up a more detailed post about J&J&M and their activities/accomplishments in the Meta Thread, as both Reiner and Arial should know about them (particularly Reiner, as he has an eye for the hierarchy of Team Rocket).

Do not worry my friend. I know it's difficult to put in balance be a player in Skull Ruins and be a GM in Celadon City. So that's perfect understable my friend. Like I always said, take as much time you need my friend.

That would be interesting. Some info about this universe version of them is a interesting thing. Want to see how those guys became what they are today.

So, as a quick little thing in case you were curious, I did a little reading on who the major players in Team Rocket are.  Figured it'd be interesting.


There's the usual suspects from the games and anime, obviously.

- Giovanni (boss)
- Archer (top ranked admin)
- Arianna (second in command admin)
- Proton and Petrel (other major Admins)
- Jessie, James, and Meowth (top Agents)
- Butch and Cassidy (other skilled Agents)

And here's where we start getting into the lesser known guys, the ones that don't show up frequently in the anime nor play a major role in the games.  (not including any manga exclusive members nor a potential Professor Larkspur)

Elite Officers
- Domino (one of the secondary antagonists from the first pokemon movie.  She reports directly to Giovanni, just like J&J often do)
- Iron-Masked Marauder (the inventor of Dark Balls.  Managed to capture Celebi for a short time with them, too.  He's not really a big fan of Giovanni, however, and often works alone)
- Matori (Giovanni's secretary.  She sometimes gives J&J orders in Giovanni's stead, and is sometimes even left in charge of groups of TR Agents as well.  She's quite a bit more than a mere secretary, and sometimes even leads an elite squadron of Agents known as the Matori Matrix)
- Gozu (an elite officer in the Matori Matrix)
- Pierce (he assisted J&J in the Best Wishes arc of the anime, but hasn't been seen since)

High Ranking Officers
- Attila and Hun (these officers are so BA that they managed to capture Rayquaza for a short period of time [as shown in a short scene during one of the movies], and they attempted to capture Raikou in the anime episodes.  While they didn't capture Raikou, it is unknown if Rayquaza managed to escape from them)
- Tyson (the officer who spearheaded the Lake of Rage incident)

Scientists
- Dr. Namba (one of TR's scientists, the main antagonist of the Lugia arc in the anime [not the movie, the episodes] and also who Butch and Cassidy report to.  Yup, B&C don't report to Giovanni very often)
- Professor Sebastian (another TR Scientist who's worked with Atilla, Hun, and Tyson on their projects)
- Dr. Zager (a scientist that J&J often reported to in the Best Wishes arc of the anime.  He also provided them with experimental tech during that time period)

Other
- Madame Boss (Giovanni's mother and former boss of TR.  The only pokemon she does not hate are Mew and Mewtwo, as she thinks she could rule the world by using them.  Owns no pokemon and exploits any that do come into her possession purely for profit)
- Miyamoto (Jessie's mother.  Disappeared while searching for Mew on Madame Boss's orders.  While she was presumed dead, Giovanni does not appear to think so, and Miyamoto may still well be searching for Mew to this day.  Maybe she's the reason Giovanni knew Mew would be at the Flower Festival in CCV?)

On top of that, Domino implied that TR has agents everywhere.  Though how true that is is debatable since the only TR members that have been seen in Kalos and Alola are J&J themselves.


On a slightly unrelated note to the above, while Giovanni didn't really take J&J seriously for a long time in the anime, after Best Wishes, he started taking them more seriously, and the classic Team Rocket Trio has been shown to be somewhat more skilled than previously.

Hmmmm...looks like an interesting class in some ways, tbh.  It also looks like it has some good chances to be incredibly OP late game.  Roleplay potential looks good too.

Huh.....well, this is all interesting knowledge for me, to put it lightly! Wish I had such a list with me when I was first planning my campaign, but alas it looks like I'll have to play catch me up on all this stuff and incoporate it as a hot patch of sorts , or add it in later down the line in future sequels to the campaign (If TR is still relevant to Reiner and co's plotlines by that point).

I'll post short little elaborations on those characters in the Spoilers list that won't be too spoiler/OOC , but I need to read over their entries myself to get a 'feel' and understanding of them myself.

I can say a few thing right now, though. Madame Boss has no part of TR as of the time CCV, and is currently living in semi-retirement out in a private and undisclosed location, leaving the management of TR to her son and handling her own business affairs that may or may not be tied to TR, global takeover of some form, and/or acquiring Mew. Similarly, Miyamoto's alive but is under Madame Boss' command rather than Giovanni's , but still reports in to the Big G every now and then on activities of relevance to TR. Jessie knows her mom is alive, but not much beyond that due to Miya's covert status, her not really being a part of TR's chain of command, and constantly being abroad and on the move.

Dr. Namda and Sebastian exist in CCV and are considered their top ranked scientist researchers, but much of what they do isn't relevant to Reiner's life due to him not being high rank enough to be let in on their activity on a constant basis and him just not being really involved in that sphere of TR, so I won't elaborate much on them. At least, not for now....

Dr. Zagan, on the other hand, isn't relevant or special to TR at all until several years down the line, when he gets promoted and transferred to Unova once TR sets up a more permanent presence there. Right now, most of TR is contained in the Tohjo Region, The Orange Island/Sevii Islands, and an unknown number of agents and small bases stationed thorough the world. They're fairly powerful, but still quite small and not very expansionist at this point in my universe. Giovanni may want to rule the world, but he knows that trying to rush that without the right infrastructure and firm powerbase is doomed to failure, and so he's taking the Torrterra's approach to growing his organization. If he could get Legendary Pokemon or Special People under his yoke and put them to the right and/or the most efficient use, though.....that would speed up his timelines and efforts by a considerable amount (Hence his interest in Mew, and his interest in Reiner's 'Chosen One' status).

Iron Mask is considered a traitor to TR, as he broke away from his organization and formed his own from all his loyal agents, underlings, and followers. He's currently in hiding/acting very secretly, so TR isn't hotly pursuing them, but rest assure that Giovanni and Archer want their head on a silver platter, and will reward anyone generously that can serve it up to them....

Anyone from the Pokemon Mangas , or any info from the various Pokemon mangas, does not apply to my campaign unless I say it does, so don't worry about that unless I bring it up later on.

I haven't looked into it, but I probably wouldn't want to be a Channeller in the first place. Maybe a Sorcerer, a Druid, or some varient of Shamen if I want to go outside me comfort zone with magic, but not that. I'm more inclined to play Tank classes like Barbarians, War Priests, or anything that can survive multiple hits and live to fight another day, or Support Classes just to help my party members out, and not play really esoteric classes.
