I've done a fair few sprites for fakemon, just thought I'd throw them up here. I've linked the deviantArt pages, which have more description of each one.

First are sprites for a fangame idea I had:

My favourite one of these is Eterneon, love the aesthetic and backstory. Titaneon is cool too though, the steel blade tail is a fresh idea and different to what I've mostly seen (curved blades, like Smelteon or Metalynx). It looks great.

Thanks! Titaneon's design came from a flash of inspiration I had while watching Wreck-it Ralph where he goes into the tower in the shooter game and you see all the hex-patterned virus eggs. I realized hex patterning was exactly what I was looking for to make Titaneon (before, it looked like this, except I added the pattern onto this early version):

I like the new version of the Eterneon sprite, but it does need a bit of work...as-is it's hard to tell that it's floating and not standing on its hind legs. Pointing the tail down will fix that, I just haven't gotten to it. And then Viveon...well, Viveon's slated for a complete visual redesign. I like what I was going for, but the pattern is far too busy (glowing DNA lines are a bugger to draw even at higher resolutions, especially when there's supposed to be a bunch of them) and the current sprite isn't up to my quality standards.

Nice job on Titaneon's improvements! I reckon having that awesome big tail gives it unique character and also makes it more memorable.

I'm keen to see what you do with the other two, cos you have a cool idea for Viveon.

Oh, the new Viveon looks way better. More natural, more grace, and the glow of energy-lines add a nice touch.

And I somewhat missed to say... But I absolutely love your Ghost-Type Eeveelution. Finaly one that is not creepy or scary in some way, but a Guarding Angel for its Trainer.

I personally like the look of the old Viveon, as the rainbow coloring and the contrast with its body looked beautiful in my eyes, but to each his own, I suppose. Still, the new one is well made, and I loved all your other sprites as well, so phenomenal job Polaris!

I do too, but it's surely nice to see something different. A more 'positive' Ghost-Eevee.

I'm glad you like my Eterneon. To be honest, the concept is still slightly scary (at least in intensity), as it's an eevee that's so absolutely loyal and protective it refuses to go away even when it dies. Although it's kind of sweet too.

As for Viveon's old look, honestly it was too busy. I couldn't even make a sprite for it at normal resolution, I had to go up. And honestly, the outlining and body shape in that sprite were subpar.

that vivoen is lit *laughs at his own joke* im terrible I copied off of phantom for my characteristics here I need to be my self *thinks about yelling the rest of the sentence but decided not too* but yeah viveon is soo cute I want one now make a game Polaris so I can make a team of viveons heck i'll even play shwodowns CAP mons if viveon is a mon for it just for viveon
