Kee's statement about his age seems to confuse the Cubone.  "24 year old...man?  You look like a normal young Zigzagoon to me...well, as normal as a black and white Zigzagoon could look, anyways.  You definitely don't look like any of the wild ones that live around here..."

Kee's second question prompts a more certain response, but also more questions.  "I'm afraid I'm not an explorer, no.  I'm merely out here looking for materials.  I've got most of what I came out here looking for, though, so yeah, I can lead you back to the town.  However...you lot aren't from around here, are you?  Where are you from, and how'd you get here?"

That was this time of Kogeki to talk. "We...dont actually remember. The first thing we can remember is all of us awaken inside the cavern. How we get there or from where we are we dont remember. Next, we been trying to find a way out and we get ambushed by a Spinarak and two Zubats. We manage to beat them without any problems."

"Could you help us please? We dont know where we are, and we could apreciate any help."

Kogeki was genuine be honest to Cubone. He simple didnt say they were once humans, because the Cubone might think they are crazy or worse.

"It'd be rather cold hearted of me to leave you guys out here to fend for yourselves, no?  I can help you.  I've got a small camp over that way.  Why don't you help me pack up?"

Everyone's stomachs rumble, and it's at this point that they realize they're feeling rather hungry.

Karen speaks up this time.  "...do you have any food you could share?  I don't think we have any..."

The Cubone chuckles.  "Well, it just so happens I do, young lady.  And I can definitely believe you all must be rather hungry if you woke up in Ultra Dark Cave.  Not a whole lot in there no matter how many times I've looked.  We can talk a bit more over lunch, then you can help me pack and we can be on our way back to civilization!  Sound like a good deal?"

".......Oh, so ya're no Explorer, that's a shame *sad Zigzagoon noises*" Kee slumbs down more at the realization that his hope was in vain. But he's still eager and curious about this Cubone as he looks and smiles at them, it's just that bit of admiration that fades. "Well, but it'd help us greatly if ya can lead up back into town, yes, thankies!~ I bet THERE I can become a real Explorer somehow, whee!~ (◕‿◕)☆"

Cubone's confusion about that statement makes Kee nervous, he tries to cover that with some melodic laughter. "Whooooops sorreeeehhh, I was still in mah role, been ageplayin' as an adult Ziggy with ma friends here, pay it no mind please! (￣ω￣; ) I, uh, look so different cuz I'm the rare original form of Zigzagoon, a harmless defect in mah genes made me look like that since birth, I'm totally fine though! ....Well, aside from bein' a bit of tired. And hungry."

Then he looks at the others with a questioning glance. "Uh, people, HOW did we end up here 'gain? Ya know I've been sleepin' for almost tha whole way so I don't really know!~~"

(...) "Sound like a good deal?"

"Definitely sounds like a deal!" Kee raises a black paw in agreement.

Kogeki nod his head in agreement. "Sounds fair. It is a deal."

About Kee question. "To be honest, I don't know. We woke in the middle of the room without any memories."

Dragonstrike, Cubone don't see odd in see a Riolu with black fur, a part of his head with exposed skull and freaking Kunai in his back with a scarf? Because if he thought Kee was strange, I can't see why he would think Kogeki was a normal Riolu. Unless Riolus is rare around here? Not to mention a Water Charmander and a flaming demon female.

Dax nods. "Thanks for the help pal. I hope it's not too much trouble. I always repay favours, so just lemme know if ya need anything."

The playful fiendess tenseness in her posture loosens up a bit when she and her allies Encountered no further trouble retracing their steps to the exit, a little relieved that no further trouble was going to assail them all here. A bit disappointed too, since she was curious about who or what those shadow stalkers were, but perhaps she was better off remaining that way. Some quandaries are best left unsolved, least they befuddle or malign with the nebulous truths they hold.

Upon exiting the pitch black caverns and feeling the almost scorching rays of the sun touch her bright red skin, Pyra couldn’t help but bask in it with eyes closed and a blissfully content smile. She could sense how the sunlight enlivened and bolster her inner Flames, making her little ‘head lamp’ grow bigger and herself feel more alive than ever. Ah yes, the bright daystar felt as lovely as she envisioned! Even the stodgy humidity was comforting in its own way, as it felt like she was being bathed and swaddled in gentle flames. Quite the fascinating sensation that Water could bring – perhaps she should investigate this further later, hmm…..

The dry and barren landscape, on the other hand, hardly phased, bothered, or stood out to the lil’ demoness. It was not much different visually compared to the caves, and it had nothing on that…..fiery and black place she was in while she was dreaming. The mountains surrounding them were somewhat intriguing, but not enough to distract her from drinking in the sunlight. Ah….

Her musings and sun bathing was (to her) unfortunately interrupted when she head someone unfamiliar calling out to her and the group, causing her to slowly blink her eyes open and swivel towards the voice, looking like she had come out of a torpor of sorts and a tad annoyed too. Huh, what? Oh…oh poo. Who and what dared stop her from drinking the sun’s rays, and rouse her from its infernal embrace? 

Once she laid eyes on the creature who disturbed her, though, her soft ire almost immediately disappointed as she took in all their details. There soft brown form, so similar to hers and yet so different. The bone club he carried, the sight of which made her claws involuntary clench, as if they were looking for something similar to wield. And the skull they wore as a helm, a grim sight for most many, but to her held a sense of comfort and beauty.

Pyra was captivated by the overall picture that was Cubone, her eyes glimmering with unchecked fascination, interest, and honest wonder as she stared at him. So absorbed in her starring that she more or less missed the initial pleasantries Kee gave the bone wielder, but their (Cubone’s) next comments snapped her out of it. And oh boy, did the brimstone imp snap to respond!

One second she was standing stock still and starring, and the next she practically flew right in front of the armored critter, grasping his bone holding hand with both her claws and dancing in place as she energetically greeted them.

“Good and gracious greetings, Cubone of the Sun Baked Earth! My name is Pyra, yes, She of Infernal Lands! Former human unknown, but reborn as a Devimp here and now! And I must say, indeed I must admit, you look so great and marvelous! Such a intriguing body you possess, and the bones you wear and wield look so cool and noblesse! Tell me, share with me please, where and how I might get a club like you wield, or really anything long and thick that’s good to hit bad people with! Oh please, share that and this and more about you, I plead!”

Thusly spoke, she let go of their hand and opted instead to prance and hop around the, giving herself a much more thorough inspection of the Cubone to further sate her curiosity and wondering admiration of them. That, and as a way to vent off her excess jubilation without picking the poor dinosaur looking beast and twirling him around in a dance, for if she did that how would she continue to inspect all of him?

Her rumbling stomach hardly distracted her, but armored critter’s offer to share lunch with her and her companions earned him happy gasp and then a nice warm thankful hug from her!

“Truly and really, you grant and off to us more boons than your company? I accept, yes, and will repay you someday hence for such generousness! That I promise and swear to you! Much more too, if you’re willing to share your bone secrets between me and you!”

Well……Pyra certainly seemed to take a liking to the Cubone. Question is, is the feeling mutual towards a exuberant demon like her?

Kogeki took a moment to approach Pyra and say something to Cubone. "Can you give a private moment please?" And pratically drag Pyra to a more private place. "Pyra...we cant just say to anyone we were human. For now, we must keep our humanity hidden for a while, until we figure out how the hell we ended in this situation. If tell anyone we meet we were human, they either:"

A - They will think we are crazy and not gonna help us.

B - Send local autorithies to go after us to imprison us, or killed us depending of the place policy.

C - Lie they believe in us and tell they are also human and warn any possible "allies" to that darkness you mentioned.

D - All above options.

Kogeki said again to the fiery demon. "Thats why we must keep ourselves in low profile and try to adapt to their culture and gather as much information we can and figure out ourselves who the hell we truly are and figure out our goals in this place. I not saying you are bad in trust, but we need to be careful to who we trust that information about humanity to someone who we only meet now. We barely know that Cubone, and who he is related, so please, lets avoid leak information about ex-humanity alright?"

Its not like Kogeki is angry at Pyra, by the contrary, he want to have good terms with the fiery demoness! But he is also worry about the group safety of information, and thats why they need to be more careful. If eveyone going to stick together, they must avoid unecessary danger.

When the scarred warrior dragged her away from Cubone, Pyra was not pleased one bit, giving them an impressively nasty looking glare and scowl for their intrusion.

"Why. Did. You. Interrupt. Kogeki?"

She slowly enunciates her question, which combined with the sheer Intimidating expression she was giving him.....well, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Once they explained themselves, though, the not-so-playful fiendess calms down, no longer angry at Kogeki but still sporting a frown. A smaller and more curious/concerned frown, but a frown none the less.

"......Very well, yes, I now understand, and heed your advice dog man. But your warning could have waited until later, at a time and opportunity whence our esteemed benefactor was not so keenly watching us. He already knows what I've said, and nothing I can do will unlearn him of that truth, so the best me, you, and we can do is not and neither say and pay any further mind to it , in his presence and other hence. We shall adapt and persevere in this world and complete our quest, through both mine, your, and our all friends power together. Now, forevermore, and to the end. No matter what. That is what I promised to you and all, and I shan't ever forgot it, nor strive not to uphold my world, no."

Seems like Pyra is taking everything seriously about her and everyone else's situation and question. It's just hidden beneath her bubbly and cheerful personality most of the time, and the fact that she prefers to not be overly grim if the situation or person(s) do not warrant such.

Case in point, after that conversation, she'd go straight back to interjecting herself in Cubone's personal space, happily and eagerly inspecting him with unbridled wonder and curiosity as she chattered this and that about his appearance and what Knowledge and Power he may or may not hold.

The Cubone blinks in surprise a few times as Pyra barrages him with information and literally dances circles around him, not quite sure what to make the young, energetic Fire type.

"Uh...thanks for the compliment, I guess?"

Kogeki pulling Pyra away so suddenly earns the two a puzzled yet curious look, but the skull wearing pokemon doesn't interrupt.  Once that private discussion is finished, he motions for everyone to head to his camp.

"Alright then, camp's over this way.  I brought a few spare Apples with me just in case I decided to extend my trip out here, so I should have enough to share with everyone."

Lunch is simple, but surprisingly filling.  Everyone gets a delicious Apple to eat and fill their bellies with, and everyone's able to enjoy it regardless of their species.  An old tree stump serves as a makeshift table, and Cubone has what looks like a small tent underneath one of the barren trees.

During the meal, Cubone has a few questions for everyone (when he's not deflecting Pyra's own ones, trying to save answering them for later.)

"Well, I know one of your names now, but I think some introductions are in order for the rest of us still.  Since we're going to be traveling together for the next little while, I figure we should at least know at least a little bit about each other.  Name's Marcus.  Marcus the Cubone, craftsmon.  And how about the rest of you?  Got any nicknames, or do you just go by your species?"

"And you're all certain you can't remember what happened before you woke up in that cave?  Don't know if you have any friends or relatives who might be looking for you?"
