[Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery
On the note of Dark Pulse, I'm honestly not a fan of the 'random target' thing it has in the book.  I'd like to try treating it as a typical single target attack as normal instead.

I'm considering it.  There are going to be move tutors present in that game, so it would theoretically be possible for a player character with the right training to do the same.

Fair enough, so I'm fine if you wish it to be single target. Would save you trouble of figuring out how to make that work, and possibly save the group some grief if 'Random Target' includes Allied Pokemon and/or our characters...

I open for that decision. A single target move without the dowside in be random is awesome to me. Dont need to be a spread Dark Pulse move, just be a single target without the problem in hit random target is already cool. Also Windos if you participate in the official campaigh (and me too in case Dragonstrike let me join after the arguments we fight before) mind if I could use one of your Pokemon on a training session? Kogeki could much be not only the fighter of the group but who knows the teacher of moves in this group. Gama with Dark Pulse could be a awesome option to learn via Tutoring Training. In exchange I might teach Hidden Power to your Pokemon if Dragonstrike let be open the option.

Also Dragonstrike, thats actually a interesting question: In case you permit Move Tutoring to be a skill used in the final version of the campaigh, it would be possible teach a Pokemon to learn Hidden Power? I imagining it could depends in how much difficult and powerful a move could be. Since Hidden Power is a special power withing a Pokemon, I imagining it would require a hight level of Tutoring Move Skill to teach another Pokemon.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Under the right conditions, maybe.  You are correct that it is a difficult move to teach.

Concerning Ran's Mining Attempt, I'm a bit curious as to why Stymph's Tailwind bonus wasn't applied to his DEX score (among his other Pokemon's efforts), as he did mention that as part of his method of mining. Not that it matters as much, seeing that the Dice for that Roll got everything he wanted in the first place, but hey, every little bonus counts, right?

Also, I want to say I don't plan on Ran being quite so antagonistic to any character anymore, so long as they don't do something seriously offensive to him or life threatening for no good reason. He's gotten the worst of his bad temper that's been resentfully stewing within him out of his system these past couple of days, so their won't be to much more drama coming from it anytime soon. Or so I hope...

Tailwinds usually help with speed, not necessarily with precision.

Also, I forgot.

So, basically that Scizor came from another universe? Mystery Dungeon one to be more precisely? Question is which timeline he came? Perhaps from Primal Dialga one? He mess with time and is evil.

In short yes.  If you've played the Explorers PMD games, this Scizor might seem familiar, too.

Dragonstrike, you waiting on Spiritmon to make his post in the Game Thread before you do responses with the others, or are you busy yourself today? Not trying to bug you, I'm just curious.
