Need ya to stick with the 4 moves that were used in the previous Round, Mika.  There's a 4 move limit since this is an official League battle.

Can I still at least have Rapidash learn those two moves (Megahorn and Quick Attack) during this battle, and edited.

0 exp moves can be learned at any time for no cost.

One more note I'll leave about Freeze in this game, by the way:

Some moves can instantly thaw out the user and still allow them to attack with the move in question in the games.  They are as follows:

Flame Wheel
Flare Blitz
Sacred Fire
Burn Up
Scald
Fusion Flare
Steam Eruption

Those moves will retain that property in this game as well if they are used before the end of the Round.

A pokemon other than the Frozen one can also instantly break the Ice Block the victim is encased in by attacking it with a Super Effective move. Attacking it with moves that are not Super Effective can also still break it mid-Round, but I'll have to roll damage (the Ice Block has 5 HP and 2 Def and Sp. Def).

As far as the Strength checks at the end of the Round go...I'm thinking maybe sticking with accumulating 5 successes to break free to keep it in line with the other Status effects (effectively meaning 1 success on the Strength check deals 1 damage to the Ice Block, so a damaged Ice Block takes fewer successes to break)

On that note (Pardon me from intruding).....due to the 4 Move Rule and your re-implementation of the 'No-Spam' ruling, its almost impossible for a given Pokemon to conduct their full 5 Actions unless they either have a Muliti-Hit or RAMPAGE Move that can act as an extender, and even then the static Action Cost makes an Action No beyond 3 it quite prohibitive/risky for a Pokemon with 11 or less so Dice in their respective Dice Pool (If we factor in Pain at some point). This means that Rounds are either going to be short and hectic in League Matches, or a Trainer has to specialize in either Multi-Hit/RAMPAGE Moves and build his Pokemon with High Dice Pools in order to bypass that inherent limitation, which makes Skill Link (Or Compound Eyes), Own Tempo, and Pokemon with DEX Boosting Abilities that learn these Moves especially valuable/coveted for both NPC and Player alike. Just FYI, mate.

Yup, I'm aware of that little quirk when the 4 move limitation is in effect.

About to go see Detective Pikachu.  I'll be back soon to finish up this gym battle, though!

It was good.  Caught me by surprise at some points since it doesn't fully follow the game's plot.

Animation of the pokemon was pretty good, too.

There, covered all the bases, so let the Encounter proceed onwards!

Yeah, if Spirit wants Kogeki to join in on that search, I might have to do some rolls for him, depending on what you guys are doing.

Sure ya want to challenge the gym instead of looking for parts? Just want to double check that ya REALLY want to do that before I start rolling the encounter out.

I honestly want to continue searching for parts, but that is outstripped by my desire to actually DO something without waiting for who knows how long. That, and by doing the Gym Battle, I can get access to Snowpoint Temple potentially, so there's that for me to consider in my decision as well.

If necessary, Randolph can always drag his feet about leaving the city until he's good and ready, or just stay up all night and continue the parts search then. He's not a stranger to pulling long hours to get a job done, so in the end it's just a matter of when he'll get what he wants done, rather than if (Unless you railroad us/me, but I'm not going to worry about that now).
