Can't contact the Professor?

I just signed up, I searched to see if the topic has been made, but I'm new to navigating the forum so I may not have done it properly. 

Basically, the Professor's number is not in my phone, and I was wondering how to get his prizes and such. I'm not far enough in to have gotten Fly, so if all I need to do is speak to him in person then I can wait, but I'm sure he gave me his number at the very beginning. Any help is appreciated! 

Also, on a side note, I just realized I can update the game still, I've been on 1.0.1 since I first played. I'm just getting back into it again

Yeah, it was never programmed in, ever... And not sure how hard or easy the coding for that is, so it's not something anyone can do abt it...
Also, since the devs changed, you may wanna look around forum for how to patch your game

To get the rewards from Bamb'o, you simply have to show up in his lab and talk to him in person. Honestly, how is he supposed to reward you with stuff if you're not present?

Makes sense! I've been wondering about that since I first downloaded the game when it came out. I'll just wait until I get fly I guess and go back. I'm in Snowbank currently so I imagine it can't be too much longer.

When I was looking up 1.0.2 it basically said the original 1.0.1 stuff, so I'm assuming it's still the same patcher, is it not?

it's not. the original devs of Uranium (JV and Twitch) had to stop and cut all ties with Uranium due to legal reasons. The game is being developed by new people (@Androziel and @ReeNormies) under the radar. So you won't be able to update further if you haven't made the necessary changes so that your patcher connect to the new/right server as the old one's "plug" was "pulled"...

so if I'm at 1.0.4 is it actually a different 1.0.4? I'm confused.

The only way to make it to 1.0.4 is to be on the path of the New Developers. So it sounds like you should be good to run the Patcher.exe?
