I want to take Encounter No.3 please, that Snowboarder Dave. That penalty of Dex due to the high snow, will it be present in a Pokemon Battle too? If so, what if Kee has his Fire Types clear a small area from the thickest part of snow which will then be used for the Fight, would that remove the penalty?

Yes, the Dex penalty due to terrain will be present.  You could try to clear a small area, but the snow is very deep and continually piling up, so it would be a difficult task that would take a lot of time IC.

Ah, okay. Well, then no trying to melt snow, but since that penalty will affect both me and the opponent, it's fine and fair. A different question, is it legal if I swap one Pokemon from the party with another BEFORE the Encounter starts? I hope so for the sake of trying out a combo in a Double Battle.

That's fine since you don't know which pokemon your opponent will be using.

I'm still rather busy irl, unfortunately.  My workload increased when our department manager quit to move on to bigger and better things.  And we're also getting close to Black Friday, which also doesn't lighten the workload any.

I'm working on responses here and there whenever I have the time. Not paused, just slower than usual.

Thanks for making the post Dragonstrike. And we find something really neat. Great Balls, Max Revive, Max Potion, Charcoal, Destiny Knot and a good bunch of berries. @PhantomUnderYourDesk, by chance Kee have knowledge in breeding? This item could help a lot.

Fire Gems. If I recall, they can boost the power of a Fire Type move, but they are consume upon use. And with Focus Blast case I might need to think who I could give. Nagi and Nami could use a move against Dark types.

They do what they typically do in the games, just with pokerole equivalent stats. Bulbapedia's a good resource and friend for this kind of information.
- Occa Berry: -1 damage from Super Effective Fire type moves
- Cheri: no explanation required.  It's on your character sheet already.
- Bluk: typically only a pokeblock/poffin ingredient
- Watmel: same as Bluk
- Destiny Knot: When the pokemon holding it becomes infatuated, so does the pokemon that infatuated the holder.  However, this consumes the item.

So Destiny Knot is not a permanent move...that's complicated.
