HUMAN GOES MISSING ON MIST CONTINENT

Haxorus, one of the well known leaders of Team Paradise in the Post Town area, reported yesterday that his partner is missing.  The pair is well known for having stopped a global disaster, and it isn't unusual for Haxorus's partner to vanish for extended periods of time.

Haxorus reports that it's been over a week since he has seen the Raichu, however, and he's starting to worry.  "I understand that they're busy, but they usually check up on how the Team is doing on the weekends.  They wouldn't have left for a long period of time without saying anything about why," he comments.

This is only the latest case of a human going missing in a long string of missing pokemon cases.  Law enforcement around the world is baffled, as there appears to be no evidence left behind that would indicate where the humans have gone.

Paper and writing materials can be purchased for virtually no cost.  Stranger things, though, they don't really deal with.  "I'd recommend checking the local Guild if you're looking for a little excitement!  Adventures are their specialty, after all!  Granted, they usually only let experienced Teams handle the more dangerous missions that are likely to have valuable treasure, so maybe that's a dead end for you as well."

You guys haven't found a Big Apple yet, Spirit.  You found a Fresh Apple earlier, but Kee is holding onto that and wants to keep it iirc.  You'll have to discuss that as a group if you want to sell it.

The Kecleon are happy to buy that Big Nugget from Kogeki, though!  Karen decides to sell hers, too, but she doesn't want to purchase anything.

The Kecleon also seem interested in the Leaf Blade TM and Gold Ribbon, but not as surprised to see items like that.

"If you're willing to part with those items, we'll give you $2500 for the Gold Ribbon, and $250 for the TM!"

The green Kecleon pulls out essential items and sets them on the counter as Kee lists them off.

"One Oran Berry.  One Pecha Berry.  I have two Apples in stock today.  And for your safety, one Tiny Reviver Seed!  That's most of my stock today, but I should have more tomorrow!  I assume you'll be using a portion of the funds from selling the Gold Ribbon for this purchase?"

Meanwhile, the purple Kecleon is excited to answer questions related to Orbs!

"Ah, curious about Orbs, are you?  Yes, well, I get so excited about them, I turned purple!  They really are wonderous things!  That's why we call them Wonder Orbs!  They do all sorts of things!  Changing the weather?  Check!  Lighting up the room you're in?  Check!  Inflicting statuses on enemy pokemon?  Check!  Boosting your stats?  Quadruple check!  There's so many kinds of Orbs, and so many different uses for them!  You can only use them in Mystery Dungeons, though!  Strange things, they are."

"I'm afraid I don't have any particularly rare or interesting Orbs or TMs today, however.  If you're still interested, I do have an All-Evasion Orb in stock!  Only $300!  I also have an Escape Orb!  Only $150!  As for TMs, I've got one for Hyper Beam, as well as one for Sand Tomb!"

Kogeki turn his head to Kee/@PhantomUnderYourDesk. "What you think? Can we sell the Flesh Apple and share the money with the group? We need to sell that Flesh Apple right away to get more profit right now. That could help us a lot."

Kogeki also want to sell the Big Nugget. "Hmm, it seems interesting that Orbs...I not interested in Hyper Beam or Sand Tomb at the moment. I would like to buy a Oran Berry for me and 1 Escape Orb please."

Kee stuffs as much paper and berry juice as he can carry into a side-pocket of his guitarbag. Now he's got everything to note down stuff and keep some sort of diary, yay!~

When Purple Kecleon mentions the local Guild(!!!), Kee gets thrilled to bits, his fur bristels out of excitement and he can't help but to staaaare at them with an eager smile and open mouth! ヽ(°〇°)ﾉ "This town has a Guild, a REAL Guild? Whoah, thankies for lettin' me know, thank ya so much! I don't mind to start at zero 'n do simple jobs b'fore goin' on adventures, every Explore has to start somewhere, right?~" Then Kee snaps his head towards Marcus. "Marcus, pleasePWEASE tell me that this Guild will be part of yar tour...!" Kee's hope and anticipitation is almost tangible in the air.

Aaaaand the Gold Ribbon is gladly handed over to Green Kecleon, Kee also nods when being asked whether he wishes to pay with a portion of the fund he got from selling the Gold Ribbon. "Yus please, gonna take the rest of cash with me for now."

If the costs per Item given in the charasheet-template are still correct, it'll be

Kee will receive 2238$ remaining balance from selling his Gold Band to Green Kecleon.
If it's alright that Kee left the Boldore Crystal he picked up at Marcus' place, he's got just enough room in his guitarbag to store his purchase there.

Huh, 250$ for that neat TM/TR of Leaf Blade... Kee was believing it would be worth more. Still displaying a wide smile, he tells Purple Kecleon that he is "Keepin' a hold of this disk for now, I guess - No harm meant, but no amount of cash could make up for a fellow (read: recruited) 'Mon learnin' this move 'n saving us from trouble!~ Thinkin' in tha longer term here."

Ziggy Kee returns Kogeki's look, the fishes said Apple out of his stuff to place it on the counter. "That Apple's not 'fresh' anymore though, Kogeki - we pick'd it up yesterday, and should have sold it tha same day to get more cash for it than we'd get now. I'd rather keep it for now too - ya know, it's food, 'n runnin' around hungry is baaaad. I hadn't had any breakfast yet either!"

Right? Me outta-chara and Kee in-chara would rather keep a hold of that Apple now for ourselves, and I'm certain that we can't sell it for more cash than a regular Apple is worth.

Kee's got a better idea anyway. Upon having accepted the remaining cash he's got from selling his Gold Ribbon, he hands everyone ('everyone' means bar Marcus in this specific case) 250$ just like that. He seems embarassed and blushes faintly as he does so, but he means it. "Here, for everyone of ya. Just a small...gift I guess, do something nice with that cash or keep it, whatever ya may prefer. I could 'ave, uh, kept everythin' for mahself, but I don't want to...."

Pyra - who had up until then had been focused on practicing her emergent reading Skill on Marcus' newspapar - chimes in her agreement with the black 'n white crittercoon about that apple, looking up from the paper and giving them a smile and a nod. "Yes, indeed, that is most true and agreeable, Ziggy Kee! Aged food now can be saved for leaner times later, yes, and selling your Big Nugget have left you quite rich, so I do not believe you need to fatten your wallet's stomach present hence!" 

Since Dragonstrike has not explicitly stated she's Hungry yet, I will presume that she isn't, and therefore doesn't quite understand why Kee proclaims he's famished. And even if she was Hungry, she still wouldn't say anything, as she is currently prioritizing maintaining and increasing the group's stockpile of resources and exploring the town over answering her stomach's cry. She'll eat when she's starving or there's food cheap and in abundance for everyone, and that is that! Until then, she pretty much wants to continue looking around the town, particular the 'jail' that Flygon mentioned yesterday, the big tree, and the ocean side if there's enough time left in the day for that.

As for the Adventuring Guild, she's none too particularly interested in it, despite several Pokemon allusions to it or the punk star's own fascination and obscession with being an Explorer and part of that institution/lifestyle. It's not as if she hates or is totally apathetic to the whole deal, but right now its far down the list of her own priorities and curiosities/interests unlike with Kee, so she isn't too concerned or in a hurry to get to investigating it post haste.

Being freely given Poke by Kee was a shock to the lil' demoness, as she was not expecting to earn any such gain outside of Mystery Dungeon profiteering or plying whatever trade Skills she ends up developing, nor such generosity for pretty much doing less than nothing for them. She stares at the coinage in her claws in a debelieving daze for just a moment, before she quite suddenly hopped over and leaned down to give the 'coon with an 'tude a hug around his neck and a peck on the check, mummering gentle thanks to him.

"Oh thank you, my deepest gratitude for this gracious gift, Kee. Treasure and covet it, I shall, spending it vainly and unwisely, I shan't. Owe you now more than ever I do, but I'm happy to be great in debt to a sweet boy like you."

Just a quickly the moment ends and she pulls away, and Pyra is back standing with/around the resting of the group, hopping and shaking in anticipation to traveling to their next destination on Marcus' tour of Sahra Town!

The two Kecleon happily hand Kogeki an Oran Berry and the Escape Orb once he decides to purchase them and hands over the money for them!

Marcus doesn't seem very excited when talking about the Guild.  "Yes, the Guild's going to be part of the tour.  Last stop, in fact."

Yeah, the Apple's no longer Fresh.

But now that Kee mentions it again, yes, everyone is starting to get a little hungry.  Marcus chimes in once everyone's stomachs start rumbling, though.  "I know a place where we can get a bite to eat.  It's the next stop on the tour, actually.  Breakfast's on me!"

(Got nothing to say with Pyra in particular about that offer for free food, other than she'd give Marcus a thankful hug and some cheer for it, so ready to move on when everyone else is!)

Such gentle words(!), this kind hug(!!) and that peck on his cheek(!!!) cause Ziggy Kee to freeeeeeze instantly in Pyra's strong arms, and massive blush makes its way to his furry face. It horribly bites with his already deep-red eyes. Yet however, he's smiling, very timidly and meekly, but he does. "Eeeeeek, yar welcome, yar welcooooome, let me go, please lemme go! (>///<) Ya... don't have t'feel like ya're in mah debt now, really not, h-h-happeh that ya're happy, really!~ Hehehehe, she called me 'a sweet boy'...." Kee has to take a breather and calm down for a some moments upon being let go off again.


Kee's starving, so he'll eagerly and happy follow Marcus to that place providing food, about time for a neat breakfast! \(^o^)/

Kogeki was a bit grumpy when he discover the Apple was not flesh anymore. But its not like he could do anything more about it. At least it could work as emergency food.

When he was wraping up berry and Escape Orb, he hear about the Guild thing. "Guilds huh? Hmm...yeah, it could be interesting. If anyone else will join, sight me in too. Might be a proper place for training. Not to mentioned gather information. Heck, I could even find ways to make me evolve. If you gonna join too Kee, I okay to too. Besides, you might need some backup in case we find Fighting-types. You gonna be in trouble if you find such enemies. And you can help me in case we find other ghosts."

When Kee hand him over to Kogeki the $250, he was silence for a few seconds, without say anything, until he get close to Kee and offer a paw for a handshake. "...Thanks. I will repay you indeed when time comes."

Kogeki do feel hungry so yeah, he one hundred open for eat something!
