Hello guys. Well there is a idea i been wondering for a time. Lets put in this situation: You ofering in the GTS a Luxi Shine, in exchange for a Snopach female to breed and try to get a Snopach with goog IVS. Then youre GTS gets respond and you get a Snopach, but with poor ivs and wrong nature. My idea of update in GTS its especify your offering, for what price you offering a Pokemon. Lets say that way: You are offering your Shine Colarva 5IVS with timid nature in exchange for Slothom 4Ivs in HP, Speed, Attack and Defence. I thing this would make GTS a little more faire and you could be more specific in what you searching. What you guys think? What other upgrades the GTS or other online features would be a goog idea?

choose the species, the gender and the level of the pokemon is not enough to limit the abusive ones that give their bad pokemon for good pokemon
But anyway, there are trades with friends and the WT that lately is plagued by pokemon with 4ivs or 5ivs and various natures XD

Yeah but, its dificult to make a good pokemon from scrath with 4Ivs or 5Ivs. And before anyone says, yes, i read the guide of breeding. But seriously it would be a good thing have a GTS with a fair system of search. It would be wonderful. But i know it would be very dificult to make something like this, but a fan can dream sometimes.

Yeah. Imagined the possibilities. You put in the GTS a 6IVs Female Devimp with the price of a 6IV Masking. It would be great. A fair trade.

Doubt this can/will happen in the near future, I can only imagine how much coding involves and/or how much strain this might put on the free server we're using... In addition, even simple updates create bugs that people complained abt, imagine what kinda bugs and glitches this kinda changes can bring out

I agree with Monkey. I am no programmer/coder, but I know enough about this field to be sure that such an option would be rather hard to realize, and make it work without bugs. (I already can see cries of "Oh God, I lost my Pokemon due to this...*insert inappropiate curses here*) What I'd rather appreciate, is an option to "lock" the Pokemon you deposited on GTS with another player's or Pokemon's ID, so that only a specific person is able to trade their Pokemon for it. It would prevent snipes, while making it easier to trade with people all around the world, ergo in different time zones.

And I would abstain from putting a good IV Pokemon on GTS without negotiating a trade directly with someone on this forum or on Discord because of the mentioned reason.

I think it would be better to add an extra step to the GTS: confirmation. As in, the process would go like this:

1. Deposit a Pokemon and fill some basic requirements for species etc
2. Someone else offers you something under those requirements
3. You get to look at the offered Pokemon's summary and either accept or decline.

I think it is fine but then, the "someone else" needs to wait for the confirmation (which may take forever). In the mean time, his/ her GTS will be blocked, which is not very good for giveaway breeders.

I want to suggest a solution myself: Add one additional criterion for selection which is unique for each trainer, i.e. Online ID (or Trainer ID).
This way, you can choose the exact trainer you will trade with and prevent any loss (you may enter an incorrect ID, but how could that "incidental trainer" pops up from nowhere and snipes your trades? )
If you don't care who you are going to trade with, you may leave it as "any" or 000,000 (just like the gender selection).
This solution saves time for both trainers and is extremely safe (in my opinion).

By typing this, I suddenly think of an alternative solution: The person who deposits a pokemon may choose to set a security code (6 digits) and the corresponding trader must type this exact code to do the trade. If the security code is 000,000, no password is required.

There is another simple way (which I am using) : join Breeders Guild PU, post direct messages to each other, then do the trades swiftly.

I'd appreciate that one! And it sounds technically feasible, I guess, with enough effort and beta-testing.
