Hey all, just wondering about the maximum "height" pixel size that can be used for pokemon's sprites in Uranium.
Would 256x ones work, or do they have to be smaller? (this is just for a personal project in Uranium that has no real meaning or reason, other than personal amusement)

I think front sprites are 80x80 and backsprites are double that. Does that answer your question?

I figured so, but I saw that some of the animated sprites had heights of up to 112x pixels, so I was just curious as to whether or not there was more flexibility in the spritesize requirements.
Thanks for the reply, btw!

That I don't know. The only animated sprites developed by JV and Twitch are the starters and Seikamater, so things may have changed, or maybe animations just work differently.
I think RPGMaker/Essentials will go ahead and try to display a sprite no matter its size, because fangames with Golurk often make him so ginormous that he takes up half the screen. It's just that things are optimized for 80x80. This is partially guesswork though.
